Thanks to its good location, Belgrade allows tourists to visit the whole country and enjoy the best of Serbia.

Florence, Tuscany -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/12/2012 -- Serbia is a perfect country for whoever wishes to experience a new culture, discovering different traditions and - why not - maybe learning a new language.

Visiting Serbia - http://www.aboutbelgrade.com/ - and its capital, Belgrade, could be a very different travel experience because we're not talking about the usual European country. As a matter of fact, Serbians use to be very kind and warm with foreign tourists and they're also very friendly.

In addition, eating in Belgrade is quite cheap compared to other tourist cities in Europe: local cuisine is fowl and fish based and they have many delicious soups.

Tourists here will have at their disposal a wide range of cultural main sights, such museums, theatres, old palaces, basilicas, churches and much more. Just to mention some of the most important attractions in Belgrade, there are the National Museum, the National Library, Belgrade Fortress, the Museum of Applied Art, Nikola Tesla Museum and Republic Square, but also the Skadarlija, the street of the Serbian bohemians (even French, English and Americans) located in a quarter characterized by narrow streets and renamed "the Montmartre of Belgrade" because of its bohemian and lively atmosphere.

By the way, Belgrade is not the only location deserving a visit in Serbia. As a matter of fact, Serbia preserves many interesting cities and tourist resorts to enjoy, and the perfect location of Belgrade allows visitors to easily reach the most charming areas of the country. Visiting Serbia will be a very different and special experience tourists will remember for much time. Here are some reasons why.

For instance, Vrnjci Spa is considered one of the most famous and beautiful spa centers in Serbia, placed on the wooded hills of Goc Mountain and surrounded by several monasteries.

avolja varos (literally "Devil's town") is a natural park placed in southern Serbia, on the Radan mountain slopes, 288 km from Belgrade. It is an extraordinary natural monument made up of clay figures having 202 sources of highly acidic water, "Crveno vrelo" (Red hot) and ?avolja voda ("Devil's water"). Locals tell lots of stories and legends about this strange natural phenomenon. According to one of such legends, the town was created by the devil for the purpose of destroying churches and religion. According to another legend, devils wanted to marry a brother and a sister, so to prevent the sin, some higher force converted them into a stone forever.

Above all that, this region offers a lot of charming cities to visit, such as Vranje, which is located in Southern Serbia, 70 km from Leskovac, and is based on traditional handicrafts.

Discovering the New Travel Guide About Liguria

The brand new website About Liguria.com is finally on the net, a useful and interesting tourist guide to the Region of Liguria, Italy.

Florence, Tuscany -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/25/2010 -- Web Marketing Team staff is proud to present its new creation: the brand new website About Liguria.com, your tourist guide to the Region of Liguria, in Italy (http://www.aboutliguria.com/).

This is a useful tourist guide which has been created in order to provide many interesting and detailed information and tips about everything concerning the Region of Liguria: towns, beaches, nature, art and culture, historical buildings, stunning landscapes made up of sea and mountains.

Our purpose is to give visitors cultural, tourist and practical information, in order to supply them with a detailed knowledge about this charming land and give them the chance to plan their ideal stay.

Ever you ever been in Liguria?
Well, we are talking about a very small region located in the North West of Italy, just by the sea. This thin strip of land surrounded by mountains, hills and deep blue sea will enchant you at first sight.

This is a land able to offer visitors fun, relax, nature, sport, wellness and excellent food, in other words, all visitors here will find their ideal holiday.

On About Liguria (http://www.aboutliguria.com/) we decided to select the most important and interesting information about Liguria's art and culture, museums, castles and fortresses, churches, palaces and villas, in order to provide useful tips about the main sights for people in search of noteworthy itineraries and places.

On the other hand, we didn't forget about all the nature lovers and we created a special section dedicated to the several Natural Parks located in Liguria. We explored the great natural beauties enriching all the area, abounding in flora and fauna thanks to the precious presence of the Mediterranean scrub, which still today offers us the opportunity to marvel at rare and unique animal and vegetal species.

In addition, a special section was dedicated to the "Cinque Terre", five stunning and characteristic little villages diving into the sea, a landscape like few others: Monterosso, Corniglia, Vernazza, Manarola and Riomaggiore.

Furthermore, we decided to collect the main historical, artistic and natural features about the municipalities of Lerici, Porto Venere, Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Sanremo, Sarzana, Recco, Camogli and Ventimiglia, obviously not forgetting about the regional provinces: Genoa, Savona, La Spezia and Imperia (http://www.aboutliguria.com/).

We would like to remind you that no visit to Liguria would be complete without a trip to one of its beautiful islands placed in the neighborhood: here visitors will have the chance to marvel at several karst caves, jagged costs, cliffs and steep slopes, the typical Ligurian landscape. Islands are easily accessible through an efficient Ferries Service which links them to many important Ligurian cities and ports (such as Porto Venere, Genoa or La Spezia) all day long.

Special attention was also dedicated to Genoa Aquarium: in the specific section in fact you will find all the information needed for booking and visiting the original and modern structure situated near the harbor of Genoa, which hosts a wide range of rare flora and fauna marine species. Obviously, for Adults and Children.

Finally, we also added some helpful links in order to make your stay more comfortable, such as useful numbers, internet points, restaurants, pubs and cafes, and all the other information needed for having a beautiful stay in Liguria.

Marketing, Fashion and Design Courses at NABA in Milan

NABA presents its brand new courses in Retail Management, Brand Consulting, Ethical Fashion, Cinema, Physical Computing and Interactive Media Design. In Milan, Italy.

Florence, Tuscany -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/04/2010 -- NABA Summer Session 2010 provides students with a unique opportunity to explore the world capital of design and creativity and to spend two or four weeks in a stimulating and international environment making the most of the professional experience of NABA teaching staff, as well as of selected visits to museums, companies, production sites and design studios in and outside Milan.

For the 7th edition, NABA has enriched its Summer Educational Offer with brand new courses that will offer an incomparable opportunity of intensive study, practical experience and creative cultural exchange with students and professionals coming from all over the world.

In the course "A focus on … Brand Consulting" (http://www.design-summer-courses.com/brand-consulting.html) (from July 5th to July 16th), students will learn how Brand Consulting plays a major role in the fashion industry. Students enrolled in this course will learn the difference between Fashion Marketing and Brand Consulting in the realm of fashion, review the companies that are showing signs of successful branding, and breakdown the reasons why they continue to grow.

This course finds its natural completion in the program "A Focus on … Retail Management" - http://www.design-summer-courses.com/retail-management.html - (from July 20th to July 30th). With more and more retail outlets (via physical shops or e-shops) opening everyday, there has never been more of a demand for Retail Managers. This course will first and foremost discuss the importance of a Retail Manager as a Brand Ambassador as well as the importance of communication and psychology within the retail environment.

Otherwise, if you are interested in social and environmental sustainability in the fashion industry you might consider applying to the course "A Focus on … Ethical Fashion" - http://www.design-summer-courses.com/ethical-fashion.html - (from July 20th to July 30th). This course will explore the ethical fashion scenario analyzing the three most important topical areas: sustainability, ecology and recycling.

The course "A Focus on … Hacking Expression" - http://www.design-summer-courses.com/hacking-expression.html - (from July 20th to July 30th) will focus on the opportunities of existing gadgets and the technologies surrounding us; how can we use these gadgets as ingredients for new ideas? The course aims to provide students to go through an entire interaction design process from the brief, to defining the design and technical specification, to finally complete an actual working prototype of an interactive object.

If you have a passion for interactive media application, you might find a 4-week full immersion in "Interactive Media Design" ("Introduction to Interactive Media Design" from July 5th to July 16th and "Interactive Media Design Studio" from July 20th to July 30th) a suitable choice. This course introduces students to Touch Designer, a user friendly, graphic node based program that enables the integration of complex 3d and compositing along with audio analysis and manipulation for the creation of installations and live 'mixable' content across multiple screens.

These courses have an intense practical/workshop component that will enable students to participate in an event performing live visuals to music. A further possibility will be projecting live graphics on architecture.
Joining NABA Summer Session goes beyond the strictly curricular activities: students will receive a warm welcome by Milan City Government that organizes a variety of free time activities and cultural events for the entire Summer School student population (last year students enjoyed free visits to the Last Supper, La Scala Theatre, Brera Art Gallery, the Sforza Castle and happy hour and special reduced price or free admission to evening events, concerts and festivals throughout Milan).

Although students stay might be brief, the school is sure it will be able to give value to their time and fully bring into play their creative potential (Introduction Level courses) or further develop skills that they have already acquired and that they would like to enhance (Studio Level courses).

In addition, students can attend Introduction + Intermediate level courses and take the 4-week Combined Session, thus making the most of their experience in Milan.

Discover the Carnival of Viareggio and Learn Italian Language

It’s time for Viareggio Carnival: the Italian language school Centro Puccini organizes Italian language courses for foreign students during the period dedicated to the famous Carnival, in order to join culture and fun.

Florence, Tuscany -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/15/2010 -- Stop with Christmas and New Year's Eve celebrations…the real crazy event is going to start now with Viareggio Carnival!

In fact, as every year, the city of Viareggio, a beautiful seaside resort located in Versilia area (Tuscany), between January and February is going to start celebrations for the great event representing its ancient local tradition: the Carnival of Italy and Europe.

Four weeks full of events and celebrations which will go on until late, conceived in order to celebrate the craziest and most beloved Carnival in Italy with much music, colored masks and fun. Performances, district celebrations, masked parades characterized by allegorical floats, streamers and confetti. This seems to be the perfect time for visiting Viareggio, while spending a nice holiday, and perhaps a learning holiday in order to study Italian language.

The Carnival of Viareggio is a worldwide famous event, a perfect occasion to meet new people coming from different countries. This is the reason why the Italian language school Centro Puccini created the special Italian language course "Carnival Week" (http://www.centropuccini.it/courses.htm#carneval), during which students will have the chance to learn Italian language by attending morning Italian lessons, where they will have the opportunity to know new people, speak Italian, and in the evening have a good time with the carnival celebrations and parties.

In fact, such a course will include many activities such as:

- a morning standard Italian language program, conceived to improve conversation and language skills, and heighten the awareness and appreciation of Italian culture;
- an orientation tour on the carnival of Italy and Europe;
- a guided tour to the "Citadel" (the Carnival town) and to the Carnival museum;
- participation at shows and cultural events, such as fun musical comedies and masked balls;
- participation at Carnival parades.

That's the reason why the Italian language school Centro Puccini (http://www.centropuccini.it/index.html) in Viareggio is famous and appreciated: for its high quality Italian language courses and its fun!

Next sessions of the Italian language course "Carnival Week" will take place from February 1st to February 12th, and from February 15th to February 26th.
