Spokane, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 08/14/2017 -- Ambient Water (OTCMKTS:AWGI), a leading provider of atmospheric water generation systems for extracting water from humidity in the air, today announced that it has received an order to purchase one of the Company's Ambient Water 20K atmospheric water generation systems, branded as Next Generation Water Generator (NGWG 76000) in the Middle East market, for approximately $1M. The purchase order was received through the Company's distribution agent, Next Generation Oilfield Equipment Trading LLC, a family business in Oil & Gas and Renewable Technologies based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and represents the first commercial sale of the Company's industrial atmospheric water generation technology.

The Company will begin manufacturing of the 20K unit immediately and anticipates shipment to the buyer in approximately 20 weeks. The equipment will be manufactured by Applied Cryo Technologies in Houston, Texas, who also manufactured the Company's AW800 system that has been demonstrated to multiple parties from around the world.

The approximately $1M purchase price for the water generation system will be made by an irrevocable Letter of Credit with milestones for payment upon shipping, installation, and verification of operation. Additional orders are anticipated once the 20K has demonstrated its effectiveness in the region where it will be installed.

"We are pleased to announce the first commercial sale of one of our industrial atmospheric water generation units to a buyer in the Middle East. This sale was secured through the exemplary efforts of the Next Generation team; Farhana (General Manager), Shaf (CTO), Haad (Head Advisor) & Hassan Saeed (CEO). We are confident that our system will perform well in the region, where humidity levels are elevated, providing yet another proof of concept for our technology," said Keith White, CEO of Ambient Water. "Securing this first sale, and the revenue that it generates, is a crucial milestone for our Company but we believe it is only the beginning. Our client has expressed interest in purchasing additional units once the first is up and running. We continue to have positive conversations with other parties in water scarce regions around the globe, providing further opportunity to generate additional revenue and bring value back to our shareholders."

"The advent of the NGWG 76000 in the Middle East is the cornerstone for Atmospheric Water Generation as it signifies the potential of this technology in providing a cost effective, reliable, viable and sustainable solution for water production. This sale marks the inevitability of Water from the Air technology replacing traditional forms of water production such as desalination and reverse osmosis which are not only expensive to maintain but also have a severe ecological and environmental impact on our planet," said Shaf Hassan, CTO of Next Generation Abu Dhabi.

Ballast Point Partners with Ambient Water to Produce Beers from Condensation

Atmospheric water generation company provides sustainably sourced water to Ballast Point Brewing Company for special brews which are now available

Spokane City, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/16/2017 -- Ambient Water (OTCMKTS:AWGI), a leading provider of atmospheric water generation systems for extracting water from humidity in the air, today announced that Ballast Point Brewing Co. has completed its first two batches of beer made with water produced from Ambient's atmospheric water generation systems.

The Company's flagship atmospheric water generator, the AW400, has been installed adjacent to UCSD's Jacobs Medical Center, a state-of-the-art 245-bed medical and surgical specialty hospital opened in November of 2016. It is now fully functional onsite producing hundreds of gallons of potable water per day. Ambient Water is working with Ballast Point and other San Diego breweries to begin providing the water for brewing, an opportunity that could provide an additional and sustainable water source.

"Water is obviously a key ingredient to the beer brewing process, so this is intriguing for us. The AW400 generates clean and exceptionally pure water, making it a great water source for brewers and the perfect canvas for exploring new styles and flavors," said Julia Cain, Director of Research & Development, Ballast Point Brewing Co. "Utilizing Ambient Water's atmospheric water generators could provide us with the water we need while bolstering our precious water supply. Plus, it's a great story to tell people they are drinking beer with natural condensation in it. Unique stories like that are what craft beer is all about."

Ballast Point brewed two pilsners using pure water from Ambient's water generator at UCSD, which extracts moisture from the coastal fog. Named CleanEscape #1 (5.3% ABV) and CleanEscape #2 (5.5% ABV) after pirates escaping into fog banks, the beers explore how higher sulfate in water can enhance hop taste and bitterness, along with testing higher chloride levels to enhance mouthfeel and malt. CleanEscape #1 has more chloride, while CleanEscape #2 has more sulfate.

CleanEscape is a San Diego take on a classic Pilsner—clean and refreshing, with more hops. The resulting beer isn't as hoppy as an IPA, but features hints of floral and slightly fruity hop notes. The greatest benefit of the water produced from Ambient Water to the breweries is its purity.

This allows the breweries to add their own ingredients to it to mimic water tastes from around the world, and brew beers that have never been tasted before. Water from an Ambient Water atmospheric water generator has only 7 PPM (particles per million), as compared to water from the City of San Diego that has 700 PPM.

"We're very excited about this unique opportunity to work with these great breweries and further showcase the purity and clean taste of the water produced by our atmospheric water generators," said Keith White, CEO, Ambient Water. "Americans enjoy and consume a lot of beer, and water is the main ingredient. Breweries, especially those producing craft, are seeking a sustainable water source that is not only cost efficient but also pure, allowing the brewer to manipulate taste specific to the beer they are creating. We believe this partnership will open doors for us within the market, and allow for us to bring value back to our shareholders."

A 2012 study by The Beer Institute reports that the U.S. consumed an estimated 6.3 billion gallons of beer within that calendar year. As beer is made up of 90-95 percent water, the market opportunity for a sustainable source able to produce water which is pure is quite significant. There are more than 2,800 craft breweries in the U.S. alone, providing Ambient Water with a significant market for its atmospheric water generation technology.
The Company's flagship atmospheric water generator, the AW400, has been installed next to the UCSD Healthcare Complex's architecturally stunning Power Plant, adjacent to the beautiful UCSD's Jacobs Medical Center, a state-of-the-art 245-bed medical and surgical specialty hospital opened in November of 2016. The AW400 has undergone a series of performance and water quality tests to ensure optimal production of safe and consumable water, and is now fully functional onsite producing hundreds of gallons of clean, pure water condensed from the air per day.

"We have been working with our UCSD co-sponsors for almost a year and are so very excited to have taken this next step to get the AW400 installed, fully functioning, and producing consumable water," said Keith White, CEO, Ambient Water. "This application will serve as another terrific use case validation for our technology, as we continue to showcase the immense value of water technology in the state of California."

Ambient Water agreed in early 2016 to allow UCSD faculty, students, and facility professionals to study the technology and propose other potential applications for its use.

Ambient Water Pursues Business Development Opportunities for Atmospheric Water Generation Technology in the Middle East

Company maintains positive discussions with government and business leaders throughout the region for potential purchase and implementation of water generators to combat water scarcity issues.

Spokane, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 12/20/2016 -- Ambient Water (OTCQB:AWGI), a leading provider of atmospheric water generation systems for extracting water from humidity in the air, today commented on its recent and ongoing discussions regarding the potential purchase of its atmospheric water generation technologies by multiple organizations and government bodies throughout the Middle Eastern region where water scarcity persists due to prolonged drought. Potential customers in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Egypt, among others, are interested in Ambient Water's technology.

The Middle East has had conditions of drought since 1998, with a recent NASA study finding that the current water shortage is the worst in the region in the past 900 years. The drought was most severe between 2007-2010, but with little relief the region has failed to recover. As such, government leaders across the Middle East are seeking out technology solutions that can ease the water scarcity issues and bring some relief to the people who live there. Company representatives have had extensive conversations with leaders in the region, resulting in significant interest and positive feedback around the purchase and implementation of its atmospheric water generation technology, including its newly launched AW800, the AW400 unit, the M2500, and the AW20K.

Saudi Arabia. The drought in Saudi Arabia has gotten so bad that it can no longer grow its own alfalfa to feed its cows, forcing the country to outsource the need to the United States. With 170,000 cows within its borders, Saudi Arabia must now pay the U.S. to grow the crop that feeds them because its homeland is not environmentally able to do so.

United Arab Emirates. As its reservoirs run dry, the UAE has searched for ways to bring itself out of drought, including building a mountain that would increase rainfall. A recent report predicts that parts of the region will be uninhabitable by 2050 due to extreme heat made worse by climate change, meaning natural resources are going to continue to run dry.

Egypt. A surging population – expected to rise from 90 million to more than 130 million in 2030 – has Egypt facing a critical phase in its water infrastructure, according to the country's water minister. The country currently gets most its water from the Nile river, but further development in other areas near the river could lessen the available water resources for use.

"The Middle East has been one of the driest regions in the world for nearly two decades, with little relief in sight. Conservation has even become an issue because there just isn't that much water available to even conserve," said Keith White, CEO, Ambient Water. "We feel strongly that our atmospheric water generators are the ideal solution to bring clean, consumable water to the people of the Middle East. Our technology works optimally within the region's environmental conditions and we have the ability to meet bulk water needs of hundreds of thousands of gallons produced per day. We look forward to continuing the positive conversations that we have had and to continue our push within the region as we seek revenue from the sale of our technology."

Ambient Water continues to receive frequent inquiries from entities throughout the Middle Eastern region, and is working with its distributors to demonstrate its technology and showcase it as a solution for the drought.

Ambient Water's patented atmospheric water generation technology literally makes water out of thin air, transforming humidity into an abundant source of clean water near the point of use. With multiple systems already commercially available or in development, the Company's technology produces clean and fresh water for a host of commercial industries, including oil and gas exploration and farming, while also providing fresh drinking water for homes, offices, and communities.

Ambient Water Announces Sales of Atmospheric Water Generators in Mexico and Peru

Spokane, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 12/01/2016 -- Ambient Water (OTCPink:AWGI), a leading innovator of atmospheric water generation systems for extracting water from humidity in the air, today announced it has fulfilled sales orders for its residential atmospheric water generation units in both Peru and Mexico. Ambient Water announced MOUs for exclusive distribution in both countries earlier this year.

The fulfilled sales orders were for Ambient Water's residential unit, the AW2500, which can produce up to five gallons of clean, drinkable water per day solely from the humidity that already exists in the air. The units will be used throughout small businesses in both Mexico and Peru, where drought has been rampant over the last year. Due to positive feedback from its networks in each country, Ambient Water anticipates follow-on orders in the near future, including possible orders of the AW 800 which it recently demonstrated in Houston, Texas.
"We are excited to announce sales in both Mexico and Peru for our AW2500 generators. We have had many positive conversations with business and governmental leaders and anticipate additional purchases of our commercial units in the near future," said Keith White, Founder and CEO, Ambient Water. "This is an important step forward for the Company as we seek to generate revenue by providing our industry-leading technology to areas ravaged by drought, and we are confident that we are well positioned to build upon this recent success."

These sales come during a time of great interest in the Company's technology, as well as the atmospheric water generation industry as a whole. A recent report states that the market for atmospheric water generators is projected to reach $4.74B by 2024, highlighted by increased commercial installations to combat drought in water scarce regions, including Mexico and Peru.

Company showcases AW800 last week in Houston to a contingent representing 10 countries and territories ravaged by drought; continues to pursue opportunities for sales in Latin America, Central America, and the Middle East

Spokane, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 10/26/2016 -- Ambient Water (OTCPink:AWGI), a leading innovator of atmospheric water generation systems for extracting water from humidity in the air, today commented on its recent successful demonstration of its newest atmospheric water generation technology, the newly launched model AW800, at an invitation-only event in Houston, Texas last week.

Ambient Water executives were on hand to showcase the AW800 to a contingent of guests representing the United States, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Chile, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Southern Caribbean islands. Ambient Water has targeted these specific countries and territories recently due to the extended drought each currently faces, and sees significant revenue opportunities to sell technology within each region.

Company CEO Keith White provided an intimate look at the technology, including the internal construction and control systems, the maintenance process, and most importantly, the dispensing of high quality, consumable water. All attendees consumed water directly from the AW800, which has been operating in Houston producing water for several weeks.

"We are very pleased with the turnout and with the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received from all those in attendance, including those traveling from drought-stricken areas such as Latin America, Central America, and the Middle East," said White. "Drought is impacting more people every single day, with no relief in sight despite another year discussing conservation instead of investment in solutions. We believe our technology is commercially ready to address bulk water needs and relieve the pressure on our dwindling natural resources.

"Our atmospheric water generators are rugged and durable and operate off of electricity, making them ideal for applications in any environment. We look forward to continuing our discussions with the decision-makers who attended, and work toward providing relief to their people with our water technology solution."

Ambient Water Launches Newest Atmospheric Water Generator, AW800, to Address Bulk Water Needs in Water Scarce Regions

Spokane, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 09/07/2016 -- Ambient Water (OTCPink:AWGI), a leading innovator of atmospheric water generation systems for extracting water from humidity in the air, today announced the launch of its newest model, the AW800, to address bulk water needs in water scare regions. The AW800 is capable of generating up to 800 gallons of water per day for various uses including human consumption and agriculture.

The AW800 is the newest model of Ambient Water's commercial atmospheric water generator lineup and was built to maximize water generation while minimizing electrical power usage for optimal efficiency. The AW800 is a self-contained water generation and dispensing unit that is housed within a 20-foot ISO shipping container, allowing for easy transit and a rugged design to endure the environmental elements of any region.

Utilizing standard electricity, the AW800 requires 55kW – approximately 24kW for steady state operation – at a variety of voltages, which can vary based on installation location. When located in regions with sufficient temperature and humidity – the technology can produce water with humidity levels as low as 30% - the technology will produce quality drinking water that is uniquely filtered to ensure it is 99.9% free of all impurities. The technology is also equipped to handle local dispensing of the water, as well as bulk delivery.

"We are pleased to announce the newest model of our line of atmospheric water generators, the AW800, which will enable us to further serve the bulk water needs of many throughout the world," said Keith White, Founder and CEO of Ambient Water. "One of the biggest takeaways from our conversations with global leaders in regards to the drought was that they needed more water than even they thought. As such, they required a solution that could produce large amounts in bulk, while still remaining efficient on energy use and cost. We feel strongly that the AW800 can meet and exceed these needs as a solution to water scarcity, while also driving revenue for our company."

The launch of the AW800 comes at a time when bulk water needs have risen drastically across the globe, including in Latin America, South America, The Middle East, and parts of North America. Ambient Water has worked to address water scarcity in those regions, having recently signed MOUs for exclusive sale of its technology in Mexico, and Peru. The company continues to have positive conversations with political leaders and decision makers in other regions across the globe.

Ambient Water Signs Memorandum of Understanding for Exclusive Sale of Atmospheric Water Generators in the Dominican Republic and Monterrey, Mexico

Spokane, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 08/17/2016 -- Ambient Water (OTCQB:AWGI), a leading innovator of atmospheric water generation systems for extracting water from humidity in the air, today announced the signing of two separate Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), which outline the collective intent to enter into a definitive agreement within the next 30 days for the exclusive sale of the Company's atmospheric water generators within the Dominican Republic and the city of Monterrey, Mexico.

The first MOU states that Gestion Tecnologica ("GTEC") and its president, Mr. David Fermin, will have exclusive rights to sell and market Ambient Water's atmospheric water generators in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Exclusivity will be subject to and granted following the execution of a definitive agreement and payment for the initial stocking order of Ambient Water's residential and commercial units. We anticipate that the agreement will have an initial term of three years with an option for annual renewal based on annual sales quotas. The MOU is a non-binding expression of intent to enter into a formal contractual relationship.

The second MOU states that ITSARI SAS, Mr. Miguel Angel Garza Moya ("ITSARI") will have exclusive rights to sell and market Ambient Water's atmospheric water generators in the city of Monterrey, Mexico. The agreement also grants non-exclusive rights to sell and market Ambient Water's atmospheric water generators throughout the rest of Mexico.

The MOUs enable GTEC and ITSARI to establish a sales, distribution, and marketing cycle in the Dominican Republic and Mexico, respectively, for the AW2500, Ambient Water's residential model of its atmospheric water generation technology, which can produce up to five gallons of drinkable water per day from the humidity that exists in the air.
Ambient Water Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Frontier Hydrocarbons Ltd. for Exclusive Sale of Atmospheric Water Generators in Peru

Spokane, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/22/2016 -- Ambient Water (OTCQB:AWGI), a leading innovator of atmospheric water generation systems for extracting water from humidity in the air, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which outlines our collective intent to enter into a definitive agreement within the next 30 days. The MOU states that Frontier Hydrocarbons Ltd. will have exclusive rights to sell and market Ambient Water's atmospheric water generators in Peru.

The MOU states that Frontier Hydrocarbons Ltd. will establish an exclusive sales, distribution, and marketing cycle in Peru for the AW2500, Ambient Water's residential model of its atmospheric water generation technology, which can produce up to five gallons of drinkable water per day from the humidity that exists in the air. Additionally, Frontier Hydrocarbon Ltd. will sell Ambient Water's commercial products, capable of producing several hundred gallons of water per day, making them an ideal solution for bulk water needs.

"The drought in South America only continues to worsen as millions continue to be greatly impacted by the severe water scarce conditions throughout the continent," said Keith White, Founder and CEO of Ambient Water. "We believe this relationship with Frontier Hydrocarbons will enable us to get our technology into the region and to aid the people of Peru who are struggling without water. We look forward to a successful business relationship with Frontier Hydrocarbons as we broaden our Company's global footprint, while also lessening the burden of the citizens of Peru."

The drought in South America continues to worsen, according to the Global Drought Information System, as countries like Peru, Brazil, and Venezuela remain water scarce without signs of relief. Peru continues to lose harvests of crops, including onions, garlic, olives, and rice, leading to increases in food prices of up to 75% within the country. The country even tried to revitalize ancient aqueducts built some 2,000 years ago in an effort to bring clean, consumable water to its people and green areas.

"We are looking forward to engaging with Ambient Water to deliver a sustainable source of clean, drinkable water to the people of Peru in a time when it is sorely needed," said Warren Levy, CEO and Managing Partner, Frontier Hydrocarbons Ltd. "The water crisis in South America has been well chronicled, and Peru has felt the effects as dramatically as any other country, as the lack of water has left people thirsty and crops dying. The water demands of this country require a solution that can provide a safe and continuous source, and we believe Ambient Water's technology provides that."

Ambient Water Identifies Market Opportunity in Southern Caribbean Due to Extreme Water Crisis in Region

Company in discussion with island officials throughout the region to consider implementation of atmospheric water generation systems to combat water woes

Spokane, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 05/12/2016 -- Ambient Water (OTCQB:AWGI), a leading provider of atmospheric water generation systems for extracting water from humidity in the air, today addressed the sizeable market opportunity for its atmospheric water generation technology systems within the Southern Caribbean, where extreme drought continues to affect citizens across the region.

Ambient Water is currently engaged in discussions with key decision makers in the region, with several meetings and demonstrations having taken place or planned for the immediate future. The Company is currently focusing on the following islands: The Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Montserrat, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Vincent and Grenadines, Grenada, Margarita, Curacao, and Aruba.

Barbados is one of the highest ranking water-scarce nations globally, with a per capita water use that far exceeds natural supply. The problem has gotten so bad in recent weeks that the Barbados Water Authority recently had to shut down six of its wells because they had been compromised, with authorities claiming that continued use of the wells would result in salt water being drawn into the distribution network of homes and businesses. Another pumping station has scheduled shutdowns, from 8pm to 4am, where residents are left without water.

"The situation in the Barbados is unfortunately not unique to that area, as much of the Caribbean continues to struggle with water scarcity that is having enormous effects on its residents and businesses. It's clear that conservation is not a viable solution, so other alternatives are necessary," said Keith White, Founder and CEO of Ambient Water. "Our atmospheric water generation technology can be deployed quickly, and generating water within days. The atmospheric conditions of the Caribbean region are nearly perfect for our generators, enabling us to provide a continual source of clean water for the people to consume and use in daily activities without restriction."

Ambient Water believes its atmospheric water generation technologies represent a viable solution for the Southern Caribbean region and beyond because it is an area with high levels of humidity. Ambient Water technology requires only humidity to produce potable water from the air–levels as low as 40%–making the systems ideal for the Caribbean climate.
