A native of Southern California, Dr. Abazari attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery and was awarded Honors in Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry by the American Society of Dentistry for Children. She then completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry, and received her Masters of Science degree, with a minor in preventive dentistry. She has authored articles associated with her dental research, and has been a speaker at dental meetings.

Dr. Abazari is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, Santa Clara Dental Society, and Mid-Peninsula Dental Society.
