iSmart Helps Claim Mis-Sold PPI Easily and Quickly

This Company Focuses on Reclaiming Mis-Sold Payment Protection Insurance

Northampton, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/06/2017 -- With the launch of iSmart Consumer Solutions, PPI claims can be made easily and successfully. Consumers can now obtain compensation if the Payment Protection Insurance or PPI has been mis-sold. This website also offers the option to check PPI for free. It is important to calculate PPI before making claims. If the PPI has been mis-sold, consumers can make complaints to the provider directly.

In some cases, consumers are unaware of the PPI on credit cards or loans. iSmart helps to calculate claims if there are any, through simple techniques. To quote from the website, "Here at iSmart we can help you claim back you're mis-sold PPI, if you are still a little unsure as to whether to claim or not then just get in contact with one of our team now to discuss your situation and the options available to you. We make sure that you have infact had PPI before we start any claim against your finance provider, which is part of a free check that we offer. After we have found out if you have any PPI or not, you are free to choose whether or not to continue with a claim if you feel you were mis-sold, or to make a claim yourself without the help of iSmart. You will not be charged for our free check."

PPI is mis-sold to consumers if it is not suited to specific or individual requirements. In such circumstances, PPI can be reclaimed with the assistance of iSmart Consumer Solutions. PPI is mis sold if insurance is added to the finance or loan even when it is not required by the consumer. Illness, unemployment or any other medical condition can also be applicable to reclaim PPI from the provider.

A close correspondent of the company states, "The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) estimates that millions of people have been mis-sold Payment Protection Insurance. They were sold insurance that didn't suit their needs, and information provided to them was either incorrect or missing at the point of sale. This means that millions of people are able to reclaim PPI that was mis-sold to them."

iSmart offers assistance to reclaim the mis-sold PPI if it is required by the consumers. However, the company offers free assistance to calculate if there is any mis-sold PPI on loans or credit cards. Consumers can choose to avail the services of iSmart to reclaim the PPI or make the claim individually.

Those Who Have Been Mis-Sold Payment Protection Insurance Can Now Claim It Back

Northampton, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/06/2017 -- iSmart Consumer Services Ltd. points out that since their launch in 2007, they have helped a number of people who have been mis-sold PPI in claiming compensation.

Here is some good news that may excite those who have been mis-sold PPI or Payment Protection Insurance. iSmart Consumer Services Ltd. says they can help in getting compensation for these people.

iSmart points out at the studies of the Financial Conduct Authority that says that lending companies as well as those that offer credit cards have been mis-selling PPI to those who borrow or take credit cards from them. In most of the cases, the insurance sold is not suitable for the requirements of these people also. Lending companies and credit card companies misguide these gullible people by providing them with incomplete or wrong information and persuade them to shell out their money for buying PPI.

According to iSmart Consumers Services Ltd., they have managed to get a number of PPI claims settled since their launch in 2007. The company takes pride in pointing out that they have recovered several millions of pounds till now for their customers who were mis-sold PPI.

iSmart Consumer Services Ltd. points out that they will be able to help customers only if they establish certain basic facts for which they require the details of the PPI the customers have and the finance pertaining to the PPI. For getting these details, they have put in place a free check service, they proudly add.

The company adds that those who have bought a credit card or availed a loan or finance within the last 10 years could have PPI that may have been mis-sold to them. They assure these customers that they can help them claim back the mis-sold PPI. Even those who may have even the slightest of apprehensions as to whether they can claim or not can get in touch with one of their team members immediately to discuss their situation so they can know the options available to them, says the company.

iSmart Counsumer Services Ltd. adds that before they begin the claim process, they make sure that the customers who have sought their services really have PPI. That is why they offer the free check service. Once it is found that the customers have PPI, they can seek their services or make a claim themselves, says the company. Customers can be certain that they will not be charged for the free check services.

iSmart Consumer Services Ltd. points out that they are regulated by the Claims Management Regulator that deals with regulated claims management activities.

PPI Scandal: 'Serious Risks' of More Mis-Selling in Financial Services Market

Northampton, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/18/2016 -- According to MP's there are 'serious risks' of further mis-selling scandals coming to light in the financial services industry and much stronger action is needed in order to tackle this kind of culture.

Not only did the Public Accounts Committee claim that a 2018 PPI claims deadline wouldn't be in the interests of the consumer, but it also warned that the pension reforms that were introduced in 2015 could raise the risks of further mis-selling. The pension freedoms act, essentially means that over-55s will more of a choice over how they utilise their pension pots.

Packaged bank accounts were also high on the committee's list of concerns, highlighting a recent increase in complaints. This means that consumers generally pay a monthly fee in return for a bundle of products and services included with a current account.

Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Meg Hillier, stated: "The widespread mis-selling of PPI and other financial products is a vivid demonstration of the risks facing consumers in the financial services market."

"Many people have waited years for a decision on compensation and, because of the way they have pursued their claims, even then they may not receive the full amount. Serious risks of further mis-selling remain."

There have been calls from the PAC to the FCA and the Treasury to do more to indetify how widespread mis-selling was and what activities work to prevent it.

Departments and regulators have been "far too passive" in allowing compensation that could have been paid to mis-selling victims instead of claims managers.

More than 12 million consumers were mis-sold PPI, and firms have paid more than £22bn in compensation since April 2011, the report said.

This Consumer Body Is Slamming the Proposal of FCA Pertaining to PPI Claims

"WHICH?" Says that the Plan of the City Regulators to fix a time-limit for PPI Claims Will Set a Dangerous Precedent and That this will result in "banks having little incentive to pay out compensation swiftly to consumers in any future mis-selling scandals’.

Northampton, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/15/2016 -- The news that the consumer body "WHICH?" has warned against the announcement of the Financial Conduct Authority or FCA that there will be a time-limit for PPI claims may interest mis-sold customers. Almost everyone may be aware that "WHICH?" is acting as a Consumer Watchdog. According to "WHICH?", this announcement can set a very dangerous precedent.

"WHICH?" points out that the City regulators have planned to set a 2018 deadline for all Payment Protection Insurance. They firmly say that this plan is 'ill-judged.' They remind people as to how in 2015, the Financial Conduct Authority has set in motion plans to impose a two-year time limit on all PPI claims. This means that the autumn of 2018 is likely to be the deadline for people.

"WHICH?" also points out that by the end of 2015, the total amount that had been set aside by the big banks for PPI refunds has reached over £30bn. More than £3bn of this sum has been paid out to customers last year alone.

They further add that the FCA is considering running an advertising campaign also to encourage mis-sold customers who have not yet had a chance to claim or who have been believing that their case was not a valid one so they can make their claims immediately. "WHICH?" says that they are slamming this idea because they are of the opinion that this will 'result in banks having little incentive to pay out compensation swiftly to consumers in any future mis-selling scandals'.

They add that they firmly believe 'It is clear that banks should be doing more to make these processes for PPI complaints much simpler and fairer.' They are claiming that before the Financial Conduct Authority goes ahead with any proposals on a time limit, it should bring simpler processes for making a claim. Banks, on their part, should put in place electronic complaints acceptance systems before the proposal of this time limit is implemented.

"WHICH?" continues to point out that the FCA has also called for the publication of more information about how firms have handled claims to date. FCA has also asked for the details such as the amount of redress outstanding. But how the FCA will judge the time limit to be a success is anybody's guess.

"WHICH?" urges those who have apprehensions that they have been mis-sold PPI to come forward and make their claim.
