Through the use of a server, content can be updated into the players for easy content management.

Updating players will be a breeze once the players have been linked to the server in use. When the Internet Mode is activated on the players, content can be downloaded into the player as needed to display new content. All content can be updated through a remote location or server. Caltron's HD players automatically check for updates every 60 seconds so if there is new content, then the players will update every 60 seconds. Internet mode is used for when the digital signage players need to be networkable.

Internet Mode on the MP-1080A, High Definition MPEG Player with VGA + DVI and MP-1080H, High Definition MPEG Player with VGA+ HDMI allows the players to have content updated and stored into the compact flash card to display content. This enables the players to be more versatile. The Internet mode feature has a simple functionality. This functionality is to provide users with the ability to have content updated remotely through a server. Also with the Internet mode feature on the high definition MPEG Players, any PC with an internet connection can become a server with ease.
