This upgraded universal programmer, model VP380, features a high programming speed, test vector capability, multi-array fuse map editor, device insertion and poor-pin-contact check. It automatically identifies the manufacturer and type of EPROMs and TTL/CMOS logic IC. In auto-run mode, the optimized universal programmer starts programming automatically upon detection of chip insertion. It includes a 48-pin ZIF socket and supports 8-pin to 48-pin DIP package devices and manages 16 and 32-bit word split. This practical programmer provides universal DIP, PLCC, QFP, TSOP, PSOP, SOIC, SSOP and SDIP adapters. In addition, it runs under Windows 2000, NT, 9x, ME and XP operation systems.
