Thailand UNESCO World Heritage Site Photographic Workshop & Tour

Enlightened Exposures confirm their UNESCO World Heritage Site photography workshop and tour. The photographic tours and workshops will start in the fall and run until the spring of 2013.

Bangkok, Wattana -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/16/2012 -- Enlightened Exposures are please to announce the confirmation of their latest photography tour and workshop , It is the Central Thailand UNESCO World Heritage Site workshop.

The workshop start and finishes in Bangkok, is a 4 day 3 night tour which covers The Khao Yai National Park in Nakhon Ratchasima and the ancient Thai capital city of Ayutthaya. The photography tour spends one night at the national Park and two night in the ancient capital.

Enlightened Exposures have scheduled this photography tour to monthly from July 2012 through to February 2013, the tour uses five star hotels in the Khao Yai National Park and the best boutique hotels in Ayutthaya.

Khao Yai National Park in Nakhon Ratchasima was first recognized by UNESCO in 1984 and was given the status of 'ASEAN Heritage Park', but in 2005 in recognition of the valuable and delicate ecosystems in the National Park UNESCO gave Khoa Yai its highest award, that of Worldd Heritage Site. Khao National Park is home to some dramatic landscapes, granite cliffs and waterfalls which makes photography tours and workshops an absolute dream.

Ayutthaya needs very little introduction to those familiar with Asia and Thailand. Ayutthaya was the capital of Siam, the name was changed to Thailand around the same time the capital moved to its present day location in Bangkok. Ayutthaya in 1700 ad was the largest city in the world, this was due to it geographic location, midway between china, India and Malaya, making it the single most important trading post of the time, ship would sail from all over the world to the Siamese capital to exchange and trade goods. The city because of it's immense wealth was adorned with numerous temple, palaces and trading posts, most notably that of the Dutch East India Company. Much of the ancient city lies in ruins but clues to the cities previous riches are still evident.
