Huddersfield, West Yorkshire -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/21/2011 -- October started off well for Neville Oldham, http://www.used-woodworkingmachines.co.uk with their agent from Kenya coming over, and purchasing two 40 foot containers of machines which, as always, left them very busy for two weeks, both locating and collecting and finally filling the containers.

The rest of the month was relatively slow but things definitely picked up in November with sales of machinery to MDWS UK Ltd. They purchased a used mortise and tenoner. Breg products purchased a Startrite Panel Saw and Dewar Brothers in Scotland purchased extraction equipment. The rest of the month was busy getting ready for exhibiting at the Northern Woodworking Show. This is the tenth time that NMO has exhibited it's used woodworking machinery and again the visitor numbers were in excess of three thousand people over the three days of the exhibition. Sales and enquiries were excellent. The following machines were supplied straight off the stand: Haven Builders (Dominion 16 x 9 DAA), Autool Grinders (Wadkin NXU Grinder), Mike Thwaites (Sedgwick Mortiser), Colin Chaloner (Wadkin BL150 Lathe) as well as many others.

In December Neville Oldham continued doing business with an old friend, Richard Bolton who, with his colleagues, purchased an SCM Wide Belt Sander with extraction and a DeWalt Crosscut Saw. Also in December we supplied a Wadkin Wide Belt Sander to H&A Specialist Staircases in Northern Ireland. We also equipped a joinery shop in the Essex area with Band Resaw, Panel Saw, Spindle Moulder, Crosscut Saw and a Stegherr Jointing Machine for Georgian windows.

Overall, the end of the year was a good one for NMO, despite a very difficult summer. Now we are hopeful that sales will continue throughout the New Year and that we can continue to supply our customers with a quality product, either new or used, and a personal service that is unmatched in the industry.
