The plaintiff was packing her car after a stay at a ski chalet in Lackawaxen Township, when she slipped on the snow covered driveway.

The fall resulted in two fractures and dislocated right ankle. To repair the damage, she required surgery, during which a plate was secured to the ankle with eight screws.
