InventHelp to Launch FundAnIdea.com, a Crowdfunding Service for Inventors

InventHelp, a leading inventor service company in Pittsburgh, PA, has announced they are creating an invention-focused crowdfunding site, FundAnIdea.com, which will launch in fall 2015.

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/24/2015 -- InventHelp, a leading inventor service company in Pittsburgh, PA, has announced they are creating an invention-focused crowdfunding site, FundAnIdea.com, which will launch in fall 2015.

The site will allow inventors to create a crowdfunding campaign to raise money to help fund their idea. Inventors will be able to upload videos, images, and other materials to build a crowdfunding campaign. What sets FundAnIdea.com apart from other crowdfunding sites is that if an idea is fully funded, InventHelp has the capabilities and resources to help inventors get in touch with companies to discuss potentially manufacturing, marketing, or licensing the product.

"Inventors are now realizing that crowdfunding is another option to assist in the creation of their idea, even if they lack the funds to do it on their own," said Robert Susa, President of InventHelp. "The biggest problem for crowdfunders right now is they may be unsure how to utilize their funds to create their product or service after their campaigns are fully funded. InventHelp has the resources to assist them."

Most crowdfunding campaigns are unsuccessful because they are not planned or produced properly. That is why FundAnIdea.com plans to offer ala carte services such as: assisting with obtaining a provisional patent, graphic design, video production services, and social media management.

"I believe that crowdfunding is going to be the new way companies and individuals will be able to fund anything from your favorite band's new album to the next smart watch," said Susa. "InventHelp's mission is to help everyday inventors, and crowdfunding corresponds with our company vision. We are very excited to start this new journey with inventors and crowdfunding donors alike."

Created with inventors in mind, FundAnIdea.com will be the only site to offer both rewards-based crowdfunding as well as equity-based crowdfunding. In rewards-based crowdfunding, rewards are given for individual contributions from many different people and the creator of the product maintains sole ownership of the project, products and services. For equity-based crowdfunding, financial backers become part-owners of the company they support and if the company performs well, they share in the profits. The equity-based crowdfunding portion of FundAnIdea.com will be powered by http://www.BankRoll.Ventures, founded and operated by Kendall Almerico, one of the top equity crowdfunding attorneys in the country, with all campaigns backed by a FINRA licensed broker-dealer.

The crowdfunding site will launch in fall 2015. Please see InventHelp.com for details. For more information, please contact Matthew Tagliavia at mtagliavia(at)inventhelp(dot)com.

Inventors to Network with Science Channel's All-American Makers Host at InventHelp's INPEX 2015

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/11/2015 -- InventHelp's Invention & New Product Exposition (INPEX) is pleased to announce that Brook Drumm, one of the experts from Science Channel's ALL-AMERICAN MAKERS, will attend INPEX 2015 and meet with inventors. The 30th Anniversary show, held June 16-18, will be at the Monroeville Convention Center, just outside of downtown Pittsburgh.

Brook Drumm has been making and creating things for as long as he can remember. He is the owner and founder of Printrbot, one of the leading 3D printing companies in the world. Give Drumm a problem and he will solve it - the harder the better. He can make, build and tinker through any sticky situation. INPEX exhibitors will have the unique opportunity to meet and talk with him at a networking event Tuesday evening, June 16th.

Each week on ALL-AMERICAN MAKERS, four top inventors/makers from around the nation pitch their homegrown products to a panel of three experts. Along with Drumm are mechanical designer and robots expert Brian Roe and venture capitalist Marc Portney. Each maker's product is put through a series of rigorous testing by Drumm and Roe to find out how it works and if it lives up to its claim. Should the product make the grade, it is then subjected to the scrutiny of real consumer focus groups. Based on the feedback of Drumm and Roe plus the focus group's input, Portney decides if he wants to invest his own money in the maker's business and help bring the product to the store shelves.

The show's first season recently premiered on the Science Channel, a division of Discovery Communications, Inc., and a home for the thought provocateur, the individual who is unafraid to ask the killer questions of "how" and "why not."

"We are so excited for our inventors to have the opportunity to meet with Brook at INPEX 2015," said Nicole Lininger, INPEX Director. "As an expert that tests products for a weekly television show, we know Brook will be able to give our exhibitors valuable insight about their products and inventions."

Inventhelp Invention Service Company Celebrates 30 Years of Business

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/06/2014 -- InventHelp® and Pittsburgh's resident Caveman … a.k.a. CAVEY, the brand mascot for InventHelp, are celebrating the company's 30th anniversary on September 30 at the City of Pittsburgh Council meeting. City Councilman, Dan Gilman, is introducing a proclamation recognizing CAVEY DAY.

"Historically, Pittsburgh has been a place of innovation," said InventHelp President, Robert Susa. "Some of America's greatest inventors were either born in this city or came here from other states or countries to fulfill their dream of making the world a better place. We're proud to call Pittsburgh our home."

WHO IS CAVEY
InventHelp's logo depicts a caveman chiseling a stone wheel. He's almost finished, but what does he do next? Any aspiring inventor can relate easily to that simple and whimsical image. It can take years to realize an invention with various successes and failures along the way. Think of Thomas Edison's quip that his light bulb took 1,000 steps to perfect versus 999 failures.

CAVEY is one of the first in a long line of serious innovators who have brought civilization anything and everything from Pittsburgh's Heinz ketchup and Westinghouse's continuous-filament incandescent light bulb, thanks to a mathematician named Nikola Tesla.

About INVENTHELP THE COMPANY
Founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh by Martin Berger, the company is a leading inventor service company. Many of the InventHelp employees, in the Cultural District headquarters, have worked for the company for some time, including Janet Price, Elaine Angert and Joanne Burke, whose combined years of service add up to 115 years. InventHelp's sister companies include Intromark Incorporated, the licensing division of InventHelp, and INPEX the trade show mentioned above.

InventHelp takes their community commitments seriously and asks employees to join outreach efforts including the collection of non-perishable food items to help stock the Salvation Army's food pantry, teaming with the U.S. Marine Corps by donating to Toys for Tots and hosting blood drives in conjunction with the Central Blood Bank.

In 2013, The InventHelp staff, along with Cavey the Caveman, volunteered at the 25th Anniversary Light Up A Child's Life campaign for Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia held at Robinson Mall in Robinson Township. President Robert Susa, along with his family, presented Make-A-Wish with a $3,900 Wishmaker donation from the company and staff. InventHelp employees also volunteered to collect shopper's donations for the Make-A-Wish Wishing Well during the Holiday season.

In the past, the trade show division, INPEX®, has hosted "Kids Day" at the Invention Show for children to display their innovative ideas. And INPEX 2005 opened its arms to Broderick Alexander, a 16-year-old aspiring inventor who is part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® program.

InventHelp is proud of its employees and association with these events and causes, and will continue to advocate employee participation to better our community. Later that month, Lindsey and her family travelled from Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, to Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida, to fulfill her dream of swimming with dolphins.

Lindsey and her family were escorted through Discovery Cove by Patrick, a dolphin trainer, who started her adventure with a behind-the-scenes tour of the dolphin area. He shared interesting facts with the young girl, who aspires to one day work with animals, such as how he starts his day at 4:00 a.m. to weigh and bucket fish for the 44 dolphins in his care.

After the tour, Lindsey met her dolphin, a gentle 35-year-old male named Akai. She was able to touch and feed Akai and join him in the lagoon for belly and backside rides. Akai and his friend Roxy treated the entire family to foot pushes, in which dolphins push the feet of a person floating on his or her stomach. Lindsey's mom said it was a bit tricky but a huge thrill.

Akai, Patrick, and Roxy were only part of the fun. Lindsey's adventures continued throughout the day, including swimming and snorkeling with thousands and fish and stingrays, touching sharks, feeding river otters, and meeting an armadillo, a pygmy marmoset and an anteater.

In a letter to Make-A-Wish, Lindsey's mother said, "It was a perfect day-a day none of us will forget."

The staff and management of InventHelp are delighted to have been Wishmakers who helped make little Lindsey's dream come true. The employees held different events throughout the month of December to raise money for Lindsey, including raffling Steelers tickets and donating $20 to wear jeans in the office for the entire month. A number of staff volunteered to help Make-A-Wish raise donations at their annual holiday drive, held at local malls in the Pittsburgh area. InventHelp matched the money raised by employees to meet the amount needed to fund Lindsey's wish.

Last November, excited for her trip, Lindsey wrote a list for a school project of things for which she was thankful. This brave young girl's top three were as follows:

1. I am thankful for God because he gave me an amazing life!
2. I am thankful for my family and friends because they love me for me.
3. I am thankful for Make-A-Wish for making my dream come true!

The InventHelp team is grateful and humbled to have been a part of this inspiring and touching event. The company plans to continue its partnership with Make-A-Wish and help another local child fulfill his or her dream later this year.
Foreman, an entrepreneur himself, has signed an exclusive long term partnership with InventHelp and will star in a series of national television commercials, as well as social media and marketing campaigns.
According to InventHelp President Robert Susa, Foreman is an exciting and fresh addition to the InventHelp family. "We are thrilled to work with George Foreman in 2014. I know that his drive and experience with new products is a perfect fit for our company. We're honored to partner with someone so accomplished, well-liked and respected as George. I couldn't be happier to feature him as the new face of InventHelp."

Foreman, nicknamed "Big George", is well known for being a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, Olympic gold medalist and successful entrepreneur. "For years, people have come to me and asked how they can pursue their ideas and inventions. It's always been my dream to help inventors. Now, I'm working together with a company who can provide access to a tough industry, educate people and leverage their expertise. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to move forward with their ideas," said Foreman.
After his retirement from boxing, his promotion of the popular George Foreman Grill, a patented electric grill that channels grease away from food for healthy cooking, helped to sell over 100 million units worldwide since it first launched. That was accomplished in only 15 years. What began as a direct response television product, quickly became available to consumers in retails stores around the world.

InventHelp Client's Install-a-Door Featured on HomeDepot.com

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/27/2014 -- InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces the placement of an InventHelp client's invention on HomeDepot.com. Install-A-Door Installation Kit is now available on the website of one of the largest improvement chain stores in the United States.

Install-A-Door Installation Kit allows an individual to mount a door in its rough opening without assistance. Designed to enhance safe placement and ensure correct installation, it augments house appeal and homeowner ability to care for and enhance the value of their homes. The inventor, who has sold and remodeled homes for 15 years through his own construction company, has used the invention and found it to cut the time needed for door installation in half. Those interested in purchasing the Install-A-Door Installation Kit can visit www.homedepot.com/p/Unbranded-Install-A-Door-Installation-Kit-8234005/204763565.

Initial Kits were manufactured by a Washington state inventor through the utilization of the Manufacturing Support Program offered through InventHelp's sister company, Intromark. The Manufacturing Support Program offers assistance to inventors looking to manufacture their own product and have stock available for sales, marketing, and distribution opportunities. Working with national distribution partner Boise Cascade Company, Install-A-Door was opted for sale by HomeDepot.com two months after completion of manufacturing initial inventory. Satisfied with his decision to purchase InventHelp services, the inventor commented, "InventHelp has gone above and beyond all my expectations. Their help and guidance have been invaluable, and I look forward to working with them in the future."

Intromark Licensing Executive Justine Mayowski worked directly with the inventor and noted, "Our client took full advantage of the services we offer here at InventHelp. By utilizing the Manufacturing Support Program, we were able to take advantage of this opportunity to sell the product on Home Depot's website."

InventHelp Community Service: Employees Donate to Annual Salvation Army Food Drive

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/27/2014 -- With the holidays right around the corner, InventHelp®, a leading inventor service company, once again took part in the Salvation Army's annual food drive last month. InventHelp's headquarters have been located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh for 30 years. For that reason, the employees of InventHelp make it their mission to help those less fortunate in the Pittsburgh region.

InventHelp employees spent most of November collecting non-perishable food items for those in need. "InventHelp has been participating in the Salvation Army's food drive since 1994. That's almost 20 years of giving back to our community, to those who need it the most," said Gia DelliGatti, InventHelp publicist.

Many employees, including the InventHelp mascot Cavey, pitched in and volunteered to help load all of the food donations into boxes. Then, the boxes were loaded into a truck and delivered to the front door of the Salvation Army in downtown Pittsburgh. It was there that Salvation Army employees graciously accepted the truckload of food, as well as posed for some photos with the InventHelp staff. "It really makes you feel good that we work in a place that allows us to help others by offering up our time and even a simple donation; we know it will go a long way," added Domenic Liberto, Licensing Executive for InventHelp's sister company, Intromark Incorporated.

InventHelp, Intromark Incorporated and INPEX are proud of our community service initiatives, and we thank all our employees who donate and volunteer for the food drives. We hope that these contributions help more people enjoy the warmth and true spirit of the holidays each season.

We hope that these contributions help more people enjoy the warmth and true spirit of the holidays each season http://www.inventhelp.com/inventhelp-community-service.asp .

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/13/2013 -- InventHelp's Invention & New Product Exposition (INPEX) is excited to announce the dates for its 29th annual INPEX show, June 18-20, 2014. INPEX, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, features inventors from the United States as well as more than 20 countries. The 2014 show will once again be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh.

InventHelp's INPEX is a unique trade show that brings inventors together with industry representatives in one convenient forum. The show also features private product searches, where inventors can present their ideas to large, well-known companies, like Elmers, SkyMall and Irwin Industrial Tools, who are looking for new products to add to their existing lines. The show will again present the INPEX Inventor's University, a series of seminars, presentations and panel discussions on topics like prototyping, patenting and manufacturing.

"We are very excited to have set the dates for our 29th annual show, and to once again host the show to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center," said Nicole Lininger, trade show director. "Our show continues to grow annually, and we look forward to expanding with more inventions and more corporations attending in 2014."

InventHelp Participates in Community Outreach Programs for More Than 10 Years

InventHelp®, known for “helping inventors since 1984” continues to provide aid to the Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, Komen Race for the Cure, Hurricane Katrina Relief and other charities.

Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/21/2013 -- From Toys for Tots to hosting blood drives, InventHelp and their employees are reaching out to the community. Judy Kinlough, a Communications Production Coordinator, places boxes in the office to encourage other employees to donate food items or paper products during the company's annual food drive that benefits the Salvation Army. A spokesman for the charity, praised her for being "one of those rare people who cares so much for others." Kinlough was also honored as a former "Woman of the Year in Business" by Womansplace, a non-profit agency that fights domestic violence, for her "exceptional work and dedication to both their careers and their communities".

Last year, Toys for Tots, a charity that InventHelp has supported for more than 10 years, received more than 125 toys for children in the Pittsburgh area from their employees. When it comes to giving blood, InventHelp is reaching new records as 20 percent of the company's 150 employees chose to participate.

Breast cancer hasn't been defeated, that's why The Komen Race for the Cure is an important event to raise awareness and funds to fight this deadly illness. "It was so rewarding to take part in an event where thousands of people were united under a common cause," said InventHelp employee Liv Dobo, who finished the 5K run with a personal best time. "Joining together in search of a cure is our way of showing support for those who have been affected by breast cancer, and the Race is a great opportunity to educate people about the disease."

Even though InventHelp is located in Pittsburgh, the company cares for "our southern neighbors" in Louisiana and other areas that were affected by Hurricane Katrina a few years ago. That's why $10,680 was raised and divided equally between the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army. In a second program, the company promised to donate $25 per new client during the month of September, which raised an additional $20,475 "to aid our fellow Americans" according to the http://www.inventhelp.com/InventHelp-Hurricane-Katrina.asp

While most teenagers are busy with Grand Theft Auto, Broderick Alexander, a 16-year-old aspiring inventor who suffers from sickle cell anemia, had a dream. When the Little Rock chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® contacted InventHelp, Broderick and his mother were flown to Pittsburgh for a four-day visit, where they received an all-access pass to INPEX-The Invention Show. Trade Show Director Nicole Lininger presented Broderick with a "Future Inventor" award, as well as a special gift from IMET Corporation – a working prototype of one of the young inventor's ideas! IMET co-founder and CTO Thomas Krol was good enough to have his people build the prototype free of charge, and Lininger arranged for an all-expenses paid trip – including an exhibit booth – for Broderick to display his invention at a future INPEX show!

Additionally, InventHelp referred Broderick to an independent patent attorney to help prepare and file a U.S. patent application for the invention, and the attorney graciously volunteered to waive his normal fees.
