Industry 4.0 Optimization Must Be Realized According to Seegrid Jeff Christensen VP of Product

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/01/2017 -- Jeff Christensen VP of Product at Seegrid, the leader in connected self-driving vehicles for materials handling, discussed the journey toward Industry 4.0 for manufacturers. "As we advance steadily toward Industry 4.0, companies should prepare to redefine how they approach materials handling, including optimization of new technology," suggested Christensen.

Christensen explains that plant managers are optimizing new technology by leveraging the data collected by their Industry 4.0 solutions to identify variance and make adjustments to improve their existing processes. By recognizing a consistent problem via data, the plant manager can understand if there is a global or local issue in a more comprehensive way than visually assessing problem workflows or processes.

Although it takes time for many businesses to realize optimization, it is the point at which organizations are able to identify where technology is performing well and where there is room for improvement. By assessing quantified data, management can understand where variance is coming from and adjust processes accordingly. Pinpointing variances in the data allows them to develop a corrective action, leading to optimization of all processes, which leads to meaningful improvement to the bottom line. The acknowledgement of insights provided by data, the ability to identify key points of variance, and the process of optimization is crucial to truly completing the last step in the journey toward Industry 4.0.

Seegrid Jeff Christensen VP of Product Says Measurement of Predictability Is Key in Journey to Industry 4.0

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/31/2017 -- Jeff Christensen VP of Product at Seegrid, the leader in connected self-driving vehicles for materials handling, advocated a measurement of predictability for manufacturers' implementation of Industry 4.0 technology. "As we advance steadily toward Industry 4.0, companies should prepare to redefine how they approach materials handling, such as measurement of predictability in the new technology," suggested Christensen.

Christensen explains that extracting and analyzing data quantifies the predictability or variance of the technology against the initial throughput measurements or key performance indicators (KPIs) laid out prior to installation.

One of the largest U.S.-based automobile manufacturers utilizes many unique technologies to optimize the number of labor hours expended per vehicle produced. In a Detroit assembly plant, the company deployed over 75 self-driving vehicles to deliver parts predictably and reliably. By vastly improving throughput, self-driving vehicles help drive the company's overall goal of reducing labor hours per vehicle produced by the plant.

Mail delivery is another example of an industry using self-driving vehicles to streamline processes. The top metric of interest for management is the number of pieces of mail per day that pass through their distribution centers. Self-driving vehicles are part of the ecosystem that moves mail along its path to distribution, but they are not the only technology that facilitates that movement. The data gathered by self-driving vehicles allows management to stay informed about the progress being made across vertical components of their operation and help make operational adjustments that increase predictability and optimize cost per move.

Seegrid Jeff Christensen VP of Product Suggests Manufacturers Ensure Adoption Verification in Journey Toward Industry 4.0

Seegrid Jeff Christensen VP of Product Suggests Manufacturers Ensure Adoption Verification in Journey Toward Industry 4.0

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/28/2017 -- Jeff Christensen VP of Product at Seegrid, the leader in connected self-driving vehicles for materials handling, suggested that manufacturers need to adopt and even embrace the Industry 4.0 technology. "As we advance steadily toward Industry 4.0, companies should prepare to redefine how they approach materials handling, such as ensuring adoption verification," suggested Christensen.

Christensen added that within the materials handling industry, plant managers are leveraging the data collected by their Industry 4.0 solutions to identify variance and make adjustments to improve their existing processes. By recognizing a consistent problem via data, the manager can understand if there is a global or local issue in a more comprehensive way than visually assessing problem workflows or processes.

Adoption is often the toughest step–companies must ensure employees use the new solution to its full potential. Adoption is often a stumbling block because it requires human change, and human change is hard, slow, and messy. The natural human reaction to change is resistance.

Before real change can happen, employees must be sold on the true value that new technologies can provide. In order to move on to the next step, the technologies must prove they can make significant improvements in efficiency and predictability. At the crux of Step 2 is educating employees and ensuring they are properly equipped to work with the new solutions to deliver optimal results. Management can then analyze the data to ensure the technologies are being utilized to their expectations.

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/26/2017 -- Jeff Christensen VP of Product at Seegrid, the leader in connected self-driving vehicles for materials handling, suggested the first step in moving manufacturers toward Industry 4.0 is that they need to gain confidence in the new technology. "As we advance steadily toward Industry 4.0, companies should prepare to redefine how they approach materials handling, such as gaining confidence in the new technology," suggested Christensen.

Installing new technology in a new environment always requires change, which comes with a learning curve as employees work to understand how it can make the company more productive and their jobs more efficient. The workforce, understandably, is often skeptical of new solutions, so the leadership must help them learn to trust that the technology will be a reliable part of their workflow, solving a pre-existing problem.

One of the world's largest manufacturers of home appliances put over 50 Seegrid self-driving vehicles to work in their Ohio facility. The initial measure of success was ensuring that they had an understanding of what the technology could accomplish and that it was performing accordingly. The company encouraged its workforce to learn the capabilities of the self-driving vehicles. They then tracked the usage and adoption of the change process, eventually focusing on a KPI of overall throughput once the vehicles were integrated into the workforce.

Seegrid Solution in Food Industry Featured in Food Logistics Magazine

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/23/2017 -- Jeff Christensen, vice president of products at Seegrid, recently discussed in Food Logistics magazine how the chronic shortage of qualified labor in the food and logistics industry is boosting interest in automation, including automated lift trucks.

Removing labor from the equation not only saves on costs, but also reduces the safety risks that comes with employing people, especially those performing dangerous or repetitive tasks that threaten or strain the body. Every three days someone is killed in a lift truck-related accident, according to Jeff Christensen, vice president of products at Seegrid, who likes the burgeoning technology because it not only takes humans out of harm's way, but also eradicates 72 percent of the total cost of lift truck ownership by phasing out labor.

Christensen continues, "Companies in the food and beverage industry need to remove costs from the distribution system and reinvest those savings into prices on the shelf to remain competitive. Employing automated lift trucks is advantageous because they simplify processes, thereby making tasks more efficient, which subsequently drives down operational costs and allows for operators to be off the floor more, reducing accidents and driving value-added work."

Although AGVs were invented in 1953, according to Christensen, the technology is exponentially evolving. While infrastructure, such as the use of magnets, wires, sensors and lasers on and under warehouse floors, is still in vogue to guide the autonomous lift trucks, advanced vision technology is quickly becoming the new norm. Because this advanced technology doesn't require any infrastructure, AGVs are free to move wherever they need to without having to follow rigid pre-determined guidelines.

Food Logistics is the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering the movement of product through the food supply chain. In every issue, the publication writes about the news, trends and best practices that will help grocery and foodservice manufacturers and distributors make better business decisions.

Autonomous Material Handling Self-Driving Car Safety Supported by Seegrid

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/23/2017 -- Today's Motor Vehicle is a business-to-business trade publication dedicated covering design, engineering, and manufacturing topics for the motor vehicle world. Markets covered include passenger cars, light trucks, commercial trucks, and off-highway equipment.

While experts debate how to get cars to drive themselves on public roads, autonomous material handling devices already share space with pedestrians and human-navigated vehicles, safely navigating around obstacles to reach their destinations. Seegrid's material handling systems, vision-guided vehicles (VGVs), use five sets of dual cameras to create 360° views of the environment around the vehicle. As the vehicle moves, cameras refresh the 3D view, and software tells the machines what items in the environment have changed as the vehicle's position changes. Algorithms determine which of the objects the cameras have sensed are fixed or moving, and how to respond to those changes in the environment.

"We live in a hybrid environment every day. Our solutions can read their environments and react, so we know that autonomous vehicles can be safe – safer than human-controlled devices," says Jim Rock, CEO of Seegrid.

Jeff Christensen, vice president of products at Seegrid says, "We make statistical and mathematical deductions of what we see. We determine that there's a wall over there, and the ceiling is this far, and that there are some obstructions ahead of us. It gives us an understanding of our environment in an emergent way. We're not anticipating that there's a specific infrastructure in place. That's how humans drive. We see indicators like lane markers or traffic lights, but we perceive the environment in a very abstract way and make inferences based on what we see."

Today's Motor Vehicles speaks with Seegrid executives about self-driving car safety. High-tech lift trucks and material handling systems share environments with pedestrians and human-operated vehicles, showing that autonomous vehicle technology can be used safely.

Jeff Christensen VP of Products at Seegrid Predicts Robots Will Net Positive Impact on Jobs

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/20/2017 -- In a recent Pi Limited blog post, Jeff Christensen, VP of products at Seegrid, discussed how automation will ultimately have a net positive impact on job creation within the manufacturing and supply chain industry.

Christensen points out that the workforce has undergone seismic tech-driven transformations before. Christensen noted, "In the 19th century, as railroads began crisscrossing our country, the steel-making and track-laying industries soared, absorbing many of blacksmiths that were finding steady employment more difficult to find. When the ATM machine was invented, many bemoaned that it would mark the end of the personal bank teller. Decades later, banks now employ more tellers than ever to serve their larger customer bases."

"The introduction of new technologies creates new job requirements, skills, and opportunities. Today's companies are using automation technology, including robots, to become more competitive by lowering costs, reducing downtime, and improving throughput productivity with reliable and predictable delivery of goods. Robots handle the dull, dangerous, dirty, and repetitive jobs, enabling their human co-workers to occupy more safe, fulfilling, and valuable positions," added Christensen.

Christensen pointed to the example of Seegrid, where the deployment of autonomous vehicles often results in the reassignment – rather than the elimination – of jobs. "Many times the individual that was responsible for driving a forklift is now managing a fleet of VGVs. Human workers are therefore trained to fill more value-added roles, and the company as a whole becomes more productive and efficient. This complementary relationship represents the future of manufacturing: humans and robots working alongside each other to improve production overall," explained Christensen.

Seegrid Pioneering New Paths in Warehouses DC Velocity Reports

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/25/2017 -- Seegrid, the pioneer and leader in three-dimensional vision navigation, was recently featured in DC Velocity magazine highlighting the advances in navigation technology. The article, authored by Toby Gooley, discussed how AGV manufacturers continue to tinker with existing guidance technologies and develop new ones.

According to Gooley, "Vehicles that use vision-based navigation come closest to processing visual information the way a human being does. AGVs built by Seegrid, which pioneered this technology, use five pairs of stereo cameras to record the surrounding environment as an operator "trains" them by walking them through their route. The cameras take two images simultaneously, achieving binocular vision with depth perception that's similar to a human being's. This information is used to create a three-dimensional map of the surroundings every few centimeters; the images are then tied together to create a route, explains Jeff Christensen, Seegrid's vice president of products. The AGVs replay the route from their memory and follow it precisely. Changing the route is a simple matter of taking them on another "walk" with an operator."

"AGVs have been around a lot longer, but autonomous cars are a really big story in a much bigger sphere than warehousing, so there will continue to be a lot more discoveries and development in that area," Christensen says." [Automakers] can learn something from autonomous industrial vehicles, and we can learn some things from what they're doing."

Seegrid Achieves Record Growth and Doubles Orders in 2016

Demand for Automated Vision Guided Vehicles Continues to Drive Seegrid’s Rapid Expansion

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/17/2017 -- Seegrid (http://www.Seegrid.com), the leader in vision guided autonomous vehicles for materials handling, announced today the completion of a successful 2016, in which Seegrid doubled orders based on increased demand from both existing and new customers. Innovative companies like Jaguar Land Rover, Whirlpool, Daimler, and one of the world's largest online retailers all selected Seegrid vision guided vehicles (VGVs) to help transform their enterprises. Seegrid's data-rich sensor technology continues to deliver unmatched flexibility and the lowest total cost of ownership to companies investing in automated material handling and Enterprise Intelligence solutions. Seegrid's driverless vehicles are the most proven AGVs that do not require fixed infrastructure in the factory or warehouse. Seegrid ended the year with more than 500,000 driverless miles at customer facilities—equivalent to traveling to the moon and back—without a single safety incident.

A number of key factors contributed to the company's record year:

- Seegrid delivered very attractive return on investment for its customers across North America, the United Kingdom, and Germany, with payback periods less than 12 months in many cases. Existing customers who are already achieving safety and economic benefits using VGVs placed substantial orders to increase their fleets, and new customers invested in automation based on the reliability and flexibility of Seegrid Vision technology.

- Seegrid and The Raymond Corporation, a leading industrial truck manufacturer and part of the Toyota Material Handling Group, increased its VGV product line with the introduction of the Raymond Courier™ 3020 Tow Tractor Automated Lift Truck (http://bit.ly/2jOvMT3), joining the Raymond Courier™ 3010 Automated Pallet Truck. Equipped with Seegrid Vision technology, the Raymond Courier product line provides unmatched flexibility to Raymond customers. Raymond's iWAREHOUSE®, in conjunction with Seegrid's Supervisor Enterprise Intelligence software provides the most robust tracking and reporting for mixed-technology fleets in the industry. Vision guided vehicles can be purchased either through Raymond's dealer network or directly from Seegrid.

- In 2016, Seegrid enhanced Seegrid's Supervisor software with Subway Platform, providing estimated time of arrival (ETA) projections. Developed strategically with Whirlpool Corporation, Subway Platform increases predictability and manages human-robot collaboration. Management can track automated operations at a glance and assembly operators know exactly when their goods will arrive.

"Our customers aren't just looking for advanced robotics systems to meet their immediate logistics needs, but a platform and vision to help transform their entire business. Seegrid's success in 2016 can be attributed, in large part, to our ability to support forward-looking Enterprise Intelligence initiatives," said Jim Rock, Seegrid's CEO. "Our patented 3D Vision technology is aligned with the global movement toward Industry 4.0. For those enterprises aiming to develop a more intelligent, efficient, and seamless factory or warehouse, our autonomous vehicles are the catalyst needed to improve productivity, safety, and reliability."

Ask to See Robot Automation Solutions First Hand Suggests Seegrid to AGV Purchasers

Seegrid Suggests AGV Purchasers Ask to See Robot Automation Solutions First Hand on Manufacturing Plant Floor

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/13/2017 -- Too many AGV vendors do not show prospective customers how their product operates on a plant floor or distribution center. Seegrid knows seeing in believing. Before investing in automation, Seegrid suggests asking AGV/AGC vendors several important questions. Manufacturers are increasingly turning to automation to solve their materials handling challenges. But as many are realizing, not all AGV companies are alike. The various AGV solutions on the market have vastly different degrees of flexibility, scalability, and infrastructure requirements.

Asking if they have evidence of fleets operating in real-world facilities is essential. Step into any manufacturing or distribution trade show, and manufacturers will soon see AGVs easily navigating around booths using tape, lasers, or various other types of infrastructure. While it is certainly an impressive sight, it is a little trickier to navigate a narrow plant aisle packed with humans, forklifts, and other robots.

Before determining which AGV vendor to partner with, it is important to see the product in action. At Seegrid, potential customers are encouraged to visit a reference customer's plant. Seegrid appreciates the value in witnessing real-life applications of the technology manufacturers are about to implement in their facility. It is important to assess whether the vendor has fleets of vehicles working every day in complicated, real world environments. If the AGV vendor cannot prove real-world experience, manufacturers take on a significant amount of risk in implementing an unproven product in your facility.
Weiss mentions safety issues, including ergonomics, repetitive motion, health impact issues, and legislative initiatives causing impacts for 2017. Weiss oversees the engineering and manufacturing departments, providing system designs and architectures, as well as the company's technology roadmap. Weiss' influential expertise includes automation systems in electronics manufacturing, automotive, warehousing, and distribution.

Weiss spoke with industry leaders and cohorts in the standards and testing community for autonomous vehicles and landed on two new issues that are going to be felt more in industry, beginning in 2017: Alarm Fatigue and Intellectual Overload.

The health care sector, including hospitals, has already seen these safety issues. The first new trend is alarm fatigue. There are so many pieces of automation beeping, flashing, and warning operators and "bystanders" in facilities; the warnings become part of the background noise and are ignored. Only the shrillest, loudest alarms illicit a response because they generate sufficient levels of annoyance.

The second safety trend for 2017 is intellectual overload, resulting in fatigue and accidents. As tasks become more automated, or more tele-operated, the operator must pay attention to more activities. As his/her workload is increased, by virtue of the expanded number of functions being managed, there are dire safety consequences.

Federal Guidelines Will Impact the Rules of the Driverless Road Says Seegrid CEO

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/11/2017 -- Seegrid's CEO, Jim Rock, discussed how the new federal guidelines for driverless autonomous vehicles will impact innovation. The US Department of Transportation and the Obama administration unveiled the first-ever Federal guidelines safety checklist for semi and fully autonomous cars. Reactions are flooding in from both Detroit and Silicon Valley as auto manufacturers and tech giants decide what these benchmarks mean for the future of driverless transportation. Although some experts fear that rules and regulations might limit innovation, most see this step by the Federal government as a clear sign of validation for the imminent future of automated automotive transportation.

Automated, driverless vehicles are the future. But not futuristic. While the general public sees this as cutting-edge technology, the manufacturing and supply chain industry has been working with automated robots and driverless vehicles for many years. Even facing heavy regulation, the mobile robotics and automated machinery industry has advanced exponentially to the point where it is today.

Rock added, "We predict that the same scenario will play out when it comes to regulations for driverless automobiles. The regulations passed down by the Department of Transportation are a clarion call for the driverless industry. Regulations from the top down aim to ensure safety and not prohibit innovation. Those hoping to lead us into the future have a right to be skeptical of restrictions. But the burden of proof is on developers. Just as regulations adjusted over time within the manufacturing industry so, too, will they develop, evolve and hopefully improve the relationship between automated robot and the humans that create them."

Seegrid Maps Route to Self-Driving Cars Featured in SiliconANGLE

Seegrid Maps Route to Self-Driving Cars Featured in SiliconANGLE

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/02/2017 -- Seegrid's vision-guided autonomous vehicles have been working alongside humans in the manufacturing industry for 13 years. Now, the company is looking at moving its vision technology toward the self-driving car industry, according to James Farrell of SiliconANGLE.

The vision technology provides depth perception much like human eyes: It sees, records the route and then recognizes the space where it has been when it travels again. The algorithm in the system can analyze the chances of something getting in its way, much like people do when they walk around a busy area such as a warehouse. This technology is currently being used by companies such as BMW, Jaguar, and Whirlpool, which has 54 Seegrid self-learning vehicles on its warehouse floors.

Seegrid now hopes to leverage that technology to guide self-driving cars. Seegrid has already logged around 500,000 incident-free miles in distribution centers and factories, with autonomous vehicles driving alongside humans in complex environments. "In 2017, we are aiming to expand our initial prototypes and further test the applicability of cameras on consumer cars," Jeff Christensen, vice president of products and services at Seegrid, said in an interview with SiliconANGLE.

New Federal Guidelines for Driverless Autonomous Vehicles Supported by Major Tech Sector Says Seegrid CEO Jim Rock

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/21/2016 -- In a recent blog post, Seegrid's CEO, Jim Rock, discussed how the new federal guidelines for driverless autonomous vehicles will impact innovation. Because the guidelines will not vary from state to state, this is a gift for automation innovators because it means adhering to just one national standard as opposed to trying to navigate 50 disparate sets of regulations. The major tech and auto players agree that state and local governments should support the federal guidelines:

-Google, Uber and Lyft, through a trade association in which they are members, also hailed the guidelines. "State and local governments also have complementary responsibilities and should work with the federal government to achieve and maintain our status as world leaders in innovation," said David Strickland, general counsel for the trade group, Self-Driving Coalition for Safer Streets. –New York Times

-Ford, which is targeting fully autonomous vehicles by 2021 for ride-sharing, said in a statement that the guidance "will help establish the basis for a national framework that enables the safe deployment of autonomous vehicles. We also look forward to collaborating with states on areas that complement this national framework." –New York Times

-Honda's (HMC) American Honda said it "welcomes NHTSA's leadership in providing federal guidance regarding on-road usage of connected and automated vehicles. Nationwide consideration of this guidance will help avoid a patchwork of differing state regulations and enable all automakers to continue rapid advancement of ongoing research in this area. Ultimately, this will bring these safety and convenience technologies to market more quickly for consumers." –Fox Business

Seegrid Autonomous Material Handling Supports Self-Driving Car Safety

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/20/2016 -- Today's Motor Vehicles speaks with Seegrid executives about self-driving car safety. High-tech lift trucks and material handling systems share environments with pedestrians and human-operated vehicles, showing that autonomous vehicle technology can be used safely.

Seegrid CTO Mitchell Weiss Looks Ahead to 2017 Automation Trends and Impacts

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/15/2016 -- Seegrid's CTO, Mitchell Weiss, discusses 2017 automation trends in the recent issue of Occupational Health and Safety Magazine.

Occupational Health & Safety has been an industry leader for over 84 years and continues to provide an effective collection of media outlets for promoting health and safety products and services.

Seegrid CEO Jim Rock Discusses Impact of New Federal Driverless Autonomous Vehicles Guidelines

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/14/2016 -- In a recent blog post, Seegrid's CEO, Jim Rock, discussed how the new federal guidelines for driverless autonomous vehicles will impact innovation. The guidelines afford a glimpse into the future by clarifying the scope of what will be allowed and what won't. Those working in the autonomous space (tech companies, suppliers, automotive companies) see the range of feasibility with regards to the federal guidelines. Some of the guidelines will be a challenge to implement; of the fifteen points on the Federal guidelines safety checklist, below are the highlights ranging from most feasible to I'll-believe-it-when-I-see-it:

-Those checkpoints that focus on making the autonomous systems safe are the no-brainers. These are the guidelines consumers want and need when it comes to driverless vehicles.

-The guidelines regulating data sharing may be difficult to enforce, considering developers may try to limit the information collected, but this open disclosure could help create a more open community of researchers, driving innovation via shared insight.

-Then there are guidelines that are less feasible (at least for now). The points on the federal checklist calling for full disclosure of AI systems with regards to decision making: they haven't been developed (yet).

Seegrid Has Developed Stereo Cameras for Driverless Cars According to CNBC

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/12/2016 -- Seegrid, the pioneer and leader in three-dimensional vision navigation, was recently profiled by CNBC. According to CNBC, Pittsburgh-based Seegrid has been making vehicles drive autonomously for a dozen years. The company, founded in 2003, develops sensors and software to move industrial trucks around manufacturing facilities and distribution centers for companies like Whirlpool, Volvo, BMW, and Jaguar.

Seegrid CEO Jim Rock said the technology has proven itself to be ready for the roads. "We've done nearly 500,000 miles in actual customer production environments with no accidents," noted Rock. The "evidence grid" software that captures and translates the data is what sets it apart from others in the industry according to Rock.

Seegrid's vehicles navigate entirely stereo cameras that give the robots a depth of vision. "It's just like the two eyes that are in human beings," said Jeff Christensen, Seegrid's vice president of products. "You get a depth of field." Christensen also added that stereo cameras are a better choice as a primary sensor. "Then you can get both the image data and the ranging data from a single sensor."

CNBC noted Seegrid is not looking to build its own cars, but instead partner with an automaker and sell its sensor kit. The company has a prototype using a Nissan Leaf to test its sensors outside of a manufacturing setting for the first time.

Jim Rock, CEO of Seegrid, shared with CNBC, "We take an ordinary industrial truck and outfit it with our hardware and our proprietary software; this allows the robots to see the world around them. They run in very complex and dangerous environments moving very heavy loads and we have done this for nearly 500,000 miles in actual consumer production environments with no accidents."

Jeff Christensen, Seegrid vice president of products added, "I firmly believe that computers and sensors are safer drivers than humans, both on the factory floor and public roads. Many of our clients in industrial automation are in automotive manufacturing, so there is a natural fit for us to be talking with our customers that could be future partners."

Seegrid Vision sensors enable vehicles to see the world just like humans do. Seegrid has a prototype to test its sensors outside of a manufacturing facility and will be exploring partnerships with automakers to get its sensors out on the road.

Seegrid CEO Shares How Federal Guidelines Will Impact the Rules of the Driverless Road

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/07/2016 -- Seegrid's CEO, Jim Rock, discussed how the new federal guidelines for driverless autonomous vehicles will impact innovation.
