The 2nd gift to all the students after the School of Engineering, Shiv Nadar University announces the School of Natural Sciences commencing with the Department of Mathematics. The last date for submitting the filled Bachelors application form is 15th July and that for Masters application form is 22nd July. The final interviews for Bachelors program will be held on 30th and 31st July. For the Masters program, the interview date will be decided in consultation with the candidate.

Starting this year, the Department of Mathematics will offer an innovative four-year undergraduate program and a two-year post graduate program. These programs have been designed on the basis of SNU's underlying philosophy of interdisciplinary learning. In addition to the degree programs, the department will also offer certification courses specially designed and customized to develop technical and analytical skills relevant to industry needs.

There is a great demand for mathematicians in various sectors like investment banking, insurance, financial services, consulting, medical research, bioinformatics, software, computer security and defense. The students of Shiv Nadar University will have the global exposure and creative thinking needed to have successful careers in industry, academia and the government.
