Brystra Accelerates Growth in Data-Driven Solutions Choosing Partnership with Retensa Retention Strategies

Retensa can predict why employees stay, Brystra can calibrate the benefits that prevent them from leaving. Together, Brystra will use Retensa's predictive analytics software to assess resignation risk of top talent.

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/16/2019 -- Brystra, the cutting-edge HR and benefits management authority will partner with Retensa, Employee Retention Strategies and Research leader, to increase database of employee experiences that predict employee turnover.

Brystra recognizes that retaining the best employees starts with understanding why people leave. The best tool for that is a good exit interview. Exit interviews are the critical instrument to collect key insights on the termination of an employee experience. However, inferior exit interviews are costly and misleading. If the organization thinks that the responses are accurate, and takes action from bad data, hundreds of employees and millions of dollars can be lost. Brystra chose Retensa's nearly 20 years of experience as a partner who knows what to ask, how to ask, and when to ask the questions to predict and prevent staff turnover. Retensa's employee experience and talent analytics software, a cloud-based and mobile suite of talent analytics tools will be available to Brystra clients to accelerate their understanding of why their employees join, stay, and leave.

Actionable insights from exit interviews come from the work of dedicated professionals, Organizational Psychologists and Data Analysts. They share the common goal of retaining top talent and are experts at helping organizations identify disengaged employees and eliminate assumptions. A recent survey found that 89% of managers believe employees leave for more money, yet 88% of employees listed reasons other than compensation for leaving1. Retensa's exit interview software, ExitPro, can help a company reduce turnover by up to 67%.

Motivate and Inspire Employees With Low Cost Summer Events in New York City

Want employees who will remain interested in their work this summer? Kick-start the summer by sustaining employee motivation with activities provided on Retensa’s list of inexpensive or FREE events in New York City.

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/14/2012 -- Retensa, a leader in Employee Retention and Research and developer of Employee Retention News, publishes its 9th annual list of Summer Fun Activities to help firms boost employee morale, build social community at work, and increase employee productivity. Many activities are inexpensive or free to an organization and its employees, a great way to reduce employee costs while improving corporate culture.

Why Summer Activities and Events Motivate and Retain Employees

When employees engage in interactive activities with co-workers during work hours, the effects are seen in how much better and how much more involved the workforce is in performing tasks. Workplace activities positively impact employee well-being, customer satisfaction, and employee performance. Enjoying time together with co-workers outside of the workplace can also increase employee loyalty. When employees receive genuine appreciation, they are more likely to be retained. In fact, 64% of Americans who leave their jobs say it is because they didn't feel appreciated1. One way in which organizations can show appreciation for employees is by arranging social events.

An important philosophy of successful organizations is balancing passion for work with passion for life. In support of this mission, Retensa presents their 9th annual New York City summer fun list. After a hard day's work, or for one of the millions of people visiting New York City this summer, the list is a resource for finding fun (and often free) events.

Retensa's summer events list provides employers with cost-efficient ways to invest in their employees through interactive recognition events. The list provides tips on new ways to experience after-work fun, to show dedication to employees, and to strengthen organizational relationships. Employers can create an employee outing, workforce event, or staff appreciation day. Visitors of New York City are also able to receive a one-stop resource for summer events that may otherwise remain unknown for non-New Yorkers.
Free HR Services for Green Organizations: Retensa Green Grant 2012

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/26/2012 -- Announcing the 2012 Retensa Green Grant, an initiative designed to advance environmentally responsible organizations by creating exceptional work environments.

Retensa, a leader in talent management and retention research and solutions, announces the start of 2012's Retensa Green Grant program. The grant offers three awards, for a total of $30,000 in services. Retensa delivers the pro-bono HR solutions to companies providing green services, creating green energy, and developing green products or food to foster environmentally friendly practices. The HR service awards enable organizations to grow in the green industry by implementing talent management best practices and rewarding development programs throughout the Employee Life Cycle.

Green companies need great employees to implement their vision, mission, and causes. In high growth industries, recruiting and retaining staff is still a challenge most organizations struggle to manage. Retensa will support green organizations to nurture creativity & innovation, to improve HR efficiency and create a high performing workforce. Research shows that actively engaged employees deliver 32-48% higher productivity. Attracting and retaining top talent will provide green businesses with a competitive advantage. It will help them increase innovation, improve productivity, support their triple bottom line, and become an Employer of Choice.

Retensa recognizes that different sized companies have different sized needs. For that reason, the Retensa Green Grant offers three categories of service grants. Grants will be awarded to a small, medium, and large sized company who meet the eligibility criteria and demonstrate the greatest green impact. Eligible companies must be US-based, have more than 10 employees, been in operation for at least two years, and generate a majority of its revenue from green energy, products, or services. Companies must apply by April 30, 2012 to be considered. The Grants can be applied towards exit interviews, employee surveys, recruiting support, training seminars or more. Complete Green Grant details can be found at (http://www.greenbusinessgrant.com).

Shifts in American Culture? Sixth Annual "Biggest Quits" List Names 2010's Top Resignations

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/06/2011 -- Retensa presents, the "Biggest Quits of 2010," an annual review of resignations in sports, business, and politics in the United States.

Retensa, a leader in Talent Management Strategies and Research, publishes its sixth annual "Biggest Quits" list. 2010 was a year of economic recovery and social change. Disgruntled workers are ready to jump ship at a record pace and in dramatic ways. A staggering 84% of people already employed plan to look for a new position in 2011. Up from 60% last year and the highest percentage ever recorded. If only one-fourth of them take action, it will be higher than any voluntary turnover rate in history.

Each year, Retensa compiles a list of the top ten most noteworthy resignations across all US industries, sports, and government.

Fewer resignations at the top of the helm took place this year, but those who did made a statement. Who would think that Steven Slater, a flight attendant from JetBlue, would make the same list as Simon Cowell, acerbic judge on American Idol? What does the Chief of Staff of the White House have to do with the NBA's Most Valuable Player? Ever wonder what happened to MySpace and what they have in common with the DC Chancellor of Schools?

In 2010, Americans demanded transparency and stronger leadership. The inevitable growth of social media pushed organizations to increase tweets, likes, fan bases, and network connections, which accelerated the already always-on news cycle. HR departments stressed over social media policies and disciplinary measures. Lower tolerance of smoke screens and demand for transparency sprung WikiLeaks into the conversation. Could our dig out of the recession also be the start of a cultural revolution? What happens when leadership changes don't work out for the best? Find out whose resignations made an impact big enough to create change in 2010. The answers can be found in the sixth annual publication of Retensa's Top 10 "Biggest Quits".

About the "Biggest Quits" List
Only U.S.-based departures qualify for inclusion on Retensa's annual "Biggest Quits" List. To make the top 10, Retensa applies three criteria: (1) the magnitude of impact in the individual's industry or field, (2) the financial loss or loss of influence of the enduring organization, and (3) the degree that the enduring organization is unprepared to respond. View and post your comments on this year's list at: http://www.biggestquits.com.

Free Training from Federal Grant Will Help Employers Reduce Workforce Costs & Improve Employee Performance

A free training program - funded by a federal grant - gives employers in Missouri the opportunity to learn best practices on how to attract, motivate, and retain employees.

St. Joseph, MO -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/28/2010 -- Community Action Partners (CAP) of the greater St. Joseph area hired Retensa, a leader in talent management research and retention solutions, to provide Retention Skills Training as a regional employee retention initiative.

The economic recovery is slow, and while other regions still haven't noticed any economic improvement, St. Joseph, MO, is the 5th fastest growing county in the United States.* The future looks bright for the area. However, common post-recession problems to expect when the economy improves are salary inflation and increases in voluntary employee turnover. Losing employees, from top performers to hourly workers, has serious negative effects on organizations' customer service, employee morale, productivity, and profitability. There is good news, however:

1) Tools exist to help organizations avoid and prevent employee turnover; and
2) Employers in the greater St. Joseph area are now eligible to receive these tools for free.

Retensa is currently surveying employers in the Greater St. Joseph area to capture the state of the workforce. Survey findings will be incorporated into customized Retention Skills Training workshops for employers and managers. The trainings will be held in modules starting in the fall of 2010. These workshops are completely free, funded by federal Workforce Investment Act grants. The purpose of the Retention Skills Training is to provide employers in the Greater St. Joseph community with actionable tips and tools to retain employees, keep them engaged and productive, and reduce costs caused by employee turnover.

Participants Will Learn How To:

• Assess the impact and true costs of losing top performers
• Assess the impact and true costs of keeping poor performers
• Identify, develop, and retain both high-potentials and high-performers at every stage of the Employee Life Cycle
• Gather genuine employee feedback in order to increase motivation and loyalty with key employees
• Understand motivational drivers unique to their staff
• Identify behavioral patterns which indicate "at risk" employees
• Decrease turnover by addressing turnover's root causes unique to their organization

Organizations interested in receiving free expertise and Retention Skills Training, which can greatly reduce company costs and improve employee morale, are encouraged to contact Retensa. Call (212) 545-1280 and ask for the St. Joseph Training Manager.
About Retensa
Retensa is a leader and innovator in Employee Retention Strategies and Workforce Technology.
Internationally recognized as a thought leader by ABC News, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and the New York Times, Retensa helps employers reduce staff turnover, improve morale, and build HR metrics for a high-performing workforce on all levels.
Many employers who hire and manage hourly-wage workers have adopted the attitude that people in lower-wage, lesser skilled positions will not stay and little can be done about their leaving. This assumption—that it is cheaper to replace people than to try to retain them—is a costly and crucial factor in businesses' profitability and, in some cases, their survival.

Biggest Quits List Names Lucky Few Who Could Quit (and Did) in 2009

Retensa presents, the "Biggest Quits of 2009," an annual review of resignations in sports, business, and politics in the United States.

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/11/2010 -- New York, NY, January, 2010 - Retensa, a leader in Talent Management Strategies and Research, publishes its annual "Biggest Quits" list. In a year characterized by concerns of job security along with unprecedented job dissatisfaction, a lucky few had the luxury to resign. What does an NFL coach defeating all 32 NFL teams, the CEO of Tyson Foods, and the Head of Sales of Google have in common? How about Oprah, a four-time Olympic gold medalist with 6000 career points in basketball, and an AIG executive? Each year, Retensa compiles a list of the top ten most noteworthy resignations across all US industries, sports, and government. If you take a look at the most influential turnover stories of 2009, this is likely the only list you'll find both Tiger Woods and a Supreme Court Justice on the same list.

The year 2009, and the first decade has been an era of juxtaposition. Extremes abound in politics, the weather, and the economy. Organizations were creative in their recovery methods while others had to sustain further layoffs. Social media caused news about those on this year's "Biggest Quits" to travel faster than ever. Organizations must now consider the pros and cons of this medium in the employer-employee relationship, policies, and branding while individuals assess which personal image to reveal. Economic recovery may be in sight, but far enough away that voluntary executive resignation decreased from the highs we saw in 2008's review. CEOs, like the rest of the workforce, held fast as their bargaining power dwindled. As the economy warms, the horizon is likely to hold a wave of disenchanted leaders and other stars looking for something better. For 2009, Retensa proudly presents the annual publication of Retensa's Top 10 "Biggest Quits". ###

About the "Biggest Quits" List
Only U.S.-based departures qualify for inclusion on Retensa's annual "Biggest Quits" List. To make the top 10, Retensa applies three criteria: (1) the magnitude of impact in the individuals' industry or field, (2) the financial loss or loss of influence of the enduring organization, and (3) the degree that the enduring organization is unprepared to respond. View and post your comments on this year's list at: http://www.biggestquits.com/.
