Mack, M.D. My goal for this month is to convert all of our existing Botox®, Latisse® and Juvederm® patients into Brilliant Distinctions members as well as make potential patients aware of this great program! The first question I usually receive from patients would be "is it free?" Yes, it is 100% free and I'm actually quite baffled as to why there are so many people getting treated and not getting rewarded! If you are interested in joining but still do not know how to register, feel free to contact me at the office at (813) 875-5437. I decided to send this out this month as it is the 10th Year of FDA Approval for Botox® Cosmetic. With this celebration, Allergan® decided to create a savings program connected with Brilliant Distinctions®. If your first treatment is by April 30th, 2012 I will provide a 3-tier rebate system that will save you $200. This does not include Dr. Mack's monthly specials, so you potentially could save even more money! On your first treatment with this 3-tier system you will receive $50 off that same day, plus receive the 200 points into your Brilliant Distinctions account which is a $25 value that can be used towards your next treatment. Secondly, you will receive $75 off of your second treatment and another 200 points. During your third visit you will also receive $75 off that treatment as well as another 200 points! I am sure you are intrigued to join the Brilliant Distinctions Program now!
Longer, Thicker and Darker Eyelashes

Tampa, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/06/2011 -- "Longer, Thicker and Darker Eyelashes!" –Dr. Mack's office has been ordering bulk of the FDA approved eyelash enhancing product Latisse®.

During the month of November, William P. Mack, M.D. and staff promoted their BOGO Latisse® special to new and existing patients. Due to the high demand and interest, Dr. Mack decided to extend their special offer until the end of December. For just $120, patients are able to walk in and purchase two Latisse® kits for the price of one! William P. Mack, M.D. recommends that "patients take advantage of this great special as Latisse® lasts longer if applied correctly."

Latisse® was created by Allergan®, the same producers of Botox® Cosmetic. Allergan® noticed that their ophthalmic solution Bimatoprost was increasing lash growth on their glaucoma patients and patented Latisse® for non-glaucoma patients to increase and darken their lashes.

According to the Latisse® website, Latisse® "works from the inside out. As the treatment progresses, you'll first begin to see changes in length. Then, gradually, you'll notice more thickness and darkness in your lashes. If you're satisfied with your results by week 8, don't stop there. Stick with the treatment. After week 16, you'll see the full effect of Latisse® solution — and so will others. After that, you can talk to your doctor about ongoing use."

Debbie Gill, office manager for Dr. Mack, stated "I noticed changes to my lashes within two weeks of starting Latisse®." "Many of our patients want to know what to expect and how soon they will see changes to their eyelashes." The Latisse® website has great information for patients interested in getting prescribed Latisse® from William P. Mack, M.D. in South Tampa, FL. "Patients also want to know the risks and side effects from using Latisse®." According to www.latisse.com, "Latisse® does have some side effects, the most common of which are an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness. These were reported in approximately 4% of patients. Fortunately for Debbie as well as Dr. Mack's patients, there have been no reports made to Dr. Mack's office of any skin darkening- which is a very low risk side effect.

"As we age our eyelashes tend to become thinner, lighter and we seem to lose more as the years pass by." William P. Mack, M.D., an ophthalmologist with extensive training in the eye region stated his opinion of eyelash tendency. Dr. Mack and his staff are firm believers in Latisse® and have witnessed the great youthful changes Latisse® can offer for both new and existing patients. With the buy one get one offer available through December, Dr. Mack encourages anyone interested to stop in today to get prescribed this amazing product!
Food Network's Robert Irvine, Celebrity Host of Restaurant: Impossible, Chose Dr. William P. Mack of Tampa, Fl to Perform His Cosmetic Eyelid Surgery.

"Food Network’s Robert Irvine, celebrity host of Restaurant: Impossible, chose Dr. William P. Mack of Tampa, FL to perform his cosmetic eyelid surgery". – Robert Irvine was quoted as saying he experienced “friendly service” and a “professional doctor.”

Tampa, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/27/2011 -- Robert Irvine, 46 years old, was born in Wiltshire, England and now resides in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Irvine is a celebrity chef and host known for Food Network's "Dinner: Impossible" and "Restaurant: Impossible." Irvine's latest show, "Restaurant: Impossible" airs on the Food Network channel. "After combating countless "impossible dinners," Chef Robert Irvine faces a daunting new challenge: save America's most desperate restaurants from impending failure in just two days with only $10,000. In his new prime-time Food Network series, Restaurant: Impossible, Robert uses creativity and resourcefulness along with a lot of muscle in his fight to rescue these restaurants and give hope to the owners and their employees. Day one of the extreme mission begins with a thorough business assessment as Robert launches the restaurant into full service, closely observes the staff and kitchen, and determines their weakest spots. Then, he springs into action by updating the menu, retraining the staff and implementing aesthetic changes with the help of his design team. To ensure a packed house for the grand re-opening at the end of day two, Robert hits the streets to tell the community about the improved restaurant. Will the ruthless schedule, tight budget and ambitious task overcome Robert's lofty goals, or will this tall order result in restaurant triumph?" (www.foodnetwork.com)

Mr. Irvine's fiance Ms. Gail Kim, a professional wrestler, helped him find Dr. Mack as she currently resides in Tampa, FL. During his consultation with Dr. Mack, Irvine stated that his eyelids were interfering with daily activities and were an issue with his line of work. Robert Irvine met with Dr. Mack for his complimentary consultation. The following week Mr. Irvine had surgery (upper eyelid blepharoplasty) on his eyelids in Dr. Mack's private practice in South Tampa. Cosmetic upper eyelid blepharoplasty refers to the surgical procedure that Dr. Mack performs to reduce the tired baggy appearance of the upper eyelids. During the eye surgery, incisions are made in the crease of the upper eyelid to remove excess skin and fat. The advantage of making the incision in the eyelid crease in that the scar is barely noticeable after a few months. Upper eyelid blepharoplasty is performed under local anesthesia and the patient typically has the sutures removed 7 to 10 days following the surgery. Dr. William P. Mack's notes that "the eye region is the most important aesthetic component of the face. When eye contact is made, we immediately begin forming our first impressions; judging someone to be tired, sad, angry, or pleasant-all based on the appearance of the area around the eyes. With aging, the upper eyelids may become "droopy" or "baggy" giving patients a tired look which decreases the overall attractiveness of one's eyes."

In between taping for the upcoming season of "Restaurant: Impossible," Robert stopped by Dr. Mack's office to record a video testimonial. Mr. Irvine wanted all of Tampa Bay to know what a great and "professional" doctor William P. Mack, M.D. is and how pleased he was with his results and experience. Dr. Mack and his staff were very thankful to have Mr. Irvine and his fiance take time out of their hectic schedule to help promote his extensive training in Oculoplastic and Facial Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Mack stated that Irvine is a very "laid-back, personable, and overall genuine person." Debbie Gill, RN and office manager for Dr. Mack, stated that the couple were "easy to work with," "extremely humorous," and "he made me laugh throughout the whole experience and even the procedure." Below is the video testimonial from Irvine transcribed into text format:

"Hi my name is Robert Irvine, I'm the host of Food Network's "Restaurant: Impossible" and I'm here to tell you guys out there what an amazing guy Dr. Mack is. I checked out and found Dr. Mack here in Tampa. So I traveled from South Carolina to have a consultation with him and I gotta tell you this… From the start of my procedure to the end of it (even today,) just amazing. You know if you can see, I don't know if you can see this, I had over lapping…. what I would call extra skin which actually affected when I did my job on TV. So, Dr. Mack tightened them up, removed some excess skin and made me look hopefully this good. So, I got to tell you, if you're looking for somebody that you want to trust… look no further. Right here in Tampa, Florida- Dr. Mack… and I'm sure you can see by the website the address. Give him a call, come on down, see the friendly service that you can get, the professional doctor himself. Actually, he's kind of a movie star; he's got movie star looks, well hey that's why he's in that profession. Don't waste any time, come from wherever you live and get a free consultation NOT (it's not a free consultation is it? It is?) Come get a free consultation and I tell you this you will not be happier with the results and you will tell all your friends. Let me put it this way, if you tell five friends you'd be making money. It's a great experience… you've got to come and see it."

Robert Irvine and Gail Kim, a professional wrestler, are busy making their wedding plans which will take place in Napa Valley, California this spring. New episodes of Food Networks "Restaurant: Impossible" will air Wednesday September 21st at 10:00pm. Dr. Mack uses Botox® for cosmetic treatment of frown lines and crows feet; as well as conditions known as essential blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm. So what happens when a patient combines Botox® Cosmetic and Juvederm®? "A more refreshed appearance without invasive surgery" quotes Dr. William P. Mack. Dr. Mack has seen an increase in the combination of the two products scheduled together at his practice and promotes the combo by running specials such as the Duet Dividends sponsored by Allergan®. Throughout the month of September Dr. Mack's private practice in South Tampa will continue to run the Duet Dividends discount/special. This promotion saves patients $75 when they receive their treatment of Botox® Cosmetic and Juvederm® during the same visit. Treatments are performed in the office by Dr. Mack as a very small amount is injected with a microneedle into several areas of the face. No anesthesia is required and patients are able to drive themselves home following the procedure. The most common side effect is temporary bruising at the site of the injection. Botox® treatments typically last for 3 to 4 months and Juvederm® around 8 to 12 months.

Dr. William P. Mack is one of the leading Physicians in the Tampa Bay area performing Botox®. He is a part of The Botox® Cosmetic Physician's Network; a unique group of doctors with specialized training on the techniques of injecting Botox® Cosmetic. Dr. Mack has recently being promoted to the highest level awarded to Physicians by Allergan® (makers of Botox® and Juvederm®) the Diamond Level provider status. This is achieved by numerous factors such as: celebrating great experience and expertise, growing cases of Botox® treatments, and giving patients the highest skills and techniques during their treatments. Patients feel very comfortable being treated by Dr. Mack, according to his testimonials, due to his extensive training in the eye region. William P. Mack, M.D. is an Ophthalmologist who specialized in Oculoplastic and Facial Cosmetic Surgery. All of Dr. Mack's training is in the eye region and the muscles/areas of the face. Many Doctors across America are able to inject Botox® Cosmetic without any fellowship training in the facial region. This leads to eyelid drooping (1% of patients) when injected into a poor location not meant to receive Botox®. Dr. Mack encourages "anyone who is interested in Botox or any facial procedure should consult with a physician who has extensive training and fellowships pertaining to the face." Dr. Mack's office offers complimentary consultations for any potential patient interested in Botox® or Juvederm®. At 8:15 a.m. on Thursday morning, Dr. Mack presented his session which focused on the treatment of ptosis (droopiness of the upper eyelid due to the weakening muscle) after cosmetic upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Dr. Mack then took the audience through the steps and techniques to correct this issue.
