Wine Oh TV nominated for a 2012 Wine Blog Award

San Francisco, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/11/2012 -- Nominations for the 6th Annual Wine Blog Awards recognizing excellence in new media is now open. Wine enthusiasts nominated Wine Oh TV several times and in two categories: Best Wine Blog and Best Original Video or Photography on a Wine Blog. The goal of the Wine Blog Awards is to honor and celebrate the best in wine blogging.

The nominations process closes on May 30th, and judges will then undertake the task of evaluating nominations based on the criteria for each category. Their individual evaluations will be taken together to determine the five finalists blogs in each category.

Once the finalists in each category are determined and announced, voting on the winners begins. The winner in each category is determined by a vote of the public and of the judges. The final determination is based on a 50/50 weighting between collective votes of the judges and the public vote.

The winners will be announced at the 2012 Wine Bloggers Conference in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, August 18th.
