Fort Worth Dentist Dr Peter KU demonstrates the festive spirit with free dental care

Fort Worth, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/17/2014 -- Christmas came early this year for some fortunate Fort Worth residents. Local dentist, H. Peter Ku, D.D.S. hosted a free dental day on Dec. 12, where he and his staff set aside a full day to perform needed dental work on the uninsured.

Dr. Ku has had a dental practice on the west side of Fort Worth for more than 24 years. For him, it's more than just a job. It's his community. And he feels a responsibility to give back to the community in any way he can. Though he has hosted free dental days in the past, there's something special about having one during the holiday season. One of Dr. Ku's staff members said , "We all tend to get complacent and take for granted what we have – but being able to give back in this way helped to remind us how blessed we really are."

Michelle Hines, one of the patients that Dr. Ku had the chance to treat, had two fillings and a cracked molar repaired. Dr. Ku's office lead the charge, but he wasn't working alone.
