Lima, Peru -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/22/2019 -- The Mapacho Craft Beer and Restaurant is moving to 701 Calle Koriwakanki from Ave. Imperio de Los Incas 614 after a partner foul play and legal battle forced it to move the restaurant, trademark name and all exclusive recipes.

Mapacho Craft Beer is prepping for a grand reopening on August 21st 2019 in Machu Picchu, Aguas Calientes, couple blocks from the old location. The restaurant specializes in Peruvian dishes like lomo saltado, ceviche and pisco sours, and fine local crafter beer.

Owner Uriel Huaman said business partners come in all shapes and sizes, from complainers to reluctant communicators to outright liars like in my case. "My partner literally kick me out after I have requested to see the accounting books from previous months", he said.

Mapacho's new location at 701 Calle Koriwakanki. replaces Petit Paris Restaurant, an acclaimed Machu Picchu joint that opened in Aguas Calientes in September 2016.

The name Mapacho is an Amazonian tobacco plant is also "considered sacred medicine," according to the Amazon's people.

The family-owned restaurant opened in 2017 on Machu Picchu's Aguas Calientes town.

"We are extremely excited, because we feel at home in this neighborhood," Uriel said. "We are determined to keep our customers happy and bring them a piece of crafted Peruvian beer through our service, atmosphere and delicious cuisine."

Among the other items on the new menu are things like burgers, soups, salads and steaks. Peruvian specialties will include the Lomo Saltado, marinated fish (with leche de tigre), Cebiche, Chicken Causa, salads and soups, and local crafted beer.
