Glasgow Interactive Investigate Claims That Success Could Be in Our Genes

Glasgow, Lanarkshire -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/18/2012 -- Glasgow Interactive were intrigued to discover this week that according to The Daily Mail: "Research shows that much of our predisposition towards determination, sociability and self-control and sense of purpose is in our genes." New research carried out at Edinburgh University claims that a person's DNA actually plays a bigger role in influencing such traits than other factors such as someone's upbringing or the company they keep. As a rapidly growing company specialising in nurturing up and coming entrepreneurial talent, Glasgow Interactive believe that, if the research were proved to be true, it could have a dramatic effect on the way in which companies in the UK view potential new recruits.

Glasgow Interactive learnt that the researchers at Edinburgh University studied more than 800 sets of identical and non-identical twins as almost all twins share the same home environment as each other, but only identical twins share exactly the same genetics. From this they were able to find patterns that indicate identical twins were twice as likely as non-identical twins to share the same personality traits, which suggests that their DNA has a greater impact than their upbringing. The leader of the study Prof Timothy Bates commented: "Previously, the role of family and the environment around the home often dominated people's ideas about what affected psychological wellbeing. However, this work highlights a much more powerful influence from genetics."

Gilles Baudet, Managing Director at Glasgow Interactive is a multi award-winning entrepreneur having successfully launched and run a number of companies in a wide range of business sectors. He has always claimed his success was down to his tenacity as a leader and his ability to bounce back when faced with a difficult situations and challenges, in the face of which others may have quit. According to the new research however, these successful traits could have been inherited at birth as opposed to developed throughout his working life. The Mail report claims that "genes largely determine how determined and persistent we are" and that "this is important in terms of success, as someone who refuses to give up is more likely to achieve their dreams than someone who throws in the towel at the first hiccup."

In response, Gilles Baudet admits he has always possessed a desire to succeed in life however refuses to believe that a successful mentality cannot be created. He concluded: "I find it fascinating that such traits can be ingrained into our DNA from birth and that some people may naturally be more likely to succeed. I believe however that no matter how large of an influence genetics has on a person, external factors in a person's life such as mentors and family members will always have an irreplaceable effect on the way in which a winning mentality is developed. This new research certainly gives a whole new meaning to the phrase 'natural born leader'".

For more information on this press release visit: http://www.releasewire.com/press-releases/release-3.htm

Media Relations Contact

Dom Fearns
Email: Click to Email Dom Fearns
Web: http://glasgowinteractive.co.uk

Glasgow Interactive Follow the Trend of Business Apps

Glasgow, Lanarkshire -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/22/2012 -- Just about anyone with a tablet or a smartphone has downloaded and installed apps onto their devices at one point or another, you don't have to be a tech geek to know about apps any more. Business and productivity apps are starting to make a push and are being used by individuals and companies alike. Glasgow Interactive are now following the trend and developing apps for their business.

There has been a boom of applications in the small business realm as people become more accustomed to utilizing applications rather than websites and online resources. Glasgow Interactive believe that we can expect the trends to continue to point to a sharp app rise across the board. People are now relying more on their smartphones for basic business tasks, such as grabbing data from your company's computer systems, managing a Web site, and even viewing, editing, and storing Word and Excel files. Smartphones can be a powerful business tool. Glasgow Interactive's Managing Director Gilles Baudet says, "..with every new release of smartphone, the handsets gain better security and improved real-time e-mail delivery, both appealing features for business users and their companies' IT departments!"

It was once the case that not having a website meant that you were alienating a large consumer base, now consumers are searching for apps, with their apps under development Glasgow Interactive are ensuring they keep up with the rest in these technologically advanced times.

For more information on this press release visit: http://www.releasewire.com/press-releases/release-3.htm

Media Relations Contact

Dom Fearns
Email: Click to Email Dom Fearns
Web: http://glasgowinteractive.co.uk

Glasgow Interactive to Entice Customers With Recession Busting Deals

Glasgow, Lanarkshire -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/15/2012 -- In the wake of the UK teetering on the edge of another recession, unemployment levels remaining high and the retail industry making all the headlines for the wrong reasons recently, award winning entrepreneur Gilles Baudet announced that his newest Direct Sales & Marketing company - Glasgow Interactive – will begin trading in early May. According to The UK's Direct Selling Association the direct selling industry is experiencing strong growth with 26% more men and a 29% increase in over 50's involved in the expanding industry and Gilles Baudet explained that Glasgow Interactive will bridge the gap between the ever savvier consumer and the client.

Glasgow Interactive specialises in developing personal relationships with new customers and developing strong brand awareness and loyalty through face-to-face marketing. This will in turn allow Glasgow Interactive to provide their clients with long-term, profitable customers at an extremely low cost. Gilles Baudet, Managing Director at Glasgow Interactive commented: "We will take products and services directly from the client to the customer so the customers get great savings and the clients get immediate, guaranteed results from us – it really is win-win. The sales industry is worth more than £2 billion to the UK economy and brands all over the world are increasingly seeing Direct Sales as a possible means by which to increase their customer base without increasing costs drastically."

Entering into an expanding market, Glasgow Interactive has a clear goal in mind and that is to grow and offer the opportunity for others to learn how to run a successful business in an increasingly difficult economic climate. Gilles Baudet explained: "The Direct Sales & Marketing industry is thriving and it has evolved so much in the last few years that it makes it an exciting sector to be involved in. I originally got involved in order to give myself a stable platform from which I could ensure economic stability and provide myself with long-term career options. Now that's exactly what I want Glasgow Interactive to represent." The Financial Times recently reported that direct selling had "moved on from its 1950s roots" and explained how "Today's agents are harnessing social media and operating out of offices, spas and cafes, encouraged by new remuneration structures."

Glasgow Interactive will initially be representing clients in the Telecommunications and Health & Beauty industries, however Gilles Baudet has not ruled out entering other market sectors this year. He concluded: "I'm excited to get started, it's been a lot of hard work but we've got the foundations right and that's really important. Now it's just a case of pushing ourselves hard and showing everyone what we're really capable of here at Glasgow Interactive."

For more information on this press release visit: http://www.releasewire.com/press-releases/release-3.htm

Media Relations Contact

Dom Fearns
Email: Click to Email Dom Fearns
Web: http://www.glasgowinteractive.co.uk/

Glasgow Interactive Aims to Inspire Budding Entrepreneurs

Glasgow, Lanarkshire -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/15/2012 -- Despite the fragile state of the UK economy and many companies facing downsizing and even closure, Glasgow Interactive will launch in early May already having two national clients on their books. The company is the latest venture of award winning entrepreneur Gilles Baudet, who rebranded the company (formerly Manchester Interactive Marketing) after moving central operations to Glasgow city centre. Having recently hosted an invitation only conference in Glasgow for budding entrepreneurs in the field of Direct Sales & Marketing, Baudet explained he believes Glasgow Interactive can inspire others and teach them how to become successful in business.

From a young age the Managing Director at Glasgow Interactive was inspired by the likes of Donald Trump and Richard Branson; successful businessmen for whom the road to success was never easy. Baudet commented: "It is truly inspirational to read the autobiographies of people like Richard Branson and see how they got to where they are today. All we see now is the glitz and glamour of their lives but it is in their toughest times that we can learn the most from them. The incredible mental strength they obviously possess is something budding entrepreneurs need to understand and develop." According to the Telegraph, when speaking at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress GEC "Sir Richard (Branson) said he regularly met young British entrepreneurs who impressed him and called on more established business owners to guide them and become mentors." Glasgow Interactive was inspired by this.

After being nominated for three awards at a recent awards ceremony at The Royal Festival Hall in London's South Bank, Gilles Baudet was able to spend some valuable time in the company of successful entrepreneur James Caan. The former star of BBC's Dragon's Den addressed over 2,000 entrepreneurs representing businesses from across the globe and Gilles Baudet was lucky enough to spend some one-on-one time with Caan. He explained: "Networking is obviously a huge part of any successful business that wants to stay ahead. To receive advice from James Caan and spend time with someone of his experience was such a privilege and I learnt a lot from that experience. To be in the presence of so many great minds shows that we are making waves here at Glasgow Interactive and long may it continue."

The goal for 2012 is to mirror the achievements of Manchester Interactive Marketing in 2011 and already Gilles Baudet believes the new Glasgow Interactive is showing signs that even bigger things are to come. "We have a strong group of people here and I'm excited to see where they will be at this time next year. I want to help teach people the skills I have learnt throughout my career so far and these guys are keen to learn and develop themselves. In such uncertain economic conditions, it's the perfect time to take control of your own destiny."

For more information on this press release visit: http://www.releasewire.com/press-releases/release-3.htm

Media Relations Contact

Dom Fearns
Email: Click to Email Dom Fearns
Web: http://www.glasgowinteractive.co.uk/

Glasgow Interactive Unveiled As Manchester Interactive Marketing's Successor

Glasgow, Lanarkshire -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/14/2012 -- Award winning Direct Sales & Marketing company Manchester Interactive Marketing (MIM) announced that it will officially become Glasgow Interactive as of 1st May 2012 as part of its relocation strategy. After recently moving all operations into the bustling city centre of Glasgow, Managing Director of the new Glasgow Interactive Gilles Baudet announced this week that the company will be re-branded to remind those at Glasgow Interactive of the incredible journey the company has taken since being established in early 2010.

Any company that decides to re-brand does so with the goal of maintaining their positive attributes previously associated with their company and Glasgow Interactive is no different. Gilles Baudet, Managing Director at Glasgow Interactive commented: "We have huge goals for 2012 and plan on becoming the fastest growing Direct Sales & Marketing company in the UK over the next few years. In order to do that a company must have a solid foundation from which to build and MIM is where it all started for us. It is for this reason we wanted to publically rebrand the company; so that our clients, customers and anyone interested in joining us can see exactly where we started, how we have grown, how well we have performed and how far we have come in such a relatively short period of time."

Glasgow Interactive's new mission statement reflects their previous achievements and ethos: "The client comes first. That is why we commit to do all we can to help clients by providing sales and marketing solutions tailored to their unique circumstances. We strive to maintain strong long-term relationships with our clients, enabling us to maximise client satisfaction." Their simple and unique style of introducing new products and services to the masses has paved the way for Glasgow Interactive to be born and Gilles Baudet believes that by "bringing the 'Interactive Touch' to Sales and Marketing" they have a recipe for success.

In a tough economic climate with high unemployment levels and low consumer confidence, the direct marketing industry continues to expand. With Glasgow Interactive providing guaranteed low cost results, it is not surprising to see more and more companies around the UK exploring the possibility of working with outsource Sales & Marketing companies. Gilles Baudet concluded: "The future is bright for the industry we're in and we believe now is the perfect time to start fresh. MIM is the past and Glasgow Interactive is the very exciting future."

For more information on this press release visit: http://www.releasewire.com/press-releases/release-3.htm

Media Relations Contact

Dom Fearns
Email: Click to Email Dom Fearns
Web: http://www.glasgowinteractive.co.uk/
