Manchester, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/27/2016 -- A number of dog safety deposit boxes have been installed around NYC according to reports. The boxes are designed to aid would-be shoppers who cannot leave their beloved four legged friend alone for various logical reasons. Chelsea Brownridge came up with the initial concept for the Dog Parker safety deposit box as she was fed up with having to leave her pet at home whilst she visited the shops for essential shopping items. It is intended to provide a safe and convenient alternative for shoppers who don't want to leave their dogs outside shops and who cannot leave them at home.

The Dog Parker enables you to safely house your dog whilst nipping to the shops for coffee, groceries or anything you may need to pop into town for. It is much more suitable and dog friendly alternative to tying dogs up for any length of time. It is far more practical and comfortable for the dog who can enjoy a nice nap in the safety of the box.

There are five Dog Parker's currently being tested out in Brooklyn with plans for a further 100 being rolled out across the city. Members will need to register with Dog Parker for access at a cost of $25 (£17.50) annual membership fee.
