Hillsborough, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/22/2011 -- The performing arts day camp at the Dance Connection is now accepting registration for the summer of 2011. Last year this imaginative and educational camp was near capacity so don't hesitate. Sign up now!

The camp is located just 20 minutes from Princeton and 20 minutes from New Brunswick in the heart of central New Jersey. This musical theater camp is appropriate for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Each day children take classes in dancing, singing, acting, and art. The children work together with counselors to create a short musical that they present to family and friends at the end of each week. The camp is noted for its highly qualified teachers, low camper to staff ratio, and a diverse range of activities for the kids.

The Friday performance is the highlight of the week for campers and parents. Every Friday campers decorate the studio according to that week's theme. Children's artwork covers the walls of the lobby and the studio. Then the campers perform their very own musical, also based on the weekly theme. You get to see what your kids worked on all week, and the kids get to bring family and friends into the space they created.

All camp activities take place at The Dance Connection of Hillsborough.
