London, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/02/2016 -- The 'Experience Teaching' project offers a wonderful opportunity to develop your newly acquired teaching skills through an all expenses paid 5-week placement in Rome, Valencia or Porto. It is a unique opportunity to gain some real teaching experience abroad. There are 60 scholarships and the successful applicants will be split into 3-4 waves over the life of the project from October 2015 to October 2017. Numbers are now limited and your preferred destination may not available.

London, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/29/2016 -- If you have ever wanted to travel and teach English to people all over the world, the CELTA program is for you. CELTA stands for the Cambridge University Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults. Next available full time CELTA course, presented by Language Link, is beginning on May 23 in London and will produce teachers of the English language. The participants can have a varied educational background; the program accepts those who have no teaching experience along with those who have spent years in a classroom. Aspiring teachers will be able to learn from varied trainers in a class that is full when 18 students sign up.

This full time course is intensive with a Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 5 pm schedule but the packed schedule of the four weeks gives an education to teachers that could otherwise take years to learn. Some of the areas covered in this program are grammatical structures in English, teaching techniques, pronunciation, classroom resources, texts and more. There is also six hours of teaching to a class that are observed and feedback is given by the program's trainers.

The cost of the program is also much less than one would expect in a traditional university setting. The month of classes costs only £1,100. The amount of information available to learn and the rapid pace of the program makes it a fantastic value for someone who is wanting to see the world and share their language but might be lacking an official teaching certification.
