75% of the World in Insecure Employment

Eastleigh, Hampshire -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/18/2015 -- The UN agency, the International Labour Organization (ILO), has recently released a report suggesting that up to 75% of workers in the world are not in stable employment. It also goes further to suggest that this widespread insecurity could be hurting the global economy. The report looked at 180 countries and purported to cover 84% of the world's pool of labour. Despite the rhetoric of a growing economy some figures also estimate that 201 million people are currently unemployed, a number which is 30 million higher than 2008 when the world went into recession.

The implications of these figures will undoubtedly be crucial to the shaping of the future employment market. They could play an instrumental role in determining the immediate and upcoming working conditions of employees. With most of the world in unstable employment, both employers and employees will be cautious about how this could impact their daily life.

Are Integrated and Shared Legal Services the Way Forward

Eastleigh Hampshire, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/15/2015 -- It is anticipated that joined legal services are a potential way forward, enhancing and increasing efficiency – especially approaching the time of the General Election. Key news lies in the assembling a tri-council partnership named ' Shape Partnership Services' which has seen Mendip District Council pairing up with other borough councils to allow for shared legal services. The providing of legal services streamlined efficiently into one place could appear especially important regarding efficiency.

The initiative, in the above example, is anticipated to deliver savings of 10% to 15%. Thus allows for anticipated outcomes such as improved resilience, customer service and accessibility. A number of legal services are expected to take the initiative accordingly, not necessarily at a borough level, but even in their terms of service provision.

Aston Brookes are a team of qualified solicitors delivering a diverse range of legal services. They have years of experience providing a fully integrated service as well as being frequent commentators on legal matters. They were quick to reflect on the moves made in the creation of Shape Partnership Services.

"It is great to see councils taking steps to improve the efficiency of legal services" A spokes person told us " hopefully this will allow for even better legal efficiency, which is essential in the busy modern day. We have been providing integrated services for years – so people can come to us with a variety of issues and there will always be someone to listen and help. Shared legal services in this way are definitely an accessible way forward. For example, it is a significant relief to a client when they can find both help for family law and finance law, all in one convenient place. That is what we aim to deliver as legal providers, after all."

Survey Reveals Financially Literate to Have a Positive Opinion on UK Immigration, Richard Webster & Co Responds

Hampshire, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/05/2015 -- Hampshire based solicitors, Richard Webster & Co, have recently commented on a survey which reveals that those who are financially literate have a more positive view on immigration, which could be key to the upcoming elections.

The study, created by the British Election Study (BES), determine that those with more financial knowledge are more likely to see immigration as a good thing to the UK economy. Up to 30,000 panel surveys studied found that the people who understood interest rates, risk diversification and inflation were likely to side with immigration, and that it enriches Britain's cultural life.

Robert Wright, an author of the report, said, 'What is really interesting about this immigration stuff is that the more you understand how labour markets work, and how taxes work and are spent, the more positive you are towards immigration. It's as simple as that.'

'You can always find one person who has lost out to some immigrant, some guy from Poland, but generally it's not the case – many immigrants end up in jobs that wouldn't be filled anyway.

Often commenting on industry news, a spokesperson for Richard Webster & Co said, 'Immigration has brought about a great deal of advances and positives to the UK, and it continues to do so. The pro-immigration poster campaign which has been implemented across the country also shows just how important immigration has been to the country, and we hope this will push people to side with those for immigration come the elections.

For those looking to move into the UK, we offer a wide range of immigration legal services to make the transition to the UK smooth and stress free. All it takes it a simple phone call to get the process started, so you too can bring a positive change to the country!'
