"Our new website makes information easier to find and the whole site is easier to navigate as well," said Cochran Firm Atlanta workers' compensation attorney Andre' Ramsay. "In our practice, we have learned that people need more information about their rights under worker's compensation law. They don't understand and are not sure where to find what they need. With our new website, we can reach out to these people and give them the tools they need to make an informed decision."

Making website and social media sites public is very important, said The Cochran Firm Atlanta's partners. Mr. Ramsay said people need to know they can get quality information without committing to anything or providing more details than they want to give.

"We understand that people in other states will be looking at our information, our videos, and posts. We expect other attorneys who do workers' compensation will also look at it. That's ok. We are here to help people. We want people to have the best information possible so they can make the best decision possible," the workers' compensation' lawyer said. The new website will have a blog where attorneys will discuss worker's compensation laws in Atlanta and across Georgia as well as national laws. Court cases, especially, will be discussed. The social media sites and the blog will complement each other.

Mr. Ramsay said that too is intentional. The idea is to give people who are injured on the job as much quality information as possible, he said. Also, the expanded reach will allow the firm to examine changes to worker's compensation law in court cases and statutory law.

"We won't talk about a specific workers' compensation claim. What we will discuss is the type of case pending before a court. After the judge rules, then we can discuss in detail what the verdict means and how it will apply to future worker's compensation claims," he said. "We will take a look at new laws from the General Assembly and Congress and how OSHA plans to implement those laws.
