Mark Tull, a photographer from Lowestoft, has announced his fundraising efforts for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Lowestoft, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/28/2014 -- Mark Tull, owner of Mark Tull Lowestoft Photography, has announced his latest fundraising effort in an attempt to beat cancer. His event, the 'Mark Tull Lowestoft Fun Run', will see Mark and other local Lowestoft residents partake in a run around the popular Suffolk seaside town.

"My fun run is an exciting event organised by myself, a photographer and fitness fanatic, in an effort to raise money for a charity that is close to me" said Mark.

"My plan is to tour Lowestoft alongside good friends Bob and Richard, with my personal trainer Andre on hand for supervision."

It's not the first event organised by the young photographer. In 2008 he ran in the Great North Run and since then has been taking part in regional athletics championships across East Anglia.

"I have a strong heritage in sport" Mark said. "I did Karate from age 6, played football for my school, then joined a Rugby club when I was 14. I became interested in athletics when I was 16 and found with my natural stamina I was a born winner!".

Mark hopes to promote the event through his company, Mark Tull Lowestoft Photography. "I am offering my clients the opportunity to donate to my cause with every order. With every 10 photos purchased from a shoot, I donate 10% of the profits to charity. I am also funding the event with the proceeds of my photography business."

The route will lead Mark and his fellow runners along the seafront, into the town centre, towards the local school and over to the train station. A celebration at nearby Pleasurewood Hills is expected after the fun run to commemorate the end of the run.

There are plans to repeat the Mark Tull Lowestoft Fun Run again in the future if enough interest is shown. Mark hopes to make the event a yearly event and to raise a regular stream of money for the charity.
