The team had all been told to bring a frying pan to work if they wanted to take part, and Director Jo Gatenby laid out the rules. On her mark, everybody had to go out of the car park, follow the pavement up the hill and collect a piece of string at the top. The first one back down the hill to the start with their piece of string was the winner of a £25 Tesco Giftcard. Each member of the team was given a pancake and they had to toss and flip the pancake whilst taking part.

A quick start meant most of the participants lost steam once at the top and only just managed to get their string before trundling back down, but they were left in a tie-break situation when Rachael Venour and Laura-Jayne Carter both arrived back together. Laura-Jayne completed an almost-perfect flip with her mostly intact pancake, making her the clear winner of the Giftcard on the day.
