With this acquisition, Global, a subsidiary of LB&B Associates Inc., continues the significant expansion of its public safety solutions business under LB&B leadership.

Columbia, MD -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/04/2017 -- LB&B Associates Inc., the diversified services company operating in over twenty five states, the District of Columbia, and overseas locations, announces that on January 26, 2017, the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), Orlando, Florida, awarded it and its subcontractor Anchor Innovations the re-compete task order under the FTSS III Contract for Navigational Seamanship Ship-Handling, Contractor Instructor Services (NSS CIS). 

Second Subsequent Award Brings Service Total to 10 Years

This award is the second subsequent award for a total of 10 years of services. The instructors use Polaris V-2 and COVE III Full Mission Bridge and Bridge Wing simulators and classrooms to train each ship's bridge and navigation watch teams. The Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Instructors utilize Bridge Part Task Trainers to train both LCS-1 and LCS-2 variant ships for the LCS Junior Officer and Officer of the Deck Courses. 

The training that LB&B Associates Inc. and Anchor Innovations instructors provide is based on the needs of each type of ship, on the needs of the Pacific and Atlantic Surface Force Commanders, and on the needs of the Surface Warfare Officer School requirements. The locations for which this contract applies include Naval Base San Diego, CA; Naval Station Everett, WA; Naval Station Pearl Harbor, HI; Naval Station Yokosuka, Japan; Naval Station Sasebo, Japan; Naval Station Norfolk, VA; Naval Station Mayport, VA; Naval Station Newport, RI; Fleet Support Activity, Bahrain; and Naval Station Rota, Spain.

Columbia, MD -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/03/2017 -- LB&B Associates Inc., the diversified services company operating in over twenty five states, the District of Columbia, and overseas locations, announces that on February 28, 2017, an agreement was reached with Brekford Corp., a leading public safety and security technology service provider of fully integrated automated traffic safety enforcement solutions, to finalize the sale of 80.1% of Brekford Crop.'s vehicle services business to LB&B Associates Inc. ("LB&B"). The result is the formation on March 1, 2017, of a new entity known as Global Public Safety (GPS). Brekford retains ownership of 19.9% of GPS as a minority member.

GPS is positioned for significant expansion of its public safety solutions business under the leadership of LB&B. With an ongoing minority interest in GPS, Brekford will also assist in whatever manner requested to help that business flourish.
 
Deal Is Consistent with Earlier Merger Agreement

The sale is in keeping with a definitive merger agreement signed between Brekford and Keystone Solutions, Inc. ("Keystone") on February 10, 2017, which included a condition that Brekford was required to sell its vehicle upfitting business to a company with the resources to grow the business nationally.

LB&B is partnered with Anchor Innovations for the performance of this contract. This contract provides Pilot, Aircrew, Naval Flight  Officers, Flight Engineers and Acoustic/Non-Acoustic Tactic Instructors for the E-2C/D, C-2, MH-60R, MH-53, MH-60S, F/A-18 and P-3C aircraft. Instructors use various training methods to include simulators, training devices, classrooms and learning resource centers to facilitate accomplishment of recurring training requirements and tactical proficiency.

Training will be provided at Naval Station Norfolk (Norfolk, Virginia); Naval Air Station Oceana (Virginia Beach, Virginia); Naval Station Mayport (Jacksonville, Florida), and Naval Air Station Jacksonville (Jacksonville, Florida). The Contract Start Date was  September 1, 2016.
