The main exhibit on the company stand will be devices for reproduction of streaming audio content. This rage of innovative products was designed for entertainment centers, bars and restaurants. It allows to create a network of devices connected to the largest online servers of licensed music.

Another innovation from Promwad engineers is a high-end digital set-top box based on the Sigma Designs SMP8654 processor. It was designed to receive IPTV signals, terrestrial (DVB-T) and satellite broadcasting (DVB-S2). Video stream format is MPEG-2/4 H.264. The STB features HD video streaming, media playback from USB or SATA drives, picture slide-show, and personal video recording (PVR) functions. The device supports HDMI, SATA, eSATA, Gigabit Ethernet, S / PDIF, Wi-Fi.

Also the company will present the new low-end solution for digital TV – a DVB-T small form factor STB. Minsk, Belarus -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/12/2010 -- Experts from the Promwad electronics design center have completed the development of a public address and voice evacuation system for integration into the security infrastructure at enterprises. The new device is intended for emergency warning, centralized evacuation management as well as transmission of any other messages, notifications and background music. The customer of this development is one of the market leaders in electronic security systems as well as a manufacturer and distributor of fire and burglar alarms.

Promwad's engineering team used STM32F103 in this project, which is Cortex-M3 MCU by STMicroelectronics. The software is based on OS FreeRTOS. The system also includes such components as a real-time clock and a SD / MMC card for recording and storing of event log, a tamper sensor, a film keyboard and a LED indicator matrix.

The device has been successfully certified for compliance with national standards for electrical safety, dust and moisture resistance as well as nano- and micro-impulse resistance. It should be noted that the new audio system has become one of a number of similar security projects implemented by the experts of the Promwad Innovation Company.
