Exciting New Childcare Opportunities Announced for Freehold-Area Residents

The YMCA of Western Monmouth County is encouraging parents in need of childcare to learn more about their daycare programs and summer day camp.

Freehold, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/09/2015 -- The need for reliable childcare continues continues to be an ever present concern for working parents. In fact, a recent survey of parents revealed a stunning 84 percent declared finding care for their children to be either difficult or impossible. Parents state they want their children to be safe and properly cared for, but they also want them to have fun and be exposed to educational activities as well.

Preschool programs and educational opportunities for infants and toddlers are proving to be necessities for preparing children for a future of success. With this in mind, the YMCA of Western Monmouth County is announcing an offering of childcare services, and they are doing everything possible to spread the word to area parents in need of these programs.

Ashley Yurcisin, spokesperson for the organization described the services they have to offer at the YMCA. "We are a family-oriented and community-minded organization. We see it as our mission to help keep our communities strong. We feel that by providing these services, we help children but we also are filling a need for the parents as well. This is why we offer a variety of classes and programs, in order to meet the needs of as many local families as possible."

The center offers a Freehold New Jersey Childcare program for infants six weeks of age up to five-years old. This daycare also offers preschool and Pre-K classes, with children grouped together with others in their own age range. Each class is provided with enriching activities designed for their current stage of development.

There are also after-school programs for older children, summer day camps and swimming lessons for children of all ages. School aged children will also be provided with educational programs that are fun and exciting for all. The summer programs take advantage of the favorable weather to get children outside and teach them more about nature.

"Our facilities and programs are all state licensed and every class is run by a highly educated and experienced teacher or childcare provider," Stated Yurcision. "As dedicated as we are to education, we are equally as dedicated to healthy lifestyles and safety. This is why we also incorporate lessons regarding nutrition and exercise into our curriculum. The children are taught safety skills and all of our staff are trained in CPR and first-aid."

The YMCA is encouraging any parents who are struggling to find daycare that provides the services they need, to call them. Yurcision added, "Even if their daycare needs are met, we encourage parents to enroll their children in our summer camp or with us for swimming lessons. The children will have the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and stay active and healthy."

YMCA of Western Monmouth County offers the 10 percent discount on the first month's tuition

Freehold, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/23/2015 -- The YMCA of Western Monmouth County announces a 10 percent discount on Freehold New Jersey Childcare for those registering before May 31st. Individuals who sign up by this date receive the discount on their first month's tuition in the childcare program, which provides for children between the ages of zero and five. Children taking part in the program receive the best possible learning opportunities in an environment which is safe, warm and loving, and parents find they feel confident leaving their child with the staff at the YMCA.

"The YMCA of Western Monmouth County understands parents are entrusting the most important person in their life to our care. Children between the ages of zero and six need a wide range of activities to encourage growth, and our childcare staff remains committed to providing these opportunities. The program is state licensed and has been created to develop each child's social, intellectual, emotional and physical growth," Ashley Yurcisin, spokesperson for YMCA of Western Monmouth County, explains.

Infants in the program receive individualized attention in a clean, safe and secure environment, with the goal being to provide a home away from home. The warm, nurturing staff at the center work with parents to create a partnership in caring for the infant. In addition, each child follows their own unique schedule, and parents are kept informed on a daily basis to ensure everyone understands the infant's routine.

"Children between the ages of six weeks and 15 months take part in the infant program. Those who do so become involved in interactive play and self discovery, and quiet time is a part of the daily routine. The staff works to stimulate the natural curiosity of each child, while helping to develop their physical, social and language skills. The environment encourages exploration and growth to ensure each child reaches their full potential," Yurcisin continues.

Children, as they grow, move through various parts of the childcare program. The waddlers program accommodates those ages 15 to 27 months and encourages independence and self-help skills to help the child prepare for the toddler program. This program is for those ages 27 months to three years and provides a structured routine which is also flexible. Here children are introduced to dressing, potty-training and feeding.

"When children potty train, they move up to the pre-school program where interaction and socialization are encouraged. In addition, children are introduced to the computer and may take part in swimming lessons and other activities. Those preparing for kindergarten move to the Pre-K program when they will be entering kindergarten the following September. Children taking part in this program obtain the foundation needed to successfully transition to school. Consider the childcare program at YMCA of Western Monmouth County for all of your childcare needs, as there is a program right for your child," Yurcisin declares.
