Where the Australian Water Markets Are Heading with Innovation at the Helm

Singapore, Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/31/2022 -- Digital transformation is a theme in many sectors today - including in Australia's water and wastewater market. Innovation is driving change across the board, although many of the bigger enterprises are moving at a faster pace thanks to more sizable budgets allocated to acceleration. One of the major factors driving this desire for increased digital transformation is the need to optimise performance and efficiency. Reducing non-revenue water loss and investing in better customer service are also much easier to support with the right digital infrastructure in place. This innovation will also ensure a sustainable water supply for the future in Australia, as well as improvements in workplace safety and the way that water and wastewater services are delivered. Some of the opportunities that organisations are already looking to take advantage of through innovation include decentralised water systems, more recycling, resource recovery from wastewater and water-energy linkages. With innovation at the helm the Australian water markets are primed for ongoing transformation.

Construction jobs will have a key role to place in supporting the innovative expansion of the Australian water markets. Whether it is improving productivity or innovating new ways to tackle issues such as reducing non-revenue water loss, robust team building can make all the difference to companies in this field. LVI Associates is a leading specialist in infrastructure and engineering recruitment, providing expert support in fields such as construction jobs, as well as forensics, water and renewable energy. The team has a broad range of resources to work with, including a database of more than a million mid-to-senior professionals and a network of contacts with hiring managers at organisations globally. As a result, the firm has become a go-to for talented people keen to take a career-defining next step and organisations seeking to recruit for resilience. By using a range of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions, the firm is able to design options for every hiring need.

Being a leading light in recruitment for vital fields like construction jobs in the Asia Pacific region is something that LVI Associates has worked hard to build up over the years. However, that's not where the firm's influence ends. In addition, the team in Singapore is also part of a 1,000+ strong worldwide workforce that significantly extends LVI Associates' global reach. Plus, the firm is the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of world-leading companies as part of the Phaidon International group, which operates across 6 countries. Key to sustaining relationships on such a worldwide scale is the internal investment that the business makes in its own people. Consultants are trained on an ongoing basis and work with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies. As well as construction jobs, there are many different roles available via the firm today, including Director of Project Finance, Urban Planner and Bridge Project Manager.

"The pandemic hasn't stopped infrastructure projects within the APAC region. The challenge that we are seeing companies face is to secure the best talent," said Kayleigh Regan, Associate Director at LVI Associates, APAC. She went on to say, "With travel restrictions and visa processes, the talent pool for renewable energy and water infrastructure becomes even tighter. While projects still need to go on in each city, 2022 will be a busy year to help all our clients secure top talent on a global scale".

Renewable Energy in Japan Sees Growth, with New Forecasts for 2022 and Coming 5 Years

Singapore, Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/31/2022 -- Renewable energy is a thriving market and all the signs indicate that the next few years are going to be incredibly positive for the sector globally. Take Japan, for example, where the market for renewable energy is forecast to achieve a CAGR of 11.2% between 2022 and 2027. Japan does face some challenges when it comes to renewable energy, not least a lack of grid infrastructure in many rural areas that could restrict the size of the market. However, there are many opportunities too, particularly as the impact of the pandemic begins to lift. Governmental policies tend to be supportive towards renewable energy in Japan and there are incentives and tax breaks for people who install solar panels, for example. Plus, increasing awareness of environmental issues is having a big impact on how pressing the need for more renewable energy provision has become. As a result, the growth forecasts for the next five years are impressive.

LVI Associates is a team with a wealth of experience in renewable energy. In countries like Japan where there are plenty of obstacles to overcome in order to build strong foundations for renewable energy provision, having a robust workforce provides a way for many organisations to continue to move forward through the challenges. LVI Associates has many years of experience in infrastructure and engineering recruitment, not just when it comes to renewable energy roles but also hiring for areas such as transportation, forensics and environmental. With a database of more than a million mid-to-senior professionals, the firm has extensive resources to help businesses build teams. Plus, the team at LVI Associates is well connected to hiring managers at a broad spectrum of enterprises, from innovative start-ups to well established brands - they are the first to hear of opportunities for talented people keen to take career-defining next steps. Thanks to a combination of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions, the team can create options for all hiring challenges.

LVI Associates is a very visible presence for hiring for renewable energy roles in the Asia Pacific region and has a well-established presence in this part of the world. This is in addition to being integrated into a broad global network. The team in Singapore is part of a 1,000+ worldwide workforce and LVI Associates is the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of world-leading companies as part of the Phaidon International group, which operates across 6 countries. It's vital for all the team to stay on top of the evolution and innovation that is taking place in such a fast-moving sector like renewable energy. The team at LVI Associates is trained on an ongoing basis and consultants work with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies. There are many roles available at the firm today, including Project Manager, AV Design Consultant and Client Lead Manager Geo-Environmental.

"The pandemic hasn't stopped infrastructure projects within the APAC region.
Singapore Construction Demand Projected to Hit $32Bn

Singapore, Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/27/2022 -- There have been many challenges for the construction sector over the past couple of years thanks to the pandemic. From problems surrounding labour shortages, rising costs as well as cash flow issues it has not been an easy time. However, the outlook for construction jobs - and for the sector in general - is upbeat with demand projected to be between $27Bn and $32Bn over the course of 2022. This is according to figures from the Building and Construction Authority. This increase in demand is going to be good news for a sector that has seen plenty of disruption since 2020. Around 2,200 construction companies ceased operations last year, a figure that is comparable to the number of companies that went out of business between 2018 and 2020. Support and relief measures have been put in place to help construction businesses tread a path to recovery - and to take advantage of the new spikes in demand that will help enterprises start to thrive once again.

Construction jobs is just one area of expertise that the team at LVI Associates has nurtured over the years. The team also has a wealth of experience when it comes to securing business-critical talent in other fields too, such as forensics, water, renewable energy, transportation and environmental. The increase in demand in Singapore construction is going to create many opportunities for both local and international businesses - and LVI Associates is well equipped to help organisations take advantage of the favourable conditions. The firm has built up a database of more than a million mid-to-senior professionals over the years, for example, as well as a network of contacts with hiring managers across the industry. LVI Associates has experience working with the hiring requirements of every type of business, from large conglomerates to innovative start-ups. Thanks to a mix of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions, options for every recruitment need can be found.

There is no doubt that LVI Associates is well established in the Asia Pacific region and the firm has extensive reach here. However, that isn't the extent of what the firm has to offer in terms of geographic network. The team in Singapore is part of a 1,000+ worldwide workforce and LVI Associates is the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of world-leading companies as part of the Phaidon International group, which operates across 6 countries. In a field such as construction jobs it has been vital for the firm to have access to such broad reach to support both candidates and companies. LVI Associates values its own team highly and invests regularly in its people. Consultants are trained on an ongoing basis and work with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies. As well as construction jobs there are currently many other roles available via the firm today, including Filtration Sales Manager, Solar Project Manager and Technical Sales Support Engineer.

"The pandemic hasn't stopped infrastructure projects within the APAC region. The challenge that we are seeing companies face is to secure the best talent," said Kayleigh Regan, Associate Director at LVI Associates, APAC.
Airbus Signs Deal for Hydrogen Hub to Boost Industrial Engineering Sector

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/14/2022 -- As a cutting-edge location for industrial engineering jobs, it's no surprise that Singapore is leading the way when it comes to innovation, such as climate-neutral aviation. The first steps have now been taken towards a hydrogen hub and decarbonised aviation industry for Singapore. A cooperation agreement has been put into place between Airbus and key players from the city state's aviation sectors - including Changi Aviation Group and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore - that will study how to bring this climate neutral vision for the city to life. This will include investigating the ways in which aircraft at existing airports can be supplied with hydrogen. The collaboration reflects the need for a cross-party approach that includes manufacturers, airports, energy providers and airlines. Switching to hydrogen will not only have an impact on reducing air emissions but also those being generated on the ground in relation to air traffic. As well as Singapore, Airbus has signed similar agreements with airports in Paris and Seoul.

LVI Associates brings vital expertise to a field like industrial engineering jobs and projects such as the Hydrogen Hub. The firm has extensive experience when it comes to securing business-critical talent for engineering and infrastructure across many different key areas. This includes renewable energy, forensics, water and environmental and transportation roles, as well as industrial engineering jobs. Over the years the firm has supported a broad spectrum of different businesses looking to recruit for resilience and growth, from agile start-ups to global brand names. The team has also become a go-to for talented people keen to take a career-defining next step in this exciting and competitive field. Today, LVI Associates has a database of more than a million mid-to-senior professionals and connections with hiring managers across the industry, ensuring that the team has all the resources necessary to make positive connections happen. A combination of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions enables the team to create hiring options for every need.

One of the benefits of working with LVI Associates is that the firm has extensive reach. It is a well-established presence in the region and also part of a global workforce that numbers 1,000+. Also crucial is the fact that LVI Associates is the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of world-leading companies as part of the Phaidon International group, which operates across 6 countries. This combination of local knowledge and insight, as well as extensive global connections, is a key advantage for both clients, companies and candidates looking for industrial engineering jobs across borders. The team at LVI Associates is a vital part of the firm's success - consultants are trained on an ongoing basis and work with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies. There are many different roles available with the firm today, including Project Manager (Solar), Project Service Engineer, Application Specialist (Water) and Business Development Manager (Water Projects).

"The pandemic hasn't stopped infrastructure projects within the APAC region. The challenge that we are seeing companies face is to secure the best talent," said Kayleigh Regan, Associate Director at LVI Associates. Increasing global urbanisation means that mega-infrastructure projects, such as those for waste or utility services, are now often being built underground, making these skills absolutely vital to future development. Particularly in a country like Singapore where land is scarce, future projects - such as rail and road lines - will continue to go deeper underground in order to help make better use of above-ground spaces and nurture natural environments.

The collaboration between LTA and SIT is just one example of the investment currently being poured into future infrastructure projects that solve the problem of a lack of land availability. LVI Associates has worked with many such partnerships and organisations seeking bright talent to fill civil engineering jobs that can innovate to help solve the most pressing current issues and create a better future. The firm's expertise includes a broad range of fields, including hiring for technology, renewable energy, transportation, water and environmental and building services. With a database of more than a million mid-to-senior professionals, LVI Associates is ideally positioned to help businesses find the best and boldest talent. Plus, the firm has contacts with key employers all over the industry, making it the perfect partner for talented people looking to take a career-defining next step. A combination of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions mean there are options for every hiring need.

When it comes to securing business critical talent for civil engineering jobs, LVI Associates has a wealth of experience in the Asia Pacific region, as well as globally. The firm has a well-established history in the region and the Singapore team is also part of a 1,000+ worldwide workforce that provides a strong base for extensive global reach. This is cemented by the firm being the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of world-leading companies as part of the Phaidon International group, which operates across 6 countries. Key to everything that the firm has been able to achieve is the investments made internally. Consultants at LVI Associates work with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies and receive regular ongoing training. As well as civil engineering jobs there are many other roles available via LVI Associates today, including HSE Manager, Senior Control Systems Manager and Health and Safety Director.

"The pandemic hasn't stopped infrastructure projects within the APAC region. The challenge that we are seeing companies face is to secure the best talent," said Tom Marks, Associate Director at LVI Associates, APAC. "With travel restrictions and visa processes, the talent pool for renewable energy and water infrastructure becomes even tighter. While projects still need to go on in each city, 2022 will be a busy year to help all our clients secure top talent on a global scale." further commented by Kayleigh Regan, Associate Director at LVI Associates.

Future Bright for Singapore Industrial Engineering

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/10/2022 -- Prospects for industrial engineering jobs in Singapore look set to be bright once again as growth forecasts for the sector are positive for 2022. Predictions are that investment activity is going to be pushed forward by the demand for specialised, high-quality warehousing and manufacturing facilities that can meet the increasingly complex supply chain demands of many businesses today. This follows on from a positive year in 2021, when 12.8% year-on-year growth in the manufacturing sector was driven by expansions in all clusters, including precision engineering. There has also been a significant expansion in the industry, as well as shifts towards evolving areas of the sector. For example, one of the biggest moves during 2021 was made by Labcorp, an American life sciences company, which established a bioanalytical lab facility in Singapore. Siltronic, a German multinational, was another key player, establishing a new $3 billion water manufacturing facility in the city-state.

With industrial engineering jobs thriving in Singapore, LVI Associates is providing key support to organisations and individuals looking to contribute to the forecast growth in 2022. With rent and price increases set to be between 3% and 5% for the year, now is the time for many organisations to get established in Singapore, or to take steps towards further growth. The team at LVI Associates is ideally positioned to provide expert support with expertise across a broad spectrum of hiring fields, including technology, transportation, renewable technology, water and environmental and building services. LVI Associates has worked with innovative start-ups, as well as international brands keen to find the right people to make drive progress. The firm is also a valuable partner to ambitious individuals looking to take a career-defining next step. Thanks to a combination of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions, the team at LVI Associates can create options for every type of hiring need.

Industrial engineering jobs continue to multiply, not just in Singapore but across the Asia Pacific region, and globally too. LVI Associates has a strong local base in this part of the world and the team is also integrated into a 1,000+-strong worldwide workforce, providing a unique international dimension. It is also the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of world-leading companies as part of the Phaidon International group, which operates across 6 countries. This dual regional and global perspective is vital in a field like industrial engineering jobs where borderless recruitment is key to making the right connections happen. Also essential is insightful and energetic support, something that the firm consistently delivers thanks to the investments made internally. Consultants receive regular ongoing training and work with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies at all times. In addition to industrial engineering jobs there are also many other roles available via the firm today, including Chemical/Gas Manager, Data Centre IT Manager and Civil Engineer.

Singapore LTA Awards Civil Engineering Tunnel Contract Worth $571M

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/26/2022 -- Singapore's Land Transport Authority has awarded a civil contract for the construction of CR1, which is the city state's eighth MRT line. When CR1 is finished it will include 12 stations, from Bright Hill to Aviation Park and run for a total of 29km. Part of the reason for the expansion is to support a number of key developments currently happening (and due in the near future) in the eastern, north-eastern, and western corridors. It will open up a connection between many major locations, including Jurong Lake District and Changi region. The new contract will create many valuable civil engineering jobs for Singapore and is worth a total of $571 million. Construction could be challenging for this part of the network - soft marine clay is thick here and significant work will be required to strengthen it for safety. Passenger service on the new CR1 is scheduled to start in 2030.

When it comes to civil engineering jobs and sourcing talent for key projects like CS1, LVI Associates is an experienced and well-resourced partner. The firm has extensive expertise in recruiting for a range of civil engineering jobs and has supported organisations in all areas of transportation, renewable energy, technology, water and environmental and building services, as well as many other fields.

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/21/2021 -- Singapore is a key location for industrial engineering and somewhere that innovative talent can thrive. The market here is made up of a wealth of different enterprises focused on creating new opportunities and paths forward where industrial engineering is concerned. Artificial Intelligence is an area that has still to gain much traction across industrial engineering jobs but there are firms in Singapore that are already powered by this powerful tech and seeing significant progress as a result. Across all fields in industrial engineering, advances in technology provide opportunities for existing jobs to be carried out in new ways. Whether that is using cognitive AI to extract and interpret data or developing new processes for manufacturing components such as membranes, there are organisations in Asia Pacific applying the latest innovation to make this happen. There are few other locations where industrial engineering jobs offer so much diversity and growth.

As a key support to those in industrial engineering jobs, LVI Associates is across all progress in this vital field. Staying on top of news and updates is all part of what the firm does, ensuring that both its own team and also the firm's clients are at the cutting edge of new development. This city of architectural and civil engineering marvels is a place of inspiration thanks to the innovative construction all around. For those in civil engineering jobs there are a wealth of opportunities to be part of the progress of the future and to find a way to bring new and exciting growth to Asia Pacific. Vehicular bridges in Singapore are some of the city's most renowned, including the Elgin Bridge, which was built in the 1800s and designed to serve North Bridge Road and South Bridge Road. Benjamin Sheares Bridge is often named as the longest bridge in Singapore and is something of a civil engineering marvel, crossing a distance of 1.8km. The pedestrian Henderson Waves Bridge is one of the highest in the city and also one of the most creative. But all are an inspiration where civil engineering jobs are concerned.

The Move Towards Sustainable Construction Continues

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/18/2021 -- In recent years the focus of building design and operation has switched from trying to insulate humans from nature to attempting to adapt these structures to their natural surroundings. Stricter building codes and the motivation to cut energy costs and wastage have meant that there have been plenty of challenges for those in building services jobs focused on creating more sustainable living environments. Commercial and residential buildings make up around 12% of global greenhouse gas emissions and this is often higher in tropical climates such as Singapore where nature presents more challenges. However, there are already notable pioneers, including the South Beach development which is rated platinum under Singapore's Green Mark Certification Scheme, which means it's capable of 30% more energy savings than a regular building. The desire for more sustainably operating buildings isn't just being driven by cost as, increasingly, shareholders are also beginning to demand that this be taken into account.

LVI Associates is a leading specialist recruitment agency for the infrastructure sector, providing expert support in many different fields, including building services jobs and roles in construction, forensics, transportation and renewable energy. The firm has a well-established presence in the Asia Pacific region, supporting a broad spectrum of businesses, from innovators to international behemoths, and ensuring that talented people are in the right position to take that career-defining next step. The firm combines permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions so that individual options can be tailored to every need. With a database of more than a million mid-to-senior professionals, LVI Associates is well resourced in supporting infrastructure businesses keen to recruit the talent behind our everyday lives. Contacts at organisations across the sector ensure that the right connections can be made to help the industry, and the enterprises within it, develop and grow.

One of the advantages of working with a firm like LVI Associates is the strength of knowledge and experience in the region. This is combined with a broad international perspective that comes from being part of a 1,000+ strong international workforce. In addition, LVI Associates is also the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of world-leading companies as part of the Phaidon International group, which operates across 6 countries. These vital connections enable the firm to facilitate effective hiring across many areas, including building services jobs. Also key is the strength of the team at LVI Associates. Consultants are trained on an ongoing basis and work with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies so that they are always at the cutting edge. As well as building services jobs there are many other roles available through the firm today, including Quality Engineer, Asset Manager [Renewable Energy], Business Development Manager [Water Projects] and Membrane Field Service Engineer.

"Like for many sectors, 2020 marked a defining moment for recruitment.
Learning from the Previous Failures to Avoid Future Disasters

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/18/2021 -- While Singapore has thankfully remained out of the headlines for structural failures since the collapse of the Hotel New World in 1986, the Asia Pacific region in general has not been so lucky. We have continued to see structures fall - and people die - which has underlined the need for those in forensics jobs to focus on finding the causes in order to prevent disasters happening again. In July this year, for example, 17 people died when a building collapsed in the city of Suzhou in China. Forensic examination of the building after the event found that the collapse was the result of structural alterations that had been made by the owner. While the hotel used to have just three floors, over the years, additional levels have been added and it was this that was found to be at the heart of the disaster.

Forensics jobs are vital to ensuring the ongoing safety of those who use buildings on a regular basis by learning from the mistakes of the past. LVI Associates works with those who specialise in this area, making connections at organisations looking to recruit the best and brightest talent. The firm also provides hiring support across many other areas of the infrastructure sector, including renewable energy, building services, transportation and water and environmental. A combination of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions creates options for every hiring need, whether that is short or long-term. LVI Associates has established a database of more than a million mid-to-senior professionals over the years and contacts with businesses across the infrastructure industry. As a result, today the firm works with a wealth of talented people as well as enterprises that range from innovative small businesses to internationally renowned brands. It is an obvious go-to for organisations keen to hire for resilience and expansion, as well as individuals looking to take that career-defining next step in areas such as forensics jobs.

In addition to extensive expertise in the Asia Pacific region, LVI Associates also brings a unique global perspective to the table. The team in Singapore is part of a 1,000+ strong international workforce that covers many different locations across the globe. It is also the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of world-leading companies as part of the Phaidon International group, which operates across 6 countries. Given the international nature of the infrastructure sector, this kind of dual regional and worldwide reach is a vital part of the resources that LVI Associates can provide. The internal team is also a huge asset - consultants are trained on an ongoing basis and work with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies so that they are always at the cutting edge. Alongside forensics jobs there are also many other roles available via LVI Associates today, including Senior I&C Engineer, Operations Engineer [Waste & Water], Senior Process Integration Engineer and Technical Chemical Sales Manager.

"Like for many sectors, 2020 marked a defining moment for recruitment. Challenged by uncertainty, but unwavering in our commitment to our clients, we have endured through 2021 with a sense of duty to clients and candidates", commented Andrew McNeilis, Managing Director at LVI Associates. He went on to say, "as we reflect on the challenges of virtually securing and retaining talent, we're inspired by a team who have demonstrated a remarkable ability to adapt and continue to help all our clients secure top talent on a global scale."

Construction Sector COVID Relief Extended Until December 2021

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/13/2021 -- COVID support for the construction sector in Singapore was due to come to an end on Sept 30th this year. However, with an extension in place until 31st December the sector looks set to be insulated against the ongoing impact of the pandemic at least until the end of the year. Lost construction jobs, an increase in the cost of foreign manpower and obstacles to contract performance as a result of COVID-19 are just some issues that have arisen since the start of the pandemic. Government relief has not only made it possible for the construction sector in Singapore to survive but also to look at how it could thrive in a more COVID-resilient future. Among other things that means reframing embedded approaches to risk management, dispute resolution and contract negotiation, for example switching to a fairer risk allocation in contracts and rethinking the reliance in the industry on standard form contracts.

LVI Associates has provided vital support for those in construction jobs throughout the pandemic, working with talented individuals keen to take career-defining next steps, as well as a broad spectrum of organisations, from forward-thinking start-ups to international brands. The firm has extensive experience in a range of key fields, including construction jobs and hiring for building services, and renewable energy. A combination of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions provides a wide selection of options for businesses keen to find a new way forward, hiring for resilience and growth no matter what the economic conditions. With extensive experience of the construction sector in Singapore - and the whole of the Asia Pacific region - as well as a network of connections at key businesses and a database of more than a million mid-to-senior professionals the firm is well placed to support effective hiring for client enterprises across the board.

Vital to the success that LVI Associates has enjoyed in the region has been the focus on internal talent. The firm invests heavily in its own team, ensuring that consultants are trained on a regular basis and always have best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies to work with. LVI Associates is also able to bring a unique international dimension to its reach. The firm is a well-established presence in the region and also part of a global workforce that numbers 1,000+. It is also the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of world-leading companies as part of the Phaidon International group, which operates across 6 countries. Talented individuals seeking to move ahead in construction jobs - as well as a range of other areas - can find a wealth of new opportunities via LVI Associates. There are currently many different roles available through the firm, including Senior I&C Engineer, Operations Engineer [Waste & Water], Pumps Service Manager, Segment Sales Manager [Building Services] and Technical Chemical Sales Manager.
"Like for many sectors, 2020 marked a defining moment for recruitment.
Building Services Jobs and the Green Buildings Revolution

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/13/2021 -- 'Green buildings' has become a bona fide buzzword over the past year as the drive towards sustainable construction and building services continues to gather momentum. The ethos behind green buildings is to help reduce carbon emissions and also minimise operating costs so there is a dual benefit for all those areas where this becomes the dominant approach. In Singapore, investment in green buildings has been increasing and the city has arguably been leading the way in sustainable development for some time. This is particularly important, as some research estimates that buildings are responsible for around 90% of total electricity consumption and 60% of carbon emissions every year. The greener buildings are, the more effective decarbonisation can be. The construction sector has been fundamental to the climate action plan designed to help reduce carbon intensity by up to 36% by 2030 and green buildings - those in existence now and those yet to be built - are going to have a major role to play in making that happen.

Building services jobs in Singapore are already being heavily influenced by the shift towards greater sustainability. LVI Associates is a leading specialist recruiter with a wealth of experience in this part of the world. The firm has extensive experience in the Asia Pacific region, working with a broad spectrum of businesses, from agile startups to international corporations. The firm has established a database of more than a million mid-to-senior professionals over the years as well as key contacts with organisations internationally. Working with a combination of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions has allowed LVI Associates to help create options for organisations, even throughout challenging recent times. The firm operates across a number of different specialist fields, including building services, construction, forensics, renewable energy, transportation, and water & environmental.. Streamlining the process of recruitment ensures that, for both businesses and individuals, there is the peace of mind of knowing that hiring is in safe hands.

LVI Associates is a specialist recruiter with experience in building services jobs, as well as many other areas, both in the Asia Pacific region and internationally too. The firm is able to boast a wealth of local experience that is combined with being part of an international workforce of 1000+ operating across 6 countries. It is also the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of world-leading companies as part of the Phaidon International group. This unique mix of local insight and international reach and connections is vital in an area such as building services jobs where global perspectives can make all the difference. Consultants at the firm are highly trained, able to offer specialist insights into areas such as building services jobs and working with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies. As well as building services jobs there are many other roles available via LVI Associates, including Construction Management Lead, Operations Engineer and Water Infrastructure Project Manager.

"Like for many sectors, 2020 marked a defining moment for recruitment.

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/05/2021 -- According to ING bank, three of Asia's major economies are likely to spend upwards of $12 trillion in an effort to achieve net-zero carbon emissions within the transportation sector. China, Japan, and South Korea are the main producers of carbon dioxide emissions within the Asia Pacific region. The plans encompass the capacity for governments to provide new fleets of electric cars, electrified rail systems, hydrogen-powered lorries, sustainably fueled airplanes and ammonia-burning ships in an effort to reach net-zero carbon emissions across the three economic powers by 2060. This significant investment is set to produce a plethora of new job openings across the region, making it an exciting time to explore the career opportunities available as the green revolution takes place across Asia Pacific.

LVI Associates secures business critical talent in engineering and infrastructure, including key transportation jobs in Asia Pacific. The firm is a well-established presence in the region and also part of a global workforce that numbers 1,000+.
Asia Pacific Lead the Way in the Development of Offshore Wind Projects

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/04/2021 -- Offshore wind farms are a burgeoning trend in the Asia Pacific region. In fact, 46% of global offshore wind farms are being hosted in this part of the world. The pace of development continues to accelerate as countries across the region start to invest more in this incredible, renewable power source. According to figures from the Global Wind Energy Council, the number of new offshore wind farms worldwide has increased by an average of 24% every year since 2010. Even though 2020 created obstacles in the form of the pandemic, additional global capacity was added during those 12 months and generating capacity grew by just over 30%. However, while many areas of the world are starting to focus more on these offshore projects, it's the Asia Pacific region that is the real powerhouse. Proof of this comes from the sheer volume of projects being created all the time, including Shell's most recent plan for a 'two-headed' floating wind farm that will power a million South Korean homes.

As a renewable energy recruiter in Asia Pacific, LVI Associates has a finger on the pulse of all the most recent developments across the engineering and infrastructure industry. The firm has extensive history in this part of the world and hiring expertise that spans all aspects of the sector, including building services, forensics, construction, transportation and power.
Green Ammonia Projects Create Renewable Energy Infrastructure Opportunities

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/27/2021 -- Innovation and growth in renewable energy is moving at a fast pace today with new projects springing up all over the Asia Pacific region. One of the most notable is the search for green ammonia, a gas that is widely used to make agricultural fertilisers. Green ammonia has the advantage of being a 100% renewable and carbon free process, meaning that there are currently many enterprises exploring the possibilities for creating it. Origin Energy Ltd (an Australian electricity and natural gas company) and Mitsui O.S.K Lines, a major Japanese shipping giant are joining forces to look for opportunities to create green ammonia in Australia for the purposes of export. The focus is on a joint development of the supply chain with the goal of supplying key downstream markets from 2026. Origin Energy is also looking at a number of other export-scale green hydrogen opportunities across Australia. These projects are driving Asia Pacific renewable energy infrastructure recruitment and creating a wealth of opportunities for talented people to step up and move forward in their careers.

Working with LVI Associates is a simple way to tap into the spike in activity in Asia Pacific renewable energy infrastructure recruitment. The firm is a well-established specialist in this field, providing high level hiring support not just in renewables but also other key infrastructure fields including building services, construction, forensics, transportation and water and environmental. The firm was established in 2012 and has built up a presence in Asia Pacific renewable energy infrastructure recruitment that makes it the go to for organisations looking to expand and for talented people who are keen to take a career-defining next step. Visibility in the Asia Pacific region is complemented by the firm's international reach - LVI Associates is the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of industry-leading enterprises as part of the Phaidon International group. This dual local and global perspective is a considerable advantage in an area such as infrastructure where opportunities are constantly created in locations all over the world.

A combination of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions provide opportunities for enterprises to reshape and futureproof workforces. LVI Associates has established a database of more than a million mid-to-senior professions and has extensive connections with organisations across infrastructure, from small firms seeking to disrupt and innovate to international brands focused on profitability and growth. Consultants are trained on an ongoing basis to support this goal and all work with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies so as to be able to provide an exceptional service. That continued to be the case during the pandemic conditions of the past year when the firm adapted to offer remote hiring and onboarding that continued to support firms across the infrastructure sector. Today, there are many roles available via LVI Associates, including Sales Manager [Wastewater], Process Manager [Petrochemical], Proposal Engineering Manager, Lead Application Engineer and Segment Sales Manager [Building Services].

"Like many sectors, 2020 marked a defining moment for recruitment. Challenged by uncertainty, but unwavering in our commitment to our clients, we enter 2021 with a sense of duty to clients and candidates", commented Andrew McNeilis, Managing Director at LVI Associates. He went on to say, "as we reflect on the challenges of virtually securing and retaining talent, we're inspired by a team who have demonstrated a remarkable ability to adapt and continue to help all our clients secure top talent on a global scale."

Need for Energy Security Creating Career Opportunities in Renewable Energy Across Asia Pacific

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/27/2021 -- The vulnerability of energy supply is something that countries like Singapore understand only too well. There is now a pressing need to establish energy security and this is creating many renewable energy career opportunities across Asia Pacific thanks to the potential of sources such as wind and solar power. Singapore is a country that has a large carbon footprint (for its size), contributing 0.11% of global emissions despite being only 0.0005% of the world's land. 95% of Singapore's power needs are currently met by natural gas and the country is dependent on fossil fuels - although not for much longer. Diversifying power sources to create energy security is a key priority in Singapore today, particularly by focusing on developing solar capacity and other low-carbon sources. In addition, the Singapore government has committed to halving absolute carbon levels by 2050. All this points to a surge in alternative energy markets and many more renewable energy career opportunities across Asia Pacific in the years to come.

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/03/2021 -- Australia is a country with one asset that is particularly useful when it comes to renewable energy: a lot of space. However, this has not been one of the country's top priorities - until now. Earlier this year, renewable energy zones and dispatchable energy storage were listed as "high priority initiatives'' by Infrastructure Australia for the first time. This has created an increased urgency with respect to Australia renewable energy infrastructure recruitment and a wealth of opportunities for those who are looking to advance in this area. Infrastructure Australia has stated that there is a need for "significant new grid-scale, renewable energy generators to replace retiring thermal generation facilities". It has highlighted that there is an especially urgent need for the country to prioritise establishing new renewable energy zones for large-scale wind, solar and hydro power and to ensure that this remains a focus going forward.
Great Investments in Renewable Energy Across Asia Pacific

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/24/2021 -- Investments in renewable energy in the Asia Pacific region are set to double to $1.3 trillion by the end of the decade, eclipsing fossil fuel power expenditures, which are forecasted to decline by approximately 25%. This figure signifies that by 2030 renewables will account for more than half of all power investments across the region.
Singaporean Innovation Is Taking Sunlight Underground

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/27/2021 -- Sunlight is something that you wouldn't expect to find underground. However, researchers from Nanyang Technical University (NTU) in Singapore have managed to do just that. Their innovation is designed to harvest sunlight from locations above ground and then relay it to underground spaces that are reliant on artificial light. This is made possible as a result of design that mimics the way a magnifying glass works when it is used to focus sunlight on a specific area. A prototype of the device that can be used to do this has been created by the team at NTU, made from an acrylic ball, computer-chip assisted motors and one plastic fibre optic cable. The idea was to bring the innovation to life using materials that would be simple to replicate and which would be easily available off the shelf. The way the device works is to make the acrylic ball a solar concentrator so that parallel rays of sunlight form at sharp focus opposite it. The unique invention could be transformative in future building design.

The Built Environment Sector in Singapore

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/27/2021 -- In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the built environment sector in Singapore has appealed to the government to allow it to bring in more foreign workers. Currently, around 1,000 workers are returning home every week to family, creating challenging conditions for the local industry. The government recently took steps to allow construction firms more temporary flexibility to bring in workers from China. However, it's thought that this will not make the kind of impact that is really required as Chinese workers are often specialised in specific trades, rather than being general construction workers. Many can also command higher salaries in China and so there is little motivation to travel abroad to work. Although representatives of the built environment sector have acknowledged that there is a need for border controls to protect locals it has also appealed to the government to find new ways to allow for the recruitment of foreign workers in larger numbers.

Established in 2012, LVI Associates has a wealth of expertise in construction recruitment that extends to other key areas of the infrastructure sector, including building services, transportation, water and environmental and technology. The firm has created a team of specialists with an in-depth knowledge of the local market for infrastructure recruitment, working with a broad spectrum of client businesses, from agile start-ups to internationally renowned names in infrastructure. Over the years LVI Associates has also nurtured a database of skilled mid-to-senior professionals from across the sector, acknowledging that people are at the heart of the permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions that the firm can create for clients. The vision is to streamline the process of construction recruitment to make it simple and effective and to create peace of mind for all those involved. Solving the key challenge of business-critical talent is going to be essential for pandemic recovery across the infrastructure industry and LVI Associates is the ideal partner.

When it comes to team building this can take time and specialist expertise, which is why firms across the infrastructure sector choose LVI Associates. The firm has in-depth knowledge of the local industry and consultants receive ongoing training to constantly develop knowledge and insight. Working with best-in-class recruitment technology and strategies ensures consistent service delivery and the team is fully committed to exceptional results, even in pandemic conditions. As well as extensive understanding of the market for construction recruitment - and wider infrastructure hiring - in Singapore the firm has a wide-ranging international perspective that includes being the recruitment partner of choice to hundreds of industry-leading enterprises as part of the Phaidon International group. There are many exciting roles available via LVI Associates in Singapore, including: Investment Analyst/Vice President, Area Sales Manager [Light Industry], Senior Environmental Consultant [Water Management], Regional Membrane Sales Manager, VP Design Civil and Proposal Engineering Manager.

Water & Environmental Careers Throughout Singapore

Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/19/2021 -- Water scarcity affects numerous areas of the globe and today it still remains one of the largest global risks and challenges in terms of potential impact over the next decade as the Earth's population continues to shift towards urbanisation. Furthermore, the World Economic Forum (WEF) has indicated that 97% of the globe's water supply is salt water, whereas the additional 0.3% is fresh water located across lakes, rivers, streams, ponds, and swamps. According to the WEF all other water is held in glaciers or underneath the ground. Water resource management, recycling and conservation solutions have previously and still remain an integral sector when it comes to human well-being, health and global developments. Singapore is considered to be one of the most water-stressed countries in the world. It is heavily dependent on rainfall due to the lack of natural water resources, and limited land is available for water storage facilities.

As the global demand for clean water continues to rise, so too does the interest in alternatives to conventional water conservation and purification. One method, NEWater, has already been put in place in Singapore for over a decade. Singapore lacks natural fresh water resources due to its land scarcity. To fight the problem of water scarcity, in 1998, Singapore began the Water Reclamation Study. This project was meant to find whether purified recycled water, or NEWater, could be used to meet Singapore's water needs. In 2002, Singapore set up two NEWater plants. Today, it supplies water to 40% of Singapore's population. The significance water plays in employment cannot be overlooked. UNESCO estimates three out of four jobs that make up the global workforce are either heavily or moderately dependent on water. Director-general, Irina Bokova, argues that "water and jobs are inextricably linked on various levels, whether we look at them from an economic, environmental or social perspective".

LVI Associates was established in 2012 and has a strong, specialist base in Singapore as a leading recruiter for the water and environmental industry. The firm has worked with organisations and individuals across Asia Pacific, identifying opportunities for connection and collaboration and facilitating a fresh approach to hiring in this crucial and life-changing sector. This has involved supporting a broad spectrum of businesses, from agile start-ups to globally renowned names in the water and environmental world, as well as talented people from all over the region, and beyond. Expertise at LVI Associates in Singapore covers a broad field within water and environmental, including renewable energy, transportation and technology. Consultants acquire a wealth of knowledge of the local market and receive in-depth training on an ongoing basis, as well as working with best-in-class technologies and strategies to deliver a range of permanent, contract and multi-hire solutions for clients. Areas such as water and environmental as well as renewable energy remain one of the fastest growing parts of the industry and have continued to expand despite the pandemic conditions of the past 12 months. LVI Associates has been able to pivot and adapt to provide ongoing support to solve the key challenge of business-critical talent in an industry that has the potential to change and improve all our lives.

Building the right team takes dedication and expertise and this is something that LVI Associates in Singapore has enabled clients all over Asia Pacific to do, as well as working with talented people with the vision to create change. The firm's in-depth local knowledge of the market in Singapore is supported by a significant international connection - as part of the Phaidon International Group the firm is the go-to recruitment partner for 70+ world-leading companies. Furthermore, the firm has established practices and processes that reimagine recruitment and provides peace of mind to candidates and clients that their recruitment process is in safe and expert hands. Even throughout the disruption of the past year, the firm has continued to be a leading specialist recruiter in the water and environmental sector throughout Asia Pacific. Today, there are many career-defining roles available via LVI Associates in Singapore, including: Water/Wastewater Leader, Stormwater – Technical Business Development, Water Infrastructure – Project Manager, Environmental Director, Senior Environmental Engineer and Project Manager – Land Development to name just a few. From individuals looking to take a big next step in their careers to organisations keen to recruit for resilience, innovation and growth, the team at LVI Associates in Singapore opens the door to all opportunity across the water and environmental industry.

"2020 was a year of challenge for many organisations in the recruitment industry. From ongoing uncertainty to the need to adapt to a more virtual environment for securing and retaining talent, there has been a lot to consider," commented Luis Rolim, Global Marketing Director at LVI Associates. He went on to say," now that we are into the second quarter of 2021 there is space to reflect on the remarkable agility shown by our team in adapting to changing conditions and continuing to support all our clients to secure business-critical talent worldwide."
