Practical Life Exercises
The Montessori Practical Life exercises and materials provide physical, emotional and social development.These activities allow your child to develop control and coordination of movements, awareness of his/her environment, good work habits, responsibility, concentration, attention, independence, order and positive self-image.

Sensorial Exercising
Sensorial exercise activities are designed to reinforce the five senses to help guide the children in learning to discriminate, clarify and compare. The Montessori Sensorial education introduces the concept of color, weight, shape, texture, size, sound and smell in an enjoyable way and are great fun for the children and it lays a solid foundation for Mathematics, Geometry, Geography, Botany , Art and Music.

Language, communication and Literacy

Diploma in the Montessori Method of Education (DMT)
The Dr. Maria Montessori Method of Education is the foundation Montessori teacher training course for any individual wishing to teach or work with children up to 6 years. This course fulfils the professional training requirements needed for employment as Montessori pre-school teachers. The Certificate is awarded by Modern Montessori International, London.

Course Objectives

• To develop an appreciation and understanding of the Montessori teaching aids and apparatus.

• To discuss with students the organization of the classroom environment and the management of children's behavior.

• Learners will acquire a better understanding of curriculum planning and thematic teaching.

• Learners will develop an understanding of the theories and principles of child psychology and development.

• Learners will have the opportunity to review the effects of the prepared environment on young children through teaching practice at the preschool.
