The Cardinal Center for Behavior Analysis Now Serves Arizona, Offering in-Home Services to Children with Autism

A premier therapy provider for children with autism spectrum disorder is now working in the Grand Canyon State and is in the process of looking for clinic space.

Cary, NC -- (ReleaseWire) -- 11/23/2022 -- A premier therapy provider for children with autism spectrum disorder is expanding into Arizona with its mission to create a positive and engaging learning environment for kids with autism in the Grand Canyon State.

The Cardinal Center for Behavior Analysis is now offering in-home services in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler, and the greater Phoenix area, and planning is underway to offer more services and open clinic space in Arizona in the near future.

For its in-home work, Cardinal provides one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervising the case and working closely with parents to develop a treatment plan for each child. A Registered Behavior Technician implements the treatment plan from day to day, all with the ultimate goal of promoting independence and fostering communication, social, and life skills for children with an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis.

BCBA James Noga said he's excited to be part of the journey to bring Cardinal's evidence-based therapy approach and strong legacy of success to Arizona.

"A need has been identified for compassionate care for both the individuals with a diagnosis and the families of those individuals," Noga said. "We aim to provide the necessary tools to individuals and families so that success may be found. We are going to strive to be a leader in the Arizona market in both our quality of care as well as our training of staff."

Noga said Cardinal's focus on high-quality training for staff means its experts can offer children individualized programs and care that reinforce positive behaviors and isolate negative behaviors.

The Cardinal Center is already recognized for its work, dedication, and professionalism in North Carolina, where it operates a clinic in Cary and serves children in several communities across the state, including Durham, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, Apex, and Wake Forest.

While the work continues to find a physical location for Cardinal's forthcoming Arizona clinic, which will provide a space for social groups as well as more comprehensive care for those children who need it, Noga said the center is looking to collaborate with primary care physicians as well as occupational and physical therapists, speech-language pathologists and other Arizona specialists to make a lasting positive mark on children.

Kidney Shield Optimized Omega 3 Kidney Supplement for Supporting Kidney Health Has over 200 Positive Reviews on Amazon

Kidney Shield is widely used across the United States with over 30,000 monthly customers and 200 positive reviews on Amazon.

Wood-Ridge, NJ -- (ReleaseWire) -- 07/20/2021 -- Robert Galarowicz, a kidney sufferer and the founder of Healthy Kidney Inc. has created an all-natural, kidney revitalizing supplement that can help support optimal kidney health.

Rejuvenate kidney health by supplementing with this exceptional omega-3 supplement created to help support good kidney health.

Kidney Shield's potent omega-3s come from wild-caught fish like sardines, mackerel, and salmon that remain free from toxins. Unlike farm-raised fishes crowded in nets with high levels of toxins and mercury, Kidney Shield's wild-caught fresh fish are from the deep pockets of the North Atlantic and Pacific Ocean.

Kidney disease is a worldwide health crisis that keeps getting deadlier. In 2005, there were nearly 58 million deaths worldwide, with 35 million attributed to kidney disease. That is a record number but kidney disease can still be treated. With early detection and excellent counseling, it is possible to slow or stop the progression of kidney disease. With almost a billion people in the world suffering from some type of kidney issue, Kidney Shield can help deliver high-quality Omega-3 fatty acids to ensure optimal kidney health.

While many drug stores carry Omega-3 fish oil supplements, a large majority of them contain just 1000 mg or less with only 80-150 mg of EPA and 20-100 mg of DHA. On the other hand, Kidney Shield packs a whopping 1500 mg in a balanced proportion of 800 mg EPA, and 600 mg DHA, plus 100 mg. Even the American Heart Association recognizes the importance of omega-3s for heart health and recommends a dosage of 1,000mg of omega-3 per day.

Premium Omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to reduce the risk of inflammation that comes with kidney problems. Lower blood pressure and improved cardiovascular health are two other benefits of Omega-3 fish oils found in Kidney Shield.

Starting today, people living with kidney problems can improve their situation by incorporating Kidney Shield into their daily routine. Using low-quality fish oil supplements will not be adequate for optimal kidney health. Kidney Shield is widely used across the United States with over 30,000 monthly customers and 200 positive reviews on Amazon. Manufactured with care at a cGMP facility, Kidney Shield has gained the trust of thousands living with kidney issues.

About Kidney Shield
Kidney Shield is a ground-breaking kidney supplement that helps individuals with kidney problems achieve good kidney health. With over 200 positive Amazon reviews, Kidney Shield is consistently bought by more than thirty-thousand people every month, all across the U.S. Made with high-quality, wild-caught fish from the deep oceans, Kidney Shield maintains its premium status with high doses of EPA and DHA Omega-3 Acids. With a great lemon taste that removes the fishy taste, Kidney Shield is a true winner among Omega-3 Acids for good kidney health.

Marietta Mobility Services Emerges as a Leading Supplier of Chairlift for Stairs in Vienna and Parkersburg, West Virginia

For those having difficulty climbing stairs, a chairlift for stairs in Vienna and Parkersburg, West Virginia, is a fantastic solution worth considering.

Marietta, OH -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/02/2021 -- A chair lift for stairs is the best answer for individuals struggling when getting about between floors. One of the most common reasons people encounter mobility issues at specific points in life is physical infirmity. Apart from this, people who have been injured and gone through surgery may also suffer from mobility issues. This can be solved easily by having a chairlift for stairs in Vienna and Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Dealing with day-to-day chores with disabilities is not indeed easy. With age, mobility issues worsen, rendering individuals disabled for life, leading to the deterioration of health. Climbing stairs becomes a mammoth challenge for them, let alone performing domestic chores. As a result, occasional falls and injuries are reported. Using a chair lift for stairs is the most effective and convenient way to move quickly in the home. It lowers the chances of an accident or injury. By having such a system, one can enjoy a better standard of living.

Moving to a single-story house is not a solution. After spending so many years in a room, it may be difficult for an individual to deal with the changing circumstances. An investment in chairlift for stairs in Vienna and Parkersburg, West Virginia, pays off by securing life for the disabled and handicaps.

Marietta Mobility Services is a leading supplier of quality chair lifts for stairs. This system is attached to the railing along the stairs. While having this system installed in the home, there's no need to pull down the whole house. Equipped with a seat pan and seat belts, they can easily be mounted on the stairs to ensure a smooth ride all the time.

The system includes a soft start and stop mechanism, which is an in-built feature. Apart from moving an individual, they help carry luggage, packages, or goods up and down the stairs easily and anytime.

Marietta Mobility Services Specializes in Wheelchair Accessible Vans for Sale in Parkersburg and Wheeling, West Virginia

For those looking for wheelchair-accessible vans for sale in Parkersburg and Wheeling, West Virginia, Marietta Mobility Services is the right choice.

Marietta, OH -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/02/2021 -- Car is suitable for everyone. Even people with disabilities have the freedom to enjoy a vehicle's convenience, which is why wheelchair-accessible vans exist. These vans are typically designed to provide comfort and freedom, enabling the disabled to move independently. Apart from providing enough space, they can run at the same efficiency even when loaded.

Compared to trucks, wheelchair-accessible vans for sale in Parkersburg and Wheeling, West Virginia have the proper covers and housings, which will provide protection and comfort for passengers. These features are missing in trucks. While the trucks could also be used as handicapped vans, they would certainly cost a lot. Bedspreads, seats, and other custom features would indeed create a hole in one's wallet and credit card.

In connection with other cars, such as minivans, some attributes would also place them in the "not so good" or "just good" categories. Of course, it would be easier to provide disabled families, friends, or guests with the best possible convenience, even if they are used.

The most significant benefits for people with disabilities are comfort and convenience. Unfortunately, some vans lack special features adapted for wheelchair users even though they look good. Other devices that are often used include wheelchair vans and scooters. A vehicle without a seat is inconvenient for them and those who travel with them. Additionally, disability equipment contributes to weight. So, it makes more sense to have a car with more capacity to load heavyweight.

Marietta Mobility Services is a trusted and reputable resource in South East Ohio and northwest Virginia for wheelchair accessible vehicles and handicap accessible vans. For years, they have been a leading supplier of accessible cars to assist people with mobility challenges. These special vans are intended to help disabled people to go to medical meetings, shopping, the church, social activity, and more. Their handicapped accessible vans for sale have been appropriately transformed into secure, enduring parts and appliances for long-lasting performance.

Outcomes and Risk Factors Associated with COVID-19 and Multiple Sclerosis Published in JAMA Neurology

Hackensack, NJ -- (ReleaseWire) -- 03/22/2021 -- An original investigation of the outcomes and risk factors associated with COVID-19 from a cross-section of multiple sclerosis patients from the COViMS North American registry was published online on March 19th in JAMA Neurology. Led by Amber Salter, PhD, this research of outcomes experienced by 1,626 people in the COViMS registry between April and December 2020 found these conclusions:

- Ambulation disability, older age, and Black race are associated with worse COVID-19 clinical course in a North American MS population.

- Rituximab use, and recent treatment with corticosteroids, as well as risk factors known in the general population such as obesity and cardiovascular comorbidities were associated with worse COVID-19 clinical severity.

Knowledge of these risk factors may improve the management of patients with MS and COVID-19 by helping clinicians identify patients requiring more intense monitoring or COVID-19 treatment.
It was created early in the pandemic for health care professionals to report cases of COVID-19 infection in people with MS and related conditions. Its goal is to understand how people with MS fare on exposure to the virus and to identify factors that might be associated with COVID-19 outcomes.

Disability Application Help Launches a New Website to Offer a Free Social Security Disability Online Case Evaluation

Rochester, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/04/2020 -- Disability Application Help provides a free nationwide disability benefits evaluation service. A new website has been launched that makes it easier for people to request a free case evaluation. The free service allows disabled people to quickly find out if they may qualify for social security disability benefits. Some people may find that after working many years on the job that their body can't do the work that it once did. An example of a person that may qualify for benefits would be a person that was a roofer for many years and now finds that their knees are in very bad shape. If the person can't find another job because they did only roofing during their career, they may qualify for social security disability benefits.

It's easy for people to request a free case evaluation. A person enters their contact information online and answers a few simple questions. A disability advocate or attorney will review the information and then call the disabled person to ask any additional questions and give the results of the disability benefits evaluation.

Disability Application Help has reliably been providing free social security disability case evaluations since August 2011. Disability Application Help has its headquarters in Rochester, New York.

Long-term care planning can help ensure you get the level and quality of care you need in the event of a chronic condition.

Lynnwood, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/10/2019 -- Long-term care planning can help ensure you get the level and quality of care you need in the event of a chronic condition. As well as, an unexpected injury, or a sudden illness that leaves you unable to provide for yourself. While long-term care insurance, purchased privately or through an employer, can help offset some of these costs; not everyone obtains this type of coverage. A bill was recently passed by the state House of Representatives that would make Washington the first in the nation to offer publicly funded long term care insurance to residents.

Universal Long-Term Care Insurance In Washington

In early March 2019, House Republicans approved a measure to offer universal long-term care insurance coverage as a public benefit for workers throughout the state. The Long-Term Care Trust Act would provide up to $36,500 for those who suffer impairments. Including medical conditions that prevent them from performing at least three activities of daily living (ADL). Such as eating, bathing, or dressing themselves.

Long-term care insurance would be publicly funded through payroll taxes amounting to roughly 0.58 percent of each worker's wages. Collection on the taxes would begin in 2022, with benefit payment beginning in 2025. To be eligible for the coverage; residents would need to have worked at least part-time for a minimum of five consecutive years over the previous decade. A companion bill is currently pending in the Democratically-controlled Senate. However, no vote is currently scheduled.

Advocates claim universal long-term care insurance serves an important need. Although the amount offered is unlikely to match the actual costs that residents incur. The recent Cost of Care Study conducted by Genworth Financial shows that Washington leads the nation with average costs for long term care totalling close to $10,000 per month. "While public long-term care insurance may be a step in the right direction, it is important for people to still do their own long-term care planning," says Lynnwood attorney William S. Hickman of Hickman Menashe, P.S.

For more information on this press release visit: http://www.releasewire.com/press-releases/release-3.htm

Media Relations Contact

Debbie Hickman
Partner
Hickman Menashe Attorneys at Law
Telephone: 425-744-5658
Email: Click to Email Debbie Hickman
Web: https://www.hickmanmenashe.com

Report: More Than $10 Billion in Child Support Is Going Uncollected

In Recent Weeks, Fresh Attention is Being Paid to One of the Most Important Financial Issues Affecting Single Parents in The United States: Unpaid Child Support.

Oklahoma City, OK -- (ReleaseWire) -- 03/29/2019 -- As noted in a recent report from CBS News, it's estimated that more than $10 billion in child support is currently going uncollected. The report draws its conclusions from data provided in a recent study from the United States Census Bureau.

Alarmingly, the study found that only 43.5 percent of single parents who receive ongoing child support payments are regularly getting the full amount owed. Also a significant number of custodial parents, 30 percent, receiving no child support at all.According to the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS); Americans collectively owe $40 billion in child support each year. However, only about $30 billion of that is actually paid when due. Of course, that means that many custodial parents, and thus their children, are not receiving the financial support that they need. Missing out on child support payments can put a tremendous financial burden on a family. As explained by the Oklahoma City child support attorneys at Brown & Gould, PLLC,"Parents owed child support do have a number of different options available. The failure to pay child support is a violation of a court order.

Through the Oklahoma Department of Human Services; a custodial parent who is owed past due child support may be able to collect that money through garnishment of wages. Also by obtaining a lien on the other parent's property or bank account, or through the confiscation of a state or federal tax return. In addition, the intentional violation of a child support order could result in a persons arrest."Unpaid child support has long been a serious problem in the state of Oklahoma. With one of the highest divorce rates in the nation, many children in Oklahoma live primarily with one parent. In 2015, state Child Support Services (CSS) noted that there was an active arrest warrant out for more than 11,000 Oklahomans who failed to appear in court for their unpaid child support hearing. These violators were all offered amnesty from arrest if they voluntarily came forward to work with state officials to satisfy their child support obligations.

For more information on this press release visit: http://www.releasewire.com/press-releases/release-3.htm

Media Relations Contact

Terri
Brown & Gould PLLC
Telephone: 405-235-4500
Email: Click to Email Terri
Web: https://www.browngouldlaw.com/

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB): Elder Financial Abuse Is Widespread

Recently, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) released a new report on elder financial abuse in the United States.

Kent, WA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 03/28/2019 -- According to the CFPB, the nation's largest private financial institutions state that they have received massive amounts of elder financial fraud. They report more than $6 billion in elder financial fraud between 2013 and 2017. Even more alarming, the agency cautions that the true extent of senior citizen financial abuse is almost undoubtedly far higher.

Elder financial exploitation goes systemically underreported. The CFPB estimates that there were more than 3.5 million incidents of elder financial exploitation in 2017 alone.Elder financial abuse comes in a wide range of different forms. In some cases, this is a type of fraud committed by an overseas scammer. Someone using the internet, a phone call, or the postal service to carry out their illicit scheme. In other cases, elder financial fraud is committed by close friends or family members . An unscrupulous person using their position of trust to take advantage of a vulnerable senior citizen. The CFPB recommends that a person who has been the victim of elder financial fraud reach out to their local adult protective services agency or to a private legal professional. Depending on the specific nature of the incident, there may be options available to try to recover money or property lost in a fraud scheme.

Notably, the best way to protect a vulnerable elderly person is by taking proactive measures. As explained by Renton, WA estate planning attorney Dan
Kellogg, "Estate planning is about more than dividing and distributing assets. There are many cases in which older people are no longer able to effectively manage their own financial or legal affairs. Using estate planning tools such as giving a trustworthy family member power of attorney or setting up a trust to help manage and protect assets can dramatically reduce the risk of a vulnerable person becoming a victim of financial fraud or financial exploitation."The CFPB notes that many elder financial fraud victims lost tens of thousands of dollars. Often, the money was not lost all at once, but instead over multiple, ongoing fraudulent transactions. To help reduce the rate of elder financial exploitation; the
CFPB has teamed up with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to create Money Smart for Older Adults. A program designed to raise awareness among senior citizens and caregivers; on how to prevent and respond to elder financial fraud.

For more information on this press release visit: http://www.releasewire.com/press-releases/release-3.htm

Media Relations Contact

Dan Kellogg
Founder
Law Offices of Dan Kellogg
Telephone: 1-425-227-8700
Email: Click to Email Dan Kellogg
Web: https://www.dankellogg.com

More Effective Diagnostics and Aging Population Fuels Increase in Spinal Fusion Surgery in Oklahoma

A New Report Cites Better Diagnostic Testing Procedures and The Ongoing Health Care Needs of an Aging Population as Fueling the Demand for Spinal Fusion Surgery Throughout the United States.

Tulsa, OK -- (ReleaseWire) -- 03/27/2019 -- In Oklahoma nearly 20 percent of the population is over the age of 60 and roughly 40 percent of these suffer from chronic pain and limited mobility issues.

ADDRESSING BACK AND NECK PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH AGING

The spine contains numerous bones and soft tissues. All of which can begin to deteriorate as you age. According to Dr. Jason Sparks of Spine & Orthopedic Specialists Tulsa, "Normal wear and tear combined with accidental injuries and chronic health conditions often leave patients over the age of 60 suffering with limited mobility and chronic pain."

FORTUNATELY, ADVANCES IN DIAGNOSTIC TESTING ARE BETTER ABLE TO PINPOINT THE UNDERLYING CAUSES OF PAIN AND DISCOMFORT.

This includes the lumbar and cervical regions so that they can be effectively treated by health care professionals. Once conditions commonly suffered by older adults, such as degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, and spinal stenosis, are identified through x-rays, computerized tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); spinal fusion surgery can then repair the damage.

"As a minimally invasive procedure, spinal fusion surgery often allows patients to return home the same day. Equally important, they can also resume normal activities in as little as a week," says Dr. Sparks. This is good news for people in Tulsa and throughout Oklahoma. According to statistics from the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS); roughly 20 percent of the states nearly four million residents are over the age of 60. Of these, almost 40 percent report experiencing physical disabilities that limit their mobility. More effective diagnosis of these conditions, which often involve the back and neck region; will fuel the demand for spinal fusion surgery in the years to come.

For more information on this press release visit: http://www.releasewire.com/press-releases/release-3.htm

Media Relations Contact

Dr. Sparks
Doctor/Specialist?Partner
Spine & Orthopedic Specialist
Telephone: 539-664-4448
Email: Click to Email Dr. Sparks
Web: https://www.sostulsa.com/
