Lavha Launches Brand New Site, Signals Continued Growth

Revamped Website Showcases Beautiful Jewelry and Eye-Catching Colors in New Ways

Laguna Niguel, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/30/2016 -- There is never a bad time to unveil a brand new website. Unlike other seasonal debuts, an overhauled website is welcome anytime. Just in time for the flurry of the holiday season, Lavha has revealed the latest version of their beautifully crafted website. The California jeweler now has a site worthy of their widely appealing necklaces, chakra, bracelets, and more. Customers will find the newly minted website to be user friendly, image-rich, and fully functional. All products are easily accessible from the homepage, and large product images give customers a glimpse into the beauty of each item.

"We felt that the website was yearning for a change, and we are ultimately very pleased with the result," commented Jessica Forest, co-owner and co-founder of Lavha. She continued, saying "The latest version of the website is clean, crisp, and aesthetically pleasing – and we are hopeful that our loyal customers will respond positively and that new customers will likewise be drawn to it. When it comes down to it, we feel that we had grown out of our old website, and this new one is a better reflection of our current climate as a burgeoning company." In addition to the dazzling layout, the new website also comes with new features that will allow for continued growth.

At Lavha, the emphasis on essential oils comes from a holistic approach to living. Essential oils are derived from leaves, bark, flowers, roots, stems, and other parts of the whole plant. They are the healing liquid of plants that form the core of aroma therapy in addition to other natural, physical and psychological therapeutic practices. Free from artificially created perfumes or fragrances, the natural composition of essential oil molecules carefully penetrates the lungs when inhaled and absorbs through the skin into the bloodstream to deliver efficient, effective healing qualities.

About LavHa
LavHa began in August of 2013 when Jessica Forest teamed up with Nancy Lin DeGregori to create the first ever lava stones used as a diffuser of essential oils. Their product boasts the abilities of a healing stone and a diffuser, and currently sells in retail locations across North America, including three stores in California and stores in nine other states as well as Canada. LavHa is known for their essential oils, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and diffusing leather – and sells great products for women, men, and children, too.

LavHa Celebrates 3 Year Anniversary Marked by Substantial Growth

Popular California Jeweler Shows No Signs of Slowing Down

Laguna Niguel, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/22/2016 -- Starting a business requires considerable planning, heart, and a little bit of luck. From online retail stores to brick & mortar businesses to service oriented companies with a focused purpose – America is a country known for entrepreneurs looking to carve out their place in the marketplace. A new company faces numerous challenges, and often takes some time to grow into its own. One of California's recently passed the 3-year mark, none other than LavHa in Laguna Niguel.

After Jessica met Nancy Lin DeGregori in the fall of 2013, the two joined forces to create LavHa. It all began when they met, and Nancy had been making stone bracelets for a local yoga shop as a hobby, while Jessica utilized essential oils in her daily life. An idea was born to do a crafts fair together. From there they decided to combine the stone bracelets and essential oils. Following some experimentation, the pair discovered the highly absorbent lava stones – which diffused the oils beautifully. Since then, plenty of customers have found uses for lava in their own creations, with many taking advantage of them as both a healing stone and a diffusing stone.

"It really is special to us both to have had such tremendous success over the course of the last three years, and I know that each year we have expanded and demonstrated marked growth, which is very exciting," commented co-founder Jessica Forest. She continued, saying "The future is looking very bright for us, and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead as we continue to change lives and make the best jewelry we can possibly produce."

Ultimately, LavHa spearheaded a trend towards using lava stones and essential oils in jewelry and leather accessories. Their initial foray into the marketplace has inspired a cavalcade of copycat ETSY stores, all trying to emulate the unique LavHa style. The jewelry crafted by LavHa combines the holistic, healing properties of natural gemstones with the essential oils.

LavHa Launches Brand New Line of Mala Jewelry

New Pieces Are Created By an Underprivileged Tribe in India

Laguna Niguel, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/19/2016 -- Summertime is one full of magic, a time when families travel together, summer romances flourish, and the beautiful colors of the Earth come alive. It is also a time for new lines of jewelry, which Orange County native LavHa is happy to take part in. Their latest line of jewelry, known as Mala jewelry, was unleashed recently, just in time for the summer. Mala beads are traditionally Buddhist prayer beads, drawing allusions to the Catholic rosary with their use for reciting, chanting, and repeating a mantra for meditation purposes. LavHa's malas can be worn as a necklace or wrapped around the waist, and are sure to brighten any outfit with beautiful accent colors.

LavHa has spearheaded a trend towards using lava stones and essential oils in jewelry and leather accessories. Their initial foray into the marketplace has inspired a cavalcade of copycat ETSY stores, all trying to emulate the unique LavHa style. The jewelry crafted by LavHa combines the holistic, healing properties of natural gemstones with the essential oils.

Historically, Mala jewelry is made with 108 beads, a significant number in Buddhism. 108 is a spiritually significant number that is representative of God/higher truth, emptiness, and eternity/infinity. In addition, 108 is known for its correlations with astrology, desires and feelings, and even Goddess' names. Although LavHa's malas do not utilize the traditional spacing pattern, they do contain the 108 beads.

The stretch cord that threads through the mala beads makes Mala jewelry perfect as a necklace or as an accessory worn around the waist. LavHa has put their own spin on the culturally significant jewelry by infusing lava into their malas to promote protectiveness, grounding, balance, and strength. The Mala sold by LavHa is likewise noteworthy for its production location. Always on the lookout for an opportunity to help others, LavHa has teamed up with an underprivileged tribe in India for the construction of the jewelry. The choosing of an Indian tribe not only demonstrates the company's selflessness, but their commitment to authenticity.

"We really liked the look and feel of the Mala beads, and we felt infusing them with lava gave them that much more power and strength," expressed company owner Jessica Forest. She continued, saying "The fact that they are made in India was perfect in our eyes, and exuded exactly the kind of genuine nature we aim to have in every piece of our collection."

LavHa Helps Single & Stay-at-Home Moms Supplement Income with Job Opportunities

Working Mothers are Given Newfound Purpose and Extra Money

Laguna Niguel, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/25/2016 -- Mothers are perhaps the most important element in the fabric of society. They play a crucial role in the development of children and the future of a given community, state, nation, and generation. In the wake of the celebrations of Mother's Day a couple weeks ago, there is one company who continues to help mothers live better lives. Based in Orange County just south of Los Angeles, LavHa has been helping stay-at-home and single moms by employing them in the company. Many of the women have been through traumatic situations, and having a steady job with regular income allows them to get back on their feet, establish a routine, and focus some of their energy on creative talents.

In the southern tip of Orange County, LavHa calls Laguna Niguel home – and homely is a perfect adjective to describe the founders of the company as well as the company's essence. Jessica Forest and Nancy Lin DeGregori established Lavha as a company with heart. The working moms they employ exemplify this principle. Moms are able to supplement their husbands' income, work from home, and improve their financial situation in the wake of a layoff or other negative consequence.

"Being a mother is a tough tough job, and both myself and Nancy understand that, and wanted to help these women to have better lives," expressed Jessica Forest, co-owner and co-founder. "In the end, if we can make their lives just a little bit better, and lighten their financial burden, we can rest easier. For these seven mothers, working at LavHa is a fulfilling occupation that allows them to tap into their creative minds and repurpose their energy into other rewarding pursuits."

LavHa Gives Back to Less Fortunate Communities

Southern California-based Jeweler Pursues Philanthropic Endeavors in Uganda, Peru, and the Philippines

Laguna Niguel, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/08/2015 -- In the days leading up to Christmas, as we approach the end of the calendar year, countless businesses are slashing prices and creating great deals to entice shoppers. Large and small companies alike are doing everything they can to encourage purchases and market their product as the perfect stocking stuffer. There is one California-based retailer, however, whose interests are not solely to make a buck. Lavha, based in Laguna Niguel, has turned their focus away from the materialistic tendencies associated with the holiday season and towards philanthropic pursuits that aim to give back. They have teamed up with communities on three different continents to collaborate and inspire interest from consumers. Plans are currently in motion to organize the sale of unique jewelry pieces from Uganda, Peru, and the Philippines.

In addition to working with people from the aforementioned countries, Lavha employs stay at home and single moms in the OC area. The pieces they use from overseas include handwoven bags and traditional fabric bags that support the traditional weaving processes indigenous to the respective regions. Specifically, the bags from Peru are created by the Shipibo tribe – hand-embroidered and unique to their culture, buying these bags helps to keep the craftsmanship and the lives of the artisans alive.

The emphasis on essential oils comes from a holistic approach to living.
This commitment is underscored by our relationship with these communities in Uganda, Peru, and the Philippines. Ultimately we are very excited to be working with them and to have the opportunity to give them something to look forward to, something to hope for, and a goal to be reached with our guidance."
