"Two years ago, I was searching for a quality watch and realized all high-quality watches were priced at over $250. The models I liked were too expensive and the affordable watches design and quality was not all what I expected," says founder Alvaro Perez on the inspiration behind the project. "After deep research I found that by introducing digital advantages I could cut those prices significantly, offering even better quality at a fraction of the price of traditional brands. I sold everything I had at the time to start the first steps and get this project off the ground."

With a direct to consumer model, Clodd has cut out the middleman to offer premium watches at a fraction of the price.
