Gun Mate Updating Its Website Soon for Better Shopping Experience

The website of Gun Mate will be having some tweaks in the near future with the business promising better navigational experience.

Carlton, Australia -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/16/2014 -- Since it was launched, Gun Mate has established itself as a reliable business that provides quality gun accessories mostly in the Australian region. While its website is already considered up-to-date, its CEO says that it still needs a little tweaking for better navigation. Compared to other e-commerce websites, Gun Mate has provided a simple, no-fuss design. It's clean with its forest backdrop and products are arranged according to categories, making it easy for potential buyers to easily find the one they are looking for.

So what prompted the CEO to initiate the change? According to him, it is a common business practice to make services readily available through the use of websites. And since one cannot directly drop a sales pitch to visitors, the website is the only tool that an online business like Gun Mate could use to make a sale. He also mentioned that the overall experience of the visitor while on the website could make or break possible business relationships on the future.

Just like other websites, Gun Mate will be revamped to include better computer and mobile experience. It will be noted that most people are now using their mobile phones for online payments, shopping, and social media use. The company is banking on this idea and is making arrangements to make its mobile interface more usable for the buyer. It is noticeable that the "add to cart" function using its mobile interface has some slight issues. This is just one of the things the business will be looking into.

When it comes to payments, it is easy to see that the company is geared towards attracting an English-speaking audience. Prices are only stated in the dollar currency and there is no option to change this. If it wants to attract the international market, it may need to take note of this too in their list.

Will the change be grandiose for the website to feel and look absolutely different? Aaron Mulligan, gun safe expert at Gun Mate, says that it will be significant but not in a way that this will be entirely different. He said this, "The changes that will be seen in the website are mostly technical such as better upload time and if all works out, liven it up with a bit of visual changes. For now, we are still collecting some ideas from internal and external sources and deliberating which of these should be implemented. Nevertheless, we are promising a better and improved feel to it."

Gun Mate Expanding Selection to Include a New Gun Safe

Gun accessories provider Gun Mate is now ready to expand its business and will be launching a new gun safe soon.

Carlton, Australia -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/05/2014 -- After its successful debut as an online gun accessories provider in Australia, one of Gun Mate's executives is saying that they are now ready to take their game a notch higher. With its new line of products, Gun Mate is seeking to expand its market share and gain the approval of the rest of the world. Although not much has been disclosed, it was hinted that the company will be sticking to their offerings of durable but affordable products.

The owner of Gun Mate is a hunting enthusiast and this is what prompted him to start the business. One of its best sellers is its line of gun cases. According to the owner, the line was very successful not just because of the very competitive prices but more because the company made it a point to only adhere to the practice of selling quality products. Aside from this, most of their products are said to have a no-fuss design that everybody finds easy to use.

Another company, GunSafes.com recently announced that it will be making gun safe products of The Gun Box available in its store. Customers are given the option to choose from three main categories. Aside from the aircraft strength aluminum alloy steel, customers may purchase one that feature a biometric fingerprint scanner complete with GPS tracking technology. Consumers are now wondering if Gun Mate will have similar products.

Meanwhile, Fox reported on May 15 that small gun safes from some of the reputable companies are not safe for kids as claimed by security specialists. These can be easily prodded with the use of hanger while others have locks that reset after these have been dropped. According to the investigative attorney, Marc Weber Tobias, the main culprit was the use of solenoid lock mechanisms in portable gun safes.

Aaron Mulligan, a gun expert at Gun Mate™, was asked whether the company can guarantee the safety of the kids with the new gun safe and if he was willing to give a hint on its size and how it would look like. He confidently said this, "So far, with our previous gun safes, we've never had any issues about these being broken into by kids. Before we place any product out in the market, rest assured these did not just pass market standards but we at the company test it ourselves too just in case something was overlooked. How will the new product look and feel like? I kind of liked it so I'm sure the public will love it too."

Gun Mate's New Trail Camera Launching in the Market Soon

Carlton, Australia -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/20/2014 -- The company Gun Mate, a provider of gun safes and other types of gun accessories, has been easily welcomed by gun and hunting enthusiasts for a valid reason. Its success is attributed to its solid determination to only provide reliable and quality products to its buyers while taking into account their budget. Just recently, one its executives said that it will be rolling out its newest trail camera out in the market soon. While the company is still secretive about the features of the said product, it hinted that it will rival any of the best trail cameras available online.

It can be recalled that in March 2010, the Raptor WiFi camera system was introduced to the market. It was the very first to feature the use a WiFi access point. Once this camera captures a photo with its motion-activation feature, the photo will be transmitted through a WiFi access point and after 30 seconds, this will be sent to the user's email. The photo can then be easily accessed through a PC or a cell phone. Its battery was capable of lasting for 3 months but when purchased with a Solar Panel, this can be left unattended for a year. This trail camera made the work of hunters easier as one no longer needed to check their electronic spies constantly in the field while homeowners are easily alerted if any unwanted animals are lurking in their yards or fields. Raptor WiFi cameras retailed at $999.95 to $1,549.95 depending on add-ons.

Two years later after the release of the Raptor WiFi camera, ICOtec took on a different approach. Instead of offering trail cameras that were overly complicated, its Sasquatch line was engineered for simplicity and ease of use without necessarily compensating for needed features. Compact, extended battery life, 5.0 megapixel images and an internal memory of 128MB are just some of the features that the TC50 and TC55 have. What made these attractive over other counterparts are their very affordable prices.

The trail cameras in Gun Mate are currently priced anywhere from $279 to $399. When Aaron Mulligan, the lead gun information content writer for Gun Mate, was asked if the new camera will be as expensive and elaborate as the Raptor WiFi series or will this be a no-fuss, affordable model like the ICOtec cameras, he only laughed and said this," I don't want to spoil the surprise. But as you can see in our website, our products are very affordable. Our company wants people to think that they can engage in sports like hunting without the need to break their budgets. Will this be affordable as our other trail camera products and as feature-rich as the ones currently being sold in the market? All I can say is that we pride ourselves for having products that are durable and up-to-date."

Melbourne Gun Club May 2014 Shoot Program: Gun Mate Encourages Participation

The Melbourne Gun Club is now welcoming participation from its members in its May 2014 Shoot Program where winners in activities like the Skeet Bonanza will be given cash prizes and other awards.

Carlton, Victoria -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/05/2014 -- The Melbourne Gun Club has officially announced its May 2014 Shoot Program open to its members to be held at the club's grounds. This program is open to its adult, junior and super junior members. The Melbourne Gun Club is recognised as one of the biggest and most equipped clay target shooting clubs in Australasia. The club continually supports gun sports by holding shooting competitions and this May, with activities such as the Skeet Bonanza, this is set out to attract more people into trying it out.

Only existing members and their family members will be able to join in the said programs that mostly start at 11:00am. One of its most anticipated events is the Skeet Bonanza that will commence on May 3-4 at 9:00am where it will be featuring an all-day Saturday sale on Calcutta Raffle tickets. Before the draw, participants will be treated on a free barbecue on Saturday night. Whoever wins the Overall High Gun program will be bringing home a cash prize of $600, a sash and a trophy while Graded and Section High Guns winners will be awarded $300 cash prize and a sash.

To encourage public participation, the club is now offering a Come & Try session where participants will be coached by the more experienced members of the club. This is scheduled every first week of the month and interested applicants will only be entertained through per booking schedule. Slots are only limited for 35 people each month. Fees of $60 for adults and $20 for juniors are applicable and a deposit of 50% will be required for those booking in groups of five. The Come & Try activity usually lasts for 1.5 to 2 hours, giving participants ample time to gauge if they like the sport.

Aaron Mulligan, a gun expert at Gun Mate™, said that they are supporting this event since Melbourne Gun Club only promotes the use of guns when safety is prioritised. He was quoted saying, "A business like Gun Mate is not your regular retail provider since the products we are offering to the public are not your standard home appliances. The use of guns has been continually frowned upon because of accidents brought about by irresponsible gun ownership. We know for a fact that the Melbourne Gun Club only accepts participants that have gun licenses and we see this as a way to promote its responsible use. While I am not blatantly encouraging that everyone should buy a gun, I know for a fact that gun sport is liberating since I participate in hunting activities myself and I hope that other people would come to love the sport just like I do."

For more information on this press release visit: http://www.releasewire.com/press-releases/release-3.htm

Media Relations Contact

Grant Merriel
Telephone: 96 160 601 294
Email: Click to Email Grant Merriel
Web: http://www.gunmate.com.au
