The PB Reality Show to Sell Bikini Calendar and Donate All Proceeds to Charity

The PB Reality Show announced today that it will sell the printed version of its online calendar with all proceeds going to charity.

San Diego, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/18/2011 -- The first major reality show to hit the beaches of San Diego, The PB Reality Show ( http://www.pbreality.com ) announced today that it will sell the printed version of its online calendar with all proceeds going to charity. The calendar features 12 of the most stunning models of Southern California, who are actually a part of the show. Jim Lawlor, the the show's creator and executive producer, picked Photocharity as the charity of choice, an organization dedicated to helping the homeless youth of San Diego.

Lawlor, locally known as the PB Millionaire, has a natural affinity for helping the homeless here, particularly because he knows their plight firsthand. When he arrived in San Diego some 20 years ago, he soon ran out of money and often had to sleep on the beach. Despite having a degree in business, Lawlor found it difficult finding work and had to resort to painting houses as a means to get by. It was serendipitous that he came up with an idea for protecting his eyes while spray painting. His patented goggles have since made him millions, which gives him the ability to give back to the community as well as devote time to his reality TV production.

The PB Reality Show is essentially a "backstage pass" to his nouveau riche lifestyle of living in a castle, his VIP access to San Diego's nightlife, and the making of a bikini calendar. Viewers will get to see all the behind-the-scenes drama, including the cat-fights, as beautiful models vie to win their spot in the calendar. Various competitions will be held throughout the spring and summer to qualify contestants for the "Miss Pacific Beach Contest," which awards a Grand Prize of $3,000. The winner will also be involved in promoting the show's various charities.

Lawlor plans to use the show's popularity to bring even more awareness to the causes closest to his heart. "Viewers get drawn into the show with all the sexy models and get hooked by the ensuing drama," he says. "Once we get the audience's attention, we can then bring their awareness to important issues, like the homeless problem here in San Diego."

San Diegans have a lot to look forward to in the comings months, as The PB Reality Show ( http://www.pbreality.com ) is in full-force with filming, casting calls, competitions and jaw-dropping bikini contests. Beginning April 1st with the "PB Scavenger Hunt," the show will be filming at least one major event or competition each month. In fact, one model will be rewarded for selling the most calendars, thereby raising the most money for Photocharity ( http://photocharity.org ).

The calendar is priced at $19.95 and can be purchased by visiting the show's website at http://www.pbreality.com.

A San Diego Success Story Turns Into A Reality Show

Fast forward to today and Lawlor is a millionaire working on a new invention called "The PB Reality Show".

San Diego, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/29/2010 -- When Jim Lawlor, locally known as the PB Millionaire, arrived here in San Diego 18 years ago, the only money he had was in his wallet. Although a college graduate, it was tough finding work so he painted houses just to get by. It wasn't long before his money ran out and he had to spend a few nights in his car.

He found a small office in PB (Pacific Beach) he could rent for only $200 a month. Of course he couldn't let the landlord know he planned to live there. For more than two years he got away with it. Hiding his clothes in the drop ceiling and using the local gym for his shower, he spent all of his time working on his invention- a spray painting goggle.

Fast forward to today and Lawlor is a millionaire working on a new invention called "The PB Reality Show" (http://www.pbreality.com ). Thus the name "PB Millionaire" as he is called by his camera crew. It portrays his new lifestyle of living in a castle - his home - also known as the "PB Castle" which overlooks the city where he now gives back. Also featured in the show are his attractive assistants he calls "Angels" whose main job description is "to fight boredom" but also include things like feeding the homeless.

The reason he expects viewers to watch are the gorgeous women in the show competing to be in the "Girls of PB Calendar". You see, the show is not just about his millionaire lifestyle, the legendary parties at his castle, nor even his charity work. It's also about all the drama that ensues, especially the cat fights from the bikini clad babes vying for a place in the calendar. "It's always going to be the beautiful women that's going to get everyone to watch", he says, "then they'll be drawn in by the show's real drama".

The first episode will be a make or break for the show so Lawlor intends to pull out all the stops. He plans to include behind the scenes of a bikini contest to "search for the hottest girls of San Diego" for their calendar where there's a lot of drama. But there is a softer side of the show as he includes helping homeless. "It will be unlike any other reality show seen before" he says.

A new preview trailer just released on the website has had pretty interesting reviews. "Finally a reality show here in PB" someone wrote. "What a great concept. ( http://www.pbreality.com ) Can't wait to see it air since the Hills is done.", said Nancy K. And Miro D. wrote, "I am actually more interested than I thought I would."

The show will air this September.
