Bachman’s Donates to Womelsdorf Community Library and the Greater Berks Food Bank

Wernersville, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/12/2018 -- Bachman's Roofing, Building & Remodeling is giving back to the community by starting their first annual 12 Days of Giving campaign. During the 12 days leading up to Christmas, a Bachman's employee is chosen to donate $50 in their name from Bachman's Roofing to a charity that is close to them. This campaign allows Bachman's employees to give back and support the communities that they live and work in.

Shawn Claypoole, Bachman's Commercial Sales Associate, was the first employee to win the drawing, and chose to donate to Womelsdorf Community Library. Shawn chose the library because, "It gives the local kids another place to invest in themselves."

"It's the season of giving, so we wanted to do something exciting for as many people as we could in the community for the holidays," said Bachman's Marketing Coordinator, Nicole Kantor. "What better way than having our very own employees choose a charity that's close to them. The holiday cheer is spreading throughout the halls of Bachman's and we're ready to share that joy with the Reading community."

Bill Epting, Bachman's Project Supervisor, was the second employee to win the drawing and chose the Greater Berks Food Bank for his donation. Bill chose the food bank because, "It's horrible going to bed hungry, especially after not eating at all during the day. For children it's worse, because they are still growing. I want my donation to help to alleviate that for somebody."
