The long-awaited sequel to the flagship match-3 puzzler from Playrix Entertainment is scheduled for release May, 24

Vologda, Russia -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/23/2010 -- Playrix® Entertainment, a casual games developer and publisher of such titles as Fishdom™, Royal Envoy™, Call of Atlantis™, Gardenscapes™, 4 Elements™, and others, announced that Fishdom 2™, the highly-anticipated sequel to the award-winning game Fishdom, is scheduled for exclusive launch May, 24. The game will first be available on the company's web site http://www.playrix.com with major game portals to follow in June 2010.

The original match-3 puzzler hit the world game portals back in 2008 and since then won numerous Best Game awards and critics' accolades. It was honored with the iParenting Media Award as Best Video Game of 2009. Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey™, a hidden object spin-off of the flagship title, was announced #1 Bestseller and Most Downloaded Game of 2009 by AOL Games.

Fishdom 2™ is the sixth title in the Fishdom series, not counting the game's recent adaptation for Facebook and other social networks. Fishdom 2™ will be released in two editions – Premium and Standard, with Premium Edition featuring a lot of valuable bonus content.
