This UHF RFID reader, model 227001, uses UHF radio frequency technology with an advanced anti-collision algorithm, allowing it to accurately transmit and receive information to and from literally thousands of RFID tags. It has an identification rate of 100 tags per second and identifies a large quantity of up to 2000 tags at the same time. Its read/write range is tunable up to 100 m.

The RFID interrogator can be easily integrated into a laptop, handheld or mobile computer, and is shipped with development software for application development under Windows CE/9x/NT/ 2000/XP and Linux systems. The software also enables the processing of data and update firmware from the PCMCIA or serial interface.
