Eploy Set to Lead the Way With a Ground-breaking New Version of Its Online Recruitment Software

Kidderminster, Worcestershire -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/03/2009 -- eploy® has announced that next month it is set to launch the industry's most advanced, yet user friendly web-based recruitment software system. eploy®'s founders' Paul Burgess and Christopher Bogh claim that this ground-breaking release has only been made possible because they have spent the last 11-years building eploy® from the ground-up as a completely browser based system, and developed a foundation that can take advantage of the latest technologies.

"eploy® was the UK's first recruitment software solution to be built right from the start as a true browser based system, " confirms Paul Burgess, Managing Director. "This was no mean feat and certainly a significant undertaking for any professional software company. However, by continuing to innovate and update the software using the latest Microsoft technologies, eploy® is now uniquely placed to take full advantage of the many web technologies that our R&D team have been testing and evaluating over the last 2 years and waiting to mature."

Central to eploy®'s latest release is the introduction of a new customisable interface called 'Project Embrace' which makes use of drag and drop web technology. For the first time this enables the user to have complete control of all their system interfaces. eploy® users can select exactly what information they wish to display on their dashboard, menu pages, detailed view pages and summary screens... even bespoke fields that have been added just for them.

The software also features a wealth of innovative web based tools including a history of records viewed, favourites, quick search and view facilities that open up in drag and drop windows. The system also enables the user to really harness the latest recruitment technologies such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Google and Online CV Searches.

Furthermore, many new interactive business intelligence reports have been added which allow users to drag and drop search criteria to group and filter reports dynamically, they can even export report data straight to CSV or Excel for further analysis.

"As Internet users have become much more familiar with dynamic, customisable websites such as the BBC website & iGoogle, we felt it was the right time to release a version of our software that incorporates all the advanced recruitment tools we have developed over the last 11 years into an instantly recognisable and easy to use interface, which will ultimately improve ease of use and reduce training costs," added Paul.

Christopher Bogh, eploy®'s Technical Director concluded: "As a UK company, we often come across supposed 'web based' systems but it is usually the case that they can't be accessed from any computer just by typing the address into the URL of a web browser and instead, they require the installation of software or a specialist iPhone application. In our opinion, this is not reflecting the nature of true browser based systems as there are obvious boundaries and disadvantages to such a setup. For instance, installing any type of software onto a remote computer will often cause compatibility & support problems and that's if you even have permission to install it in the first place... Something you certainly can't do in a motorway service station or Internet cafe. We believe our new eploy® system illustrates what can be achieved with a browser based system and how it can utilise the latest advanced web technologies to revolutionise the way our customers work."

Current clients successfully using eploy® include the British Heart Foundation, Foyles, The Cloud, Charteris, the Works, ARRK R&D, Riada Recruitment and Agilisys, plus many more recruitment agencies and corporate clients operating in the UK and overseas.

British Heart Foundation Adopts eploy Recruitment Software

Kidderminster, Worcestershire -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/24/2009 -- Leading charity, the British Heart Foundation (BHF), has adopted eploy®'s online recruitment software. The investment will allow the organisation to streamline its hiring function and extend access to the selection process to its line managers. The web-based recruitment service, which is hosted by eploy®, integrates transparently with the BHF candidate career portal to provide prospective candidates easy access to opportunities across the country and presents a single management interface for the charity's recruitment function.

The BHF is one of the country's most innovative and successful charities operating 560 shops that employ over 1700 permanent, part time and volunteer staff and an additional 430 staff at its headquarters and regional locations. The new service provides a 'hiring manager portal' that gives all hiring managers secure access to the process allowing new vacancies to be requisitioned online, opinions to be expressed and candidate approvals or rejections to be made at all stages. Authorisations are automatically emailed to the HR department.

The British Heart's Foundations' Director of Human Resources, Julie Weston, said: "We implemented eploy® because we wanted to improve the ease with which supporters and the general public could find paid and volunteer roles within the BHF. The application has also helped streamline our internal processes and improve our management of the recruitment process."

The eploy® software provides template forms, automatic skilling from job descriptions and gives hiring managers full visibility of all candidates and short-lists. "This provides BHF with a faster and more effective recruitment procedure," confirmed Paul Browne, Project Manager.

"We found eploy® to be a cost-effective solution that is straightforward to manage and easy to use. It addresses the nature and structure of the charity and offers optional back-office functions. The hiring portal has been well received by managers who welcome its collaborative nature and flexibility," continued Rebecca Birs, Recruitment Manager.
