Remembering 9/11 Through a Survivor's Eyes in His Book on Journey from Survival to Recovery

In Amazon.com bestseller, “Pentagon Prayer,” Dan Holdridge shares his personal experience on 9/11/01 and how he survived our nation’s worst tragedy while learning his purpose of life.

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/13/2010 -- September 12, 2010 yesterday marked the 9th anniversary of the tragedy that united our nation and opened our eyes. "You don't have to live through a terrorist attack to learn from one," writes Dan Holdridge in the first major memoir written by a survivor of the events of 9/11 at the Pentagon. In this recollection of his heroic escape and road to healing, Dan challenges his readers to appreciate the life they are living right now, while appreciating the people around them for the contributions they made. His book defies the status quo by claiming that real success is found by living in humility while giving gratitude. He paints a remarkable picture of family, country, and appreciation while helping his readers find an answer to the most important question: "Why am I here?"

Pentagon Prayer – Story of a 9/11 Survivor by Dan Holdridge will be available in trade paperback (ISBN 978-1-933918-58-7) by Blooming Twig Books and can be found at major retailers such as Amazon.com, Inc. The publisher was so overrun by requests for the book that they are running their second printing of the title only a week after release. About Dan Holdridge
On September 11th, 2001, Dan's life almost ended when he was injured in the terrorist attack on the Pentagon. Almost recovered physically, Dan is currently the CEO of his family business but also dedicates his time speaking to people across the country about his experience that day, what helped him heal and how he became an even stronger person than ever before. He has close ties to the USDA and the National 4-H Organization, as well as numerous universities and corporations. Although he still experiences many physical after-effects of the 9/11 attack, his approach to "appreciating" everyone around him has given him a new lease on life.

Brad Szollose, internet pioneer and excutive, releases his book on novel type of leadership in today's rapidly changing business environment.
Brad Szollose, co-founder of the first dot-com agency to go public, explains Liquid Leadership - the management style to guide a multigenerational workforce in a competitive landscape.

It is time for Corporate America to step into the 21st century of Management - Gone is the old model of top-down hierarchy. A competitive landscape that is now global, a glut of information, a bumpy economy and a workforce that is young – and a little bratty – is forcing companies to rethink their approach to management. In Liquid Leadership, Brad Szollose speaks from 30 years of entrepreneurial and board room experience when he discusses how to integrate a diverse set of people into creative, cooperative, productive teams. The book, to be released on October 10th, gives managers the tools they need to nurture and lead a vastly heterogeneous workforce—from the Gen Y freelancer to the Baby Boomer in the corner office.

Liquid Leadership will be available in hardback (ISBN 978-1-60264-516-5) on http://www.bloomingtwig.com, http://www.amazon.com, or http://www.barnesandnoble.com.
