The system, due to be installed in late October when the resident bat population has migrated, comprises of a wall type extract/input canopy, 18.5m of fire rated extract ductwork, 24m of supply ductwork, fans, frequency inverter controllers and a current monitoring gas interlock panel. The 5950mm x 1500mm canopy is manufactured from 1.2mm stainless steel 304 grade and conforms to DW/172 specifications.

RKW Ventilation are also working on other National Trust sites including Hardwick Hall, Hidcote Manor Gardens, Warlington, Powis Castle, Nostell Priory and Souter Lighthouse.

Leeds, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/25/2010 -- 'RKW Ventilation Ltd, http://www.rkwventilation.co.uk are currently installing 'Phase 1' in a new Angus Steak House in Central London for The Noble Organisation.

'Phase 1' is the installation of the new extract and supply ductwork, complete with fans and attenuators. Each run consists of up to 40m of ductwork, including a 20m external extract stack, discharging 2m above the roof eaves.

'Phase 2' will include the installation of a new extraction canopy, manufactured from 1.2mm 304 grade stainless steel. The canopy, which is currently being fabricated in RKW Ventilation's factory in Leeds, will meet all DW/172 specifications. The canopy was designed using AutoCAD and has numerous cut-outs for structural beams and a 400mm support column running through.

The kitchen supply air will be via a separate stainless steel input plenum, with the air being diffused through perforated stainless steel grilles.

Wimborne this week. They designed, manufactured and installed the system for Mitchells & Butlers Vintage Inn brand.of three stainless steel canopies, two of which are of an induction type. The third canopy has a double filter housing consisting of stainless steel baffle filters to give an increase in the extract rate over a chargrill. The extract fan used is a Flakt Woods 3 phase JM series.

The supply air is via a full length stainless steel supply plenum, integrated with a induction plenum to two separate canopies. The air is expelled via stainless steel perforated grilles.

The system also incorporates a three channel, mixed phase, current monitoring gas interlock panel and was tested and commissioned by our own commissioning/electrical engineer.

This week RKW Ventilation has also completed new kitchen ventilation systems at two other Mitchells & Butlers sites – Castle Hotel at Castleton and Woodside Inn at Worsley.

Having just had their busiest month on record, RKW Ventilation are currently manufacturing canopies/ductwork for the National Trust and for numerous schools for Lincolnshire and Hertfordshire County Councils.

Leeds, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/09/2010 -- RKW Ventilation http://www.rkwventilation.co.uk have just completed, what it hopes, will be the first of many ventilation systems in a new Angus Steakhouse in Central London. The owners, The Noble Organisation, approached them with a view to supplying and fixing a new L shaped extract/input canopy, with a short manufacture and supply time of only a few weeks.

Having surveyed the site, RKW found the existing system unable to cope with an increase in kitchen equipment. In the two weeks allocated to them, before the 16th December opening, RKW manufactured and installed a complete new system. This comprises of a stainless steel L shaped input/extract canopy with various angles, cut outs and columns running through. The canopy has a stainless steel perforated front face to allow the input air to be expelled. The extract filter bank comprises of 12 nos stainless steel baffle filters and provides an extract rate of 3.2m3/s. To the outside, RKW installed a new ventilation stack over 12 metres in height.

Both the new client, The Noble Organisation, and the catering company involved, Hansen's, have expressed their delight with the new canopy. The catering representative remarked 'the canopy is a work of art and a credit to the company'.
