Scott Tucker Announces Beginning of Costa Rica Mission

Spiritual leader Scott Tucker will travel to Costa Rica for an educational and charity mission. Never Be Bored will feature the sendoff event and support Tucker with a fundraising drive this winter.

Chicago, IL -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/09/2015 -- Never Be Bored, the place where anybody can find exciting things to do or create, will spotlight an upcoming sendoff and fundraiser for spiritual leader and Chicago, IL educator Scott Tucker. The "Help Costa Rica" event, scheduled for early December, will assist Tucker on his mission to travel Costa Rica to help and educate children in poverty.

"It takes more than money to change lives, it takes heart, commitment, and above all, faith," says Never Be Bored editor Kent Newman. "Help Costa Rica is an organization that has recently become something of a pet cause in the Never Be Bored office. We love the work that they do, and it has inspired all of us here to involve our families to help other families."

Tucker and his education staff will be traveling into the Central American country of Costa Rica to help undernourished children and teach parents about nutrition. They will additionally provide dental care at three clinics around the country with a revolving team that gives Costa Ricans access to specialized care such as surgery.

"My mission is and has always been focused on helping children," says Tucker. "One of the main ways I aim to do that is with education, we hope to be operating 8 educational projects throughout Costa Rica. When children participate in the education program, they not only receive a faith-based education, they also receive breakfast and lunch."

Parents of children in "Help Costa Rica" will be able to join the education program with Tucker's 'School for Parents' initiative. Tucker believes that educating parents on healthy relationships and important life skills for families will make happier children and families.

Tucker also offers aid during natural disasters, vocational education to help adults build marketable skills, and spiritual guidance to Costa Rican children who are at risk. The mission will be featured on the Never Be Bored website this winter with links to donation sites and information on Tucker's budget.

AMG Services Opens Corporate Day Care Center

Never Be Bored highlights AMG Services’ new corporate day care center, which meets the growing demand for workplace child care.

Bloomington, IN -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/03/2015 -- AMG Services will unveil a new day care center with a capacity for 138 children this fall. NeverBeBored.net has commended AMG Services, noting that more companies should follow their lead in order to curb absenteeism and boost workplace efficiency.

"When families know their children are safe and close, they tend to be more productive," says Jake Mason, spokesman for the website Never Be Bored. "If your children are in the same building, where you are able to stop by and check on them, you can bet parents will be far less stressed and better able to pay attention to work matters."

Corporate assistance for day care is a growing trend, but only a few corporations in the San Francisco Bay Area provide on-site facilities. More than half of American women with preschool children work, up four times from 1950. The average age of AMG Services company's employees is 34, so majority of their employees having young children who need daycare. So far, 40 children between six weeks and six years of age have been enrolled in the seven-classroom, custom-built day care center. NeverBeBored.net has commended AMG Services, saying more companies should follow their lead, and there would be less employee absences.

"It is a model day care program," said Jake Hammond, operations manager AMG Services. "Our Child Development Center, which will offer expert care and developmental guidance, will have a program that consists of five components: quality care, developmental activities, play curriculum, daily activity reports and parental support."

The center is open every working day from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will offer sessions for older children during summer break. A parent advisory council offers advice from parents on the day care program. Parents can always check in on their children during lunch breaks.

"AMG Services owes its success to our outstanding employees," said Hammond. "Investing in a corporate day care center is well worth the return in greater employee peace of mind and productivity. Corporate day care is a benefit that should be made available to more American workers."

AMG Services is a technology company focusing on the development, manufacturing, and marketing of technology products. AMG Services subsidizes a portion of the day care center cost and makes scholarships available to employees with family incomes of less than $25,000. The center is open every working day from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. A parent advisory council offers advice from parents on the day care program.

Scott Tucker Starts Slam Poetry Club

Scott Tucker has created the monthly club for amateur and professional poets to come together and improve their poetry in Spokane, WA. Never Be Bored will feature the club with details on meeting times and places.

Spokane, WA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/20/2015 -- Never Be Bored, an entertainment website dedicated to thrilling its readers, will feature Scott Tucker's newly formed slam poetry club in Spokane, WA. The feature will detail Tucker's motivation for starting the club and his planned schedule for membership meetings.

"Our next feature will be totally dedicated to poetry, with Scott Tucker at the center of it explaining why he has to make this new club," says Never Be Bored contributor John Hamilton. "It is important for us to cover the happenings of the poetry world, unfortunately there isn't always a lot going on. We choose April as our poetry month because spring seems to awaken all the sleepy poets out there and we like to catch them at their most fresh."

The slam poetry club will meet at a number of public coffee houses after 10pm exclusively. Members of the club are encouraged to bring their own poetry with extra notebook paper for criticism given and received by other members. Poetry will be read at every club meeting on a voluntary basis in the public coffee house setting.

"There have been a few months of planning and discussion before I decided to officially announce the club's formation," says Tucker. "The simplicity of starting a club has escaped me, I have spent weeks considering what the ideal slam poetry club would look like. Thank goodness for my predecessors or I would have just been grasping at straws, I've never formed a club like this before and needed so much help."

Tucker's slam poetry club will be open for new members to participate at the first official coffee house meeting. Private communication with Tucker and existing members will be available online through the Never Be Bored website this November.

Scott Tucker Announces Self Published Spanish Phrase Book

Travel pro Scott Tucker announces his newest self published Spanish Phrase Book which is suitable for use in Central American countries. Never Be Bored to feature the phrase book, interview Tucker, and review the usefulness of the book.

Austin, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/06/2015 -- Never Be Bored, a web center for non stop information about anything entertainment related, will review the recently released Scott Tucker "Spanish Phrase Book" in an upcoming blog post in their 'Travel Series'. The phrase book is usable for real life conversation in most Spanish speaking Central American countries.

"Traveling can be really hard for Americans who have not learned how to speak a second language," says Never Be Bored writer Ben Hasten. "Even worse for some people is the difficulty that technology can present when traveling. This book is an excellent solution for people who want to be able to effectively communicate their needs by referencing something that does not need a signal or compatible power hookup to use."

The book, which Tucker published by hand, features more than 50 subjects and their possible conversational phrases translated from North American English to Central American Spanish. Each subject is listed in the beginning of the book, most common phrases for traveling situations are listed in the first chapter.

"This is my first self published book actually, I am quite curious to see what Never Be Bored thinks of the real life application of it," says Tucker. "When my parents went to Panama and Mexico last year on a cruise they could not get their phones to work correctly and found themselves needing a phrase book. Of course there are plenty of phrase books in the world already but this one is quite small and effective, at least that's how I designed it to be."

The recently published book will be available for purchase in select independent coffee shops within the greater Austin area of Central Texas. Tucker has produced a limited number of phrase books for the initial volume. A revised version of the book with suggested additions from real life applications by readers will be released in 2017.

Never Be Bored will publish a blog post featuring an interview with Tucker and a brief report on reader's first impressions.
"Fall is going to be beautiful in the states like usual, and our readers will drool for these inspiring photos," says Ben Bradley, editor of Never Be Bored.
Scott Tucker Produces New Weekly Cartoon

Never Be Bored will publish the new Scott Tucker cartoons weekly next summer. The cartoon will spotlight the average 'Dad on Vacation'.

Chicago, IL -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/31/2015 -- Never Be Bored, the homepage for safe and exciting family friendly entertainment, will post weekly cartoons from Scott Tucker's new "Dad's on Vacation" series. Scott Tucker will produce one frame per week next summer, exclusively for Never Be Bored.

"When I was a kid, I loved the Sunday newspaper comics my dad would lovingly share with me," says Never Be Bored writer Johnathon Cary. "Good, clean comics are hard to come by these days on the internet, which is why Scott Tucker is a very appreciated addition to our website. Not a lot of people are drawing or looking for simple single frame monochrome comics anymore, but we think what he does is special."

The comic, which features a Dad and his family on vacation, is drawn in black and gray scale similar to newspaper and magazine comics from the 1990's. Each weekly frame will be drawn by hand by Tucker, who signs the bottom left hand corner of each frame to authenticate the comic.

"I feel a great burden to give back some humor and joy to the world," says Tucker. "There is so much war and violence going on right now, and I don't mean to take away from the seriousness of those issues but there are other emotions we need to feel. I am drawing this series because I love being a dad on vacation more than anything else and you know what it's quite funny too."

The weekly comic will be available online for free at Never Be Bored as well as on Tucker's personal blog. After the conclusion of the weekly series Tucker will publish a paper zine containing each comic in index card size.

Never Be Bored will begin posting Tucker's weekly comic at the end of May.
The function starts at 9am on October 13, with activities to teach children of all ages about local animals.

"There are so many camps and events to learn about mammals, this camp will expand on the animal kingdom," says Never Be Bored contributor Stanley Greyson. "We support people like Scott Tucker who want to educate the public in a fun way. He has this incredible approach of building activities and educational lectures around awareness and real life application of animal knowledge."

"The enthusiastic staff at Washing Rescue were happy to help me put this on for the public," says Tucker. "They are just as concerned as I am with awareness and education about reptiles and the relationship they have with the public. We want to spread the truth and squash and misconceptions that kids and parents might have about the local wildlife."

Scott Tucker is offering a new Eastern Architecture class in his online course series. Never Be Bored spotlights the class with an interview and class preview.

Boston, MA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/24/2015 -- Never Be Bored will release a recent interview with architect Scott Tucker in their upcoming article this month. In the interview Tucker is questioned about his new Eastern Architecture class as well as how he came to be in the position he is in.

"Tucker is someone we have been following for a good while now," says Howard Liner senior editor of Never Be Bored. "This new course he's offering is something new for both him and the architecture community as it currently stands. By constantly implementing these new ideas and keeping things fresh, Tucker remains one of the foremost figures in his field."

The course will cover traditional design and architecture of the past several decades. There will be in-depth discussion of several projects large and small including complete schematics and notes from the original building team. Tucker hopes to bring new inspiration to the field by teaching the class.

"Some of the things I observed in the east I had never seen before," says Tucker. "And that is with 15 years experience in the field. I thought that if I could share this information with others in the business, it could at least start the spark of innovation or a new way to look at an old problem."

Tucker's new course is currently open for registration and will remain so until the end of the month or all spots are filled. See Never Be Bored for more information and class schedule.

Scott Tucker Offers Plumbing Repair Courses

Business owner Scott Tucker has recently announced a new home plumbing course open to the public. Never Be Bored to host online registration and preview course content.

Louisville, KY -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/06/2015 -- In an upcoming article, Never Be Bored will preview plumber Scott Tucker's new live and online course. The course will feature over nine hours of video along with photos and written instructions. Tucker will work hands on throughout all projects to work with homeowners with little experience. The course begins next month.

"Tucker definitely has all his ducks in a row with this one," says Rich Setters of Never Be Bored. "He was incredibly organized and well spoken when we got together a few months ago. Needless to say we had a smooth and enjoyable time putting this program together with him. We think this will really help the average person saving money with small home repairs they can easily do themselves after taking this course."

The class will include installation and repair of sinks, toilets, and other piping throughout the home. Tucker will show students how to inspect pipes and seals to help stop potential problems before they start.

"I really just wanted to help out new homeowners with some basic skills," says Tucker. "There are so many things people can do on their own without hiring an expensive repairman. Granted there are things out of reach, but those are the exception not the rule. I hope this course will help people save some money while learning a new skill in the process."

The Scott Tucker art development and promotion company will curate and host “Under The Black Light,” a black light poster retrospective. Never Be Bored will feature the art online, as well as interview the show’s hosts and several black light artists.

San Francisco, CA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/27/2015 -- Never Be Bored, a site that shares interesting ideas and activities to keep boredom at bay, will cover Scott Tucker's "Under The Black Light" gallery show this June. The show will feature both vintage and modern black light posters.

"Far out black light posters are probably not the first thing you think of when you hear the words modern art," says Crawford Vandergarden, Never Be Bored contributor. "But there is a growing movement of new artists who embrace black light as a valid medium – and people are loving it, and paying top dollar for pieces. Our readers who adore art can get a sneak peek of this movement."

The gallery show will take place at the Scott Tucker offices. The main room will display new works by up and coming black light artists, while two other rooms will show off vintage posters from the past five decades. Pieces by modern black light artists will be for sale, and many artists will attend the opening night party.

"We can't wait for our opening night," says Jill Garfinski, Tucker's company talent manager. "Some of these artists have been developing their talent for years, and this is the first chance they get at showing off. We're hoping that people come out in droves and buy pieces – our artists deserve some recognition."

The opening night soiree for "Under The Black Light" will not only feature dimmed rooms and black lights, but also an open bar, light snacks, and electronic music by local artists. Never Be Bored will be at the event to talk to attendees, artists, and show curators for an upcoming feature on the website.

Scott Tucker Announces Graphic Design Workshop with Never Be Bored

Graphic Designer Scott Tucker announces beginner level workshop will be held this summer at local community center. Never Be Bored will provide details on workshop dates and requirements in an upcoming educator spotlight.

New York, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/24/2015 -- Scott Tucker announced he will be teaching a graphic design workshop this spring in San Jose, CA. The designer is taking a break from working on his latest project to teach the workshop to local graphic designers in his community. Never Be Bored will publish an article detailing what skills and concepts the workshop will be teaching.

"Teaching is something I've always imagined myself doing," says Tucker. "I have learned all I think I can with higher education for Graphic Design and Animation, but originally I wanted to teach and I'm excited for this opportunity. Never Be Bored is one of my favorite sites and I think they will help me spread the word about the workshop."

Tucker has contributed work to several large graphic projects for video game consoles and desktop games. He has not worked on large projects for more than 9 years and now works with smaller projects that require advanced design work with the newest and most advanced design technology.

"This workshop will be a great opportunity for Tucker to get back to basics," says Samantha Hunt, writer for Never Be Bored. "The workshop will be for the beginner level graphics designers because Tucker is trying to really better his own knowledge of new software while he teaches others. It's going to be a fun way to spend the summer for anybody who's lucky enough to get into any of the workshop dates."

The previously announced Monday/Wednesday summer workshop has been booked full at the community center, Never Be Bored will announce additional dates which Tucker plans to finalize this month.

The students enrolled to attend the workshop are required to be graphic design majors and community members interested in a career in game development and design. Though students of the workshop will only be designing small scale games, Tucker will look at bigger projects his students have been developing after workshop hours.

Carpenter Scott Tucker Donates Bookshelves to New Library

Never Be Bored features carpenter Scott Tucker in their upcoming article. Exclusive photos of Tucker’s handcrafted bookshelves will be hosted on the site.

Los Angeles, CA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/20/2015 -- The site that keeps everyone active and learning, Never Be Bored, is focusing on Scott Tucker in an upcoming article. Tucker is the owner and head carpenter of 'Hardwood Designs' furniture store. Tucker has announced plans to donate bookshelves to the Hesse Library. This will be the third time Tucker has donated his work to the community.

"The work Tucker does is the best I've seen," says Jay Miller, project director of the library. "We had been working with an online company for most of the furniture when he offered his services. He will be given complete artistic freedom for anything he makes for us."

The Hesse library has been stuck in the planning stages for the past three years. Tucker has supported the project from the beginning to expedite the building process so the area can have a library after 12 years of being without.

"I had plans to make this furniture for them as soon as I heard about the plans," says Tucker. "The last local library was lost in a fire 12 years ago and the community has been waiting for a long time for this. A lot of the work is already completed on my end. I'm just waiting for the exact specifications."

Miller says that the library should be ready for Tucker to start installing his work within the next couple of months. He hopes to also extend Tucker's job to include extra contracted work as well.

"There is a lot of other furniture we'd love for him to do," Miller continues. "Once the initial building is done we will know how much is left in the budget and what we can offer Tucker for more work."

The Hesse Library will be located on Thompson St. behind the old firehouse. It is scheduled to be open later this year.

Artist Scott Tucker Chosen for Town Hall Mural

Local artist Scott Tucker has been picked by the community to paint a mural on the town hall building. Never Be Bored hosts exclusive photos and video time lapse of the entire process.

San Francisco, CA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/14/2015 -- Never Be Bored features Scott Tucker, a canvas and mural artist, in their upcoming article. Tucker will paint the new town hall mural on South Main Street this coming spring. The mural will cover three sides of the building, covering almost three thousand square feet, making it the largest work Tucker has taken on.

"I was surprised when I got the message that I had been chosen," says Tucker. "I honestly didn't even know I was even in the running. The people in this town are really like family and I am very grateful to them all. I hope to be able to put that love and respect into this work."

The title of the mural will be "Ties That Bind," a tribute to outstanding community members of the past and present. The building has recently been renovated on the interior which the city hopes to match on the outside. The town says they trust Tucker and have given him artistic freedom to go where he wishes from there.

"Scott has been helping the town since he moved there over 20 years ago," says Monte Freidman, staff writer at Never Be Bored. "He has donated countless hours to schools and hospitals and is really a very talented artist and selfless person."

Work on the mural is scheduled to start in early spring with a projected end date this fall. All supplies will be provided by the town by donation, additional labor provided by the volunteer fire department members.

"This is the biggest job I've ever accepted so I want to be as prepared as possible. I understand there are always setbacks and problems that arise on the job, but I want to at least know what I might be dealing with," says Tucker.

Other mural artists will be collaborating with Tucker to finalize the details of the project before it begins. The project preview will be featured on the Never Be Bored site.

The interest from both the community and neighboring businesses has been very high, boasting an 85% compliance rate last survey. Details for registration and all other information to be found at Never Be Bored.
Tory, in conjunction with AMG Services, will be offering classes at Hillman Community College this year for the first time. The class is for beginners who want to cultivate their knowledge of architecture basics.

"Nothing is more rewarding than continued learning – and this new course will be perfect for so many people," says Nancy Humes, graphic designer from Never Be Bored. "Being able to supply productive activities is one of Never Be Bored's main goals, and this jumped out at us the moment we saw it."

The class, which will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for 12 weeks over the summer, will feature a variety of projects, guest speakers, and after hours visits to prominent buildings in the downtown area. Enrollment is capped at 35 students.

"AMG is more than just a construction company, and part of the reason we're offering these classes is to get that information out there," says instructor Tory. "We also want to help the public get involved if they have the interest. Architecture is not easy, but it is feasible for most people if they truly have an interest. We are putting out that first stepping stone to see if anyone jumps on."

People from all walks of life are encouraged to learn about basic architecture with this course. AMG Services and Hillman Community College plan to offer the same beginner classes again in the fall as well as intermediate level courses if students want to continue their architecture learning.

About AMG Services Founded in 2001, AMG Services has offered construction, contracting, and consulting services for more than a dozen years. Doubling as an architecture firm and construction team they are currently taking new contracts from private and public sources. The firm also participates in philanthropic and community events throughout the year.
