Bitumen roofing shingles reinforced with glassfibre are secured with galvanised staple fixings and meet all building regulations. The log cabin's interior is treated with water-based stain coat. The heartwood exterior surface receives two external coats of natural oil-based stain.

The new luxury log cabins feature high efficiency Low 'E' double glazed doors and windows with laminated softwood frames. High-security locks protect exterior doors and windows. The interior has strong latches and locks on pine panel doors.
