Fast Growing Social Media App Takes the Pressure out of First Dates, Pays for Couples to Dine Out

HowUdish, the social media app for foodies, helps users make romantic connections while eliminating that awkwardness of who pays for the first date.

Brooklyn, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 08/19/2019 -- Let's face it. First dates can be nerve-racking—especially when the bill finally arrives at the end of a meal. Who pays? The reality is there's no clear-cut etiquette on who picks up the dreaded first date tab.

But HowUdish, the social media app for food lovers, wants to ease the instant panic that may arise following that long uncomfortable pause that often comes when deciding who should pay the bill on first time, face-to-face encounters.

"We're trying to go beyond the superficial aspect and use food as the common link under which conversation and connection occur over," stated Michael Gayed, founder of HowUdish. "Nothing brings people together like food, and we wanted to use food as the bridge that connects people for friendships or romantic relationships."

The app is free to use, but for users interested in scoring a free first-date meal, they must first become a premium member for the low fee of $10 a month. A premium subscription allows users to easily chat with any member in the app, and when a match is found, users can schedule a meetup in the chat function and get reimbursed up to $50 for the value of the receipt for just simply going out.

"After uploading a copy of the receipt, users will receive the cashback via PayPal within a matter of days," explained Gayed.

Not interested in dating? That's okay, too. The $50 cashback offer is available to users who are not looking for a romantic connection through the app. Users who are simply looking for friendship with other users and want to meet in person can take advantage of the promotion as well.

"Not everyone wants to just use HowUdish to date. Because of the focus on food and lifestyle selection, there are plenty of people who want to meet new people who share similar tastes and activities," stated Gayed. "Users can choose to just find friendships, and still be eligible for the cashback functionality. We're fostering connections for everyone."

The HowUdish app is simple to use. After users create a profile and include their favorite foods and lifestyle followed, they can swipe through potential friends, dates, or both. They can learn more about their eating habits and even find their perfect match. Users can swipe right on dishes they like and left on ones they don't. HowUdish uses this data to match users with more compatible dates and friends.

"Two kinds of people will enjoy this app. Those that are foodies or follow a particular nutritional lifestyle like vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free who want to find new connections in their neighborhood to share tips, recipes, and connect," stated Gayed. "The others are those who want to date and find people who connect with them based on their mutual love of shared tastes, restaurants, and lifestyle and want to do so in person."

Experienced Texas Attorney Stresses the Importance of Estate Planning in New Book

In Taylor Phillip Willingham’s “Do I Need a Will or a Trust,” the respected lawyer carefully breaks down the difference between wills and trusts while urging people to stop waiting until the last minute to get their affairs in order.

McKinney, Texas -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/24/2019 -- It's a startling statistic. Only 4 in 10 American adults have a will or living trust, according to American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). For Texas estate planning attorney Taylor Phillip Willingham, this low number doesn't really come as a surprise. In fact, he says some people's failure to plan for "the end" is simply because they don't want to admit that they will one day die.

"Most people also just don't know it is important or why they need to do it," stated Willingham. "Many people are also just indifferent. It is something you can put off until you can't. It took me three years of being an estate planning attorney to get mine done, and I had two kids."

Other reasons people avoid planning for the end of life is because it can be expensive, complicated and requires effort, he added. Willingham, however, warns individuals to not let these factors stop them from planning for the future. While avoiding the issue may seem harmless, the financial burden and stress it can create for their loved ones are often enormous.

"All you are are your memories. Your money is not you. True estate planning is to try keep your memories and those you love alive for as long as possible," stressed Willingham. "The best estate planning you can do at this moment is to take out your phone. Film yourself leaving a message to your loved ones, and then store it somewhere where they can find it."

Wills and trusts are two very important documents in life estate planning. In his latest book titled, "Do I Need a Will or a Trust," the three-time author explains the difference between the two, reasons to create one or the other, the need to protect beneficiaries, how to avoid probate, the importance of keeping your estate off Google and much more.

According to Willingham, people over the age of 60, or those who have blended families, minor or disabled children or simply have loved ones they want to take care of will benefit from the advice and real-life examples offered in this book. Although Millennials and Generation Z tend to feel invincible and that they have all the time in the world to think about life estate planning, they, too, can learn a thing or two from the book's invaluable content.

"Young people often have large life insurance policies when they pass, leaving millions of dollars to sometimes old friends," explained Willingham. "On one occasion, I had a client leave $1 million dollars to his ex-girlfriend. The parents were very upset because she was the reason he started using drugs, and she ended up with all his money."

The price of creating a will or trust runs the gamut, costing anywhere from $200 to $20,000. The Texas attorney says it's important for people to set a budget and know that they can generally get everything they need for $2,000 by a good estate planning attorney.
"If someone called me and said, 'I have $1,200. Would you do all my documents for that price?' Most attorneys would probably agree to do it for that price," stated Willingham.

But doing nothing at all, he warns, should never be an option. Failure to do estate planning can not only take a financial and emotional toll on loved ones left to sort out the deceased's belongings, it will also subject the distribution of the individual's estate to the laws established by their state legislature.

"Many of these laws were established 100 of years ago," Willingham said. "Times have changed. Property has changed. Families have changed. Don't be a fool, and put your property in the hands of your state legislature."

Global Health & Peace Philosopher Reveals the Key to Happiness, Inner Solace in New Book

In author Patrick Ehler’s new book titled “Intuition Routine,” he unveils his ‘10 Point Intuition Cell-Awareness Method’ to help others live a life void of negative energy.

Bavaria, Germany -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/18/2019 -- Author Patrick Ehler knows what it's like to hit rock bottom and live a life that's spiraling out of control. For years, he battled severe depression only made worse by anxiety and panic attacks, alcoholism, drug abuse and prostitution. Just when he thought any chance of a normal life was impossible, an accident resulting in electric shock that gave him the wakeup call that he needed to turn it around once and for all.

"This shock forced me to invite myself outside of myself and into 'mycellf.' All my thoughts that were plugged onto the external world, were released and it was like I received a book, a book of wisdom," stated Ehler. "Suffering is something that often we can see people are afraid of, don't speak about, or are ashamed. Every pain, every war which can be outside or inside, every joy is a reminder within the body to reconnect and align with what the cells really would like to get nurtured with."

Following the author's epiphany and determination to help others live their best life yet, he has gone on to develop and popularize the '10 Point Intuition Cell-Awareness Method,' an analytical reflection technique based on the notion that our intuition guides us to decisions and choices that are beneficial to our body on the cellular/biochemical level.

"The concept of inviting yourself into 'yourcellf' or what I call CELL-awareness from self-awareness teaches that our body intuitively knows what it needs. This knowledge is based on a wealth of life experience and inherited genetic traits, which remain un-rationalized by a person, belong to the realm of the unconscious mind, and form the foundation of some of our basic reflexes and habitual behaviors," explained Ehler. "When I take my attention back home into my body, I better understand the signal I get. When I live with the mind outside of my body, outside of my cells, my attention is not within me. So it is difficult to listen to the wisdom the cells share."

According to Ehler, his '10 Point Intuition Cell-Awareness Method' is a reflection-based approach, consisting of specific steps aimed at rationally analyzing various situations associated with potential conflicts and danger, either internal, interpersonal or environmental. This technique centers on the fact that our intuition is ultimately the guide to our freedom and peace. Unfortunately, he says many people choose to ignore that "gut instinct" and often lack true "CELL-awareness."

"Every action that we take is being written into our tissues," stressed Ehler. "Our cells consume our actions. Intuitive choices support a sustainable outcome, holistic consumption, intuitive choice take the freedom to choose out of the given moment."

In Ehler's debut book, it is our intuition, he writes, that shows us how to be whole. The knowledge from which the book is derived comes from scientific research as well as the author's own personal experiences. The book is filled with 440 pages and 53 chapters that touch on such issues as: forgiveness, anxiety, cellular disorders, childhood shaming, cognitive health, fasting, mental health, genetics, nutrition and more.

"When people read my book, I want them to see that they have the choice to live a joyful life with a peaceful intention on a healthy planet. They have the ability to metabolize past experiences that are still stuck within the system and transform them into a source of wisdom," stated Ehler. "I want them to learn about and integrate their individual biological and holistic constitution, to cultivate choices that nurture the cells rather than consume them."

Ehler's book, Intuition Routine, is available in bookstores as well as on Amazon in both paperback and on Kindle.
