Through the non-profit&apos;s dedicated members, including a troupe of 50 hula dancers and musicians of all ages, the cast has managed to present this spectacular production 7 times in Europe and the Hawaiian Islands. Soon, on June 21st, they will again make history, this time at Angelico Concert Hall, Dominican University of California, San Rafael.<br />

How does a group that originates in Hawaii and also encompasses Samoans, Californians and Europeans, make history?  By focus, practise and persistence.  Each showing is like a reunion and requires all the students to re-group and sychronize their steps, songs, spirits.<br />

Eight halau of Maui, Kaua&apos;i, O&apos;ahu, Samoa, California, Germany and Switzerland are uniquely woven together under Ka &apos;Imi Na&apos;auao O Hawai&apos;i Nei Institute for this production to debut June 21st in Angelico Concert Hall, Dominican University of California.<br />

Recalling Hawai&apos;i began in 2010 by a special invitation to perform at Heidelberg Castle in Germany, followed by sold out shows in Basel, Switzerland and Augsburg, Germany that same year.  From 2011 through 2013, the troupe proceeded to tour Kauai, Maui, Hawaii Island and Oahu.<br />

This show is Roselle Bailey&apos;s personal interpretation of Hawai&apos;i&apos;s history from the time of creation, or Kumulipo- through all the historical highlights that have made Hawai&apos;i what it is today.  It mixes traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music and hula.  The show begins promptly at 7:00 pm. Arrive early to ensure that you see it from the time of Po and also hear Marin&apos;s Ukulele Friends Ohana play.<br />
