Settlement Vindicates Wasserman Regarding Allegations

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/11/2015 -- Yeshaya Wasserman, Homewood Gardens Estates LLC, and Yitzchok Rambod announced that they have reached a mutually agreed upon settlement following a complaint by a group of tenants at Homewood Gardens in Brooklyn.

The successful resolution of the case in Federal Court was a vindication of Wasserman and Homewood Gardens LLC in the allegations brought against them by plaintiffs which included a group of tenants, The Flatbush Development Corporation, and Flatbush Tenants Coalition, who claimed harassment at the properties. "The plaintiffs and defendants acknowledge that there are no conclusive findings of fact regarding the allegations in the complaint," specified the terms of the settlement.

"Wasserman and Homewood Gardens LLC provided evidence to support the contention that they never harassed tenants or discriminated on the basis of race or color, that they maintained the subject apartments in proper order, and the majority of the new apartment rentals were to members of minority groups," the settlement affirms.
